Budget Buy: MUA Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighter

I have been trying to get my mitts on the MUA Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighter for absolute ages, but it was sold out everywhere for a couple of months! Crazy! I made sure to sign up to Superdrug's notifications though, to let me know when it is back in stock and as soon as I got the email, I ordered... THREE of them :) haha.

Lily Lolo Classic and Metallics Collection

I am a big fan of Lily Lolo and I own quite a big selection of their products.  Their Mineral Concealer is fantastic and their gorgeous Demure & Intense Crush  lipsticks are some of my all time favourite lip colours. I also purchased some of their loose eye shadows and the pigmentation was incredible, but... I prefer pressed products, so the new releases looked very promising. There are four new  Lily Lolo products available, including two Eye Shadow Quads and two shades of Shimmer Stripes.

Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation Review

I am pretty sure that this foundation doesn't need an introduction :) It is the one and only Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation. Many bloggers and youtubers rave about it and again... I fell for the hype. Even the £33 price tag didn't put me off. Is it worth the money and all the hype? Let's find out...

Boujrois Happy Light Range - reviewed

More fabulous releases from Bourjois? Yep! They are on a roll! Their Happy Light range was released at the beginning of October and you probably noticed it in your local Boots and Superdrug, or already own some of the new products. I have been trialing the Happy Light Luminous Serum Primer, Foundation and Concealer and as usual, I am very impressed. I have so much love for Bourjois!

New additions to my MAC Palette: Sumptuous Olive, Club and Nylon (review, makeup look and swatches)

Building a MAC palette ain't cheap and it doesn't happen overnight, but... I couldn't resist ordering three more shades online. I also got a sample of the Zoom Fast Black Lash Mascara and free delivery so it wasn't too bad :) The shades I got this time are Nylon, Sumptuous Olive and Club. The first one is a perfect highlight and the two green colours look lovely with brown eyes, so I just had to order them

Clarins The Essentials Eye Makeup Palette

Another neutral eye shadow palette? Well... The Essentials Eye Makeup Palette by Clarins is different. It was created to make your eyes look amazing, while supporting human rights and the environment. Clarins has joined forces with Pur Project and they promised to plant 10,000 trees to help revive the Kuntanawa culture. As someone who studied (and is passionate about )cultural anthropology, I feel very strongly about preserving and reviving vanishing cultures, so it makes me really happy to see Clarins engaging in such a great cause. Well done! But what do I think about The Essentials Eye Makeup Palette itself? Let's find out.

Autumn Eyes: MAC Cranberry, Sketch, All That Glitters & Retrospeck

I mentioned in my 'MAC Palette' post that I bought very Autumn appropriate shades and some of you asked me to create a makeup look with them. Your wish is my command, so here it is: MAC Cranberry & Sketch Smokey Eye. I used a mixture of my new full size MAC eyeshadows and some shades from my MAC Fabulousness Palette. I wanted the look to be quite dramatic, so I added black liner and loads of mascara.

New Year's Eve In London

I know that it might be hard to believe, but I have never been to London! I know... it is a shocker! Technically, I have been there, but it was purely to get a train to another city so it was a 5 minute adventure. Anyway...  I am planning to change it and go for a massive shopping spree to London next year, but... after reading the article below about spending New Year's Eve in London, I might change my plans and go there sooner :) I hope you find the piece interesting.

Brand Spotlight: The Rose Tree

I recently got a chance to try some fabulous products from a luxury organic brand called The Rose Tree and I really wanted to introduce you to their beautiful skincare, body care and candles. I featured the Carrot & Mango Cleansing Butter in my 'Morning skincare routine' post, but today I will be reviewing two more product I have been using throughout October.

Sunday Manicure: Yummy Mummy

If I had to pick one nail colour to wear for the rest of my life, it would be Yummy Mummy by Butter London. It is the perfect nude shade and it compliments my skin tone beautifully, even with a bit of fake tan on :)

Feelunique treats - YSL Touche Eclat and Guerlain Lipstick (reviewed)

Since I had a feelunique voucher burning a whole in my virtual pocket, I thought I should treat myself to some high end makeup scribbled on my 'never ending wishlist'. I recently fell in love with Guerlain products, but haven't tried their lipsticks yet, so KissKiss Strass went straight into my basket. I have also been lusting after the iconic YSL Touche Eclat and I knew that the collector edition won't be around for much longer, so it ended up in my basket too :)

NEOM Real Luxury Home Candle

You all know how much I love NEOM and their candles :) I declared my love for them many times and I probably sound like broken record :) When NEOM's best selling 'Real Luxury Home Candle' landed on my doorstep, I couldn't be more excited. My first NEOM purchase was a Real Luxury shower gel, so lighting the candle brought back some lovely memories. It's amazing, that fragrances have the ability to do that!

Building my first MAC palette!

I always promise myself to stop spending money on makeup, but there are things I have been meaning to buy for a long time and a MAC palette is one of them. It isn't a cheap treat, because once it is full it will cost me a total of over £170, but... I really think it is worth investing in. My  MAC eye shadow wish list is really long, but I thought I should start with four Autumn appropriate colours.

Beautiful Bathrooms

I probably spend too much time planning my dream bathroom, especially since I discovered Pinterest :) I could browse the images all night, until I fall asleep with my face stuck to my iPad, haha. If you love home decor, you might find this guest post interesting.

My Morning Skincare Routine

Sometimes I wish I had a very simple skincare routine, but as a beauty blogger, I try out many products quite often and I usually switch between a totally different skincare lineup every 2-3 months. I try to base my skincare around cleansing balms, hydrating serums and nourishing face creams to keep my skin happy, but one ingredient my face has been loving more than anything else is hyaluronic acid. Today, I am sharing my morning skincare lineup with short reviews of each product I am currently using.

Roses De Chloé EDT Review

Oh my .... Let's just take a moment to appreciate the beautiful packaging of Roses De Chloé EDT. The bottle is utterly gorgeous and very elegant and I am displaying it in a special spot, in front of my other perfumes :) I don't actually own a full size original Chloé EDT, but I do have a couple of samples of it and it smells amazing. If you love the original, you will probably fall in love with Roses De Chloé, released to celebrate the 5th birthday of the Chloé fragrance.

The Herb Body Map

When I was asked, if I would like to feature this infographic on the blog, I just had to say yes. I am obsessed with natural remedies and you will never see me taking  over-the-counter medicines or going to the doctor for other medication. I don't want to put unnecessary chemicals  into my body. I very rarely get ill and when I do catch something, I use 100% natural remedies to cure everything and my symptoms are very mild and easy to treat. The key to stay healthy and have a strong immune system is in healthy eating and it is one of the reasons why I eat clean! I make sure to pack my menu with vitamin C rich foods, fatty fish, nuts, seeds, garlic, onions, apples, superfoods and powerful herbs and they work wonders! I might even prepare a little guide about dealing with winter colds the natural way. Let me know, if you would like to read it :)

My A/W Fake Tanning Guide

I love a bit of fake tan, especially during the A/W season. It makes me feel more confident and adds a healthy glow to my face and body. Today, I would like to share some of my favourite fake tanning products I use and repurchase regularly, plus some new additions  to my routine.

The 'Carrie' Necklace

I usually go for statement necklaces, but I thought it was time to try something more dainty. I am not obsessed with Sex And The City or Carrie Bradshaw, but I quite like the idea of a name necklace, longs it isn't huge or tacky :)

Sephora Highlighting Compact Powder in Gold

First of all, I can't believe we don't have Sephora in UK. It's so unfair and... It doesn't make sense. Thankfully, I was able to get my hands on this gorgeous highlighter when my sisters were coming for a visit all the way from Poland. Sephora's own range is reasonably priced and this beaut was around the £10 mark. It is much cheaper in US and I believe that it was available in the sale for just $5!!!

Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler Review

I have been meaning to order the Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler (£20.00) since I read about it years ago, but... I didn't really want to pay £20.00 for it. I kept buying cheaper curlers and guess what? They all fell apart after a couple of uses or didn't even curl my lashes properly. I am sure I spent much more than £20 on eyelash curlers in the past, so I should have bought Shu Uemura ones in the first place. They are definitely worth the hype and I am glad I decided to order them from Space NK.

Poison Ivy Halloween Eye Makeup Look and Hair Style

I am sooo excited to share this Halloween Makeup Look with you :) I was asked to take part in a hair styling challenge to recreate the Poison Ivy look, but I decided to add a couple of finishing touches, like contact lenses and cool lashes to make it more interesting. It was sooo much fun!

Love Me Beauty Box - October

I hope you are ready for another rave review of a beauty box :) haha. Seriously, I couldn't be happier with my October Love Me Beauty Box. Since the launch a couple of months ago, LMB did not disappoint with the product selection and quality. There is always something for everyone and most products are full size. Perfect! In October, I picked menu 3 and here are the fabulous products I received:

Healthy Eating Update

If you follow me on instagram, you probably know that I am obsessed with healthy food. I mention it on the blog too, but I should definitely talk about it more often. I get tons of emails asking me about food and recipes, but the biggest part for me is just about paying attention to what goes into my body. The "Neal's Yard Remedies Healing Foods" book, is perfect for those who are trying to make a change and eat 'better', or those who already enjoy a healthy diet and want to know more about certain foods and get some recipe ideas.

Sigma Defining Eyes Palette* ( £47.95 via www.cocktailcosmetics.co.uk)

I mentioned in some of my previous reviews, that I love the formula of Sigma's eye shadows. They are nicely pigmented, easy to blend and long lasting. As soon as I found out about the gorgeous Defining Eyes Palatte, I couldn't wait to try it and share my review on the blog. The palette is a collaboration with a youtuber Tiffany D and features eight eye shadows, a double ended eye pencil, two gel liners and a dual ended brush.

Little Treat: Diptyque BAIES Candle (review)

As soon as I realised that the Baies candle smells like blackcurrant leaves and roses, I had to have it! Buying the full size wasn't an option at the time, so I settled on the smaller, 70g version. It promises to burn for up to 30 hours, so it isn't actually that expensive.

My husbands 'beauty' stash

As soon as you enter my bathroom, you can see that all beauty product on the shelves belong to me and my husband's only belongings are a toothbrush and an electric shaver. Typical. I have always been intrigued by my husbands simple 'routine' and I can't believe that it actually works for him. His skin looks great, he never gets breakouts and his complexion is glowing! What is his secret?

REN Rosa Centifolia No. 1 Purity Cleansing Balm Review

I adore cleansing balms and they are the only cleansers I use at the moment. I usually reach for the Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm or Balance Me Cleanse & Smooth Face Balm, but I have also been enjoying REN's new offering. Rosa Centifolia No.1 Purity Cleansing Balm is a gorgeous product, with the most luxurious feel to it and it might even replace my Emma Hardie Balm for good, since it is more affordable and does the same job.
