Autumn Eyes: MAC Cranberry, Sketch, All That Glitters & Retrospeck

I mentioned in my 'MAC Palette' post that I bought very Autumn appropriate shades and some of you asked me to create a makeup look with them. Your wish is my command, so here it is: MAC Cranberry & Sketch Smokey Eye. I used a mixture of my new full size MAC eyeshadows and some shades from my MAC Fabulousness Palette. I wanted the look to be quite dramatic, so I added black liner and loads of mascara.

I started with All That Glitters in the inner corners of my eyes and under the brown bones and followed with Cranberry allover the lid. To add more depth, I used Sketch in the crease and blended it out with a mixture of Cranberry (whatever was left on my brush) and All That Glitters. To add more sparkle, I used Retrospeck in the inner corners and under the brow bones, but you don't have to do that, if you don't like glittery shades. On the lower lash line, I used Sketch as close to the lash line as possible and blended it out with Cranberry. To make my lashes look fuller and make the look more dramatic, I used Bourjois Liner Pinceau along the top lash line, with quite a big flick :) I also added an intense black eyeliner by Barry M in the waterline. To finish it off, I curled my lashes with a Shu Uemura Curler, followed by 2 coats of Bourjois Twist Up The Volume Mascara. It is fab, by the way :)

That's it :) Let me know, if you decide to recreate this look. I was asked, if Cranberry goes with blue eyes, and yes - it does - it looks gorgeous. If you don't believe me, have a look at this post by Kayleigh - a more subtle version, but absolutely stunning!
