Skincare Favourites

this post features ad/pr products

I’m a skincare girlie through and through, always have been, so I’m actually shocked at how long it’s been since I featured some skincare favourites. Here’s a rundown of what I’ve been loving.

Makeup Favourites

ad/pr| It feels so good to be writing an actual favourites blog post. Today’s one is the most authentic kind, because it's literally what I grabbed from my makeup stash and put on my face. Heavy on Rare Beauty, because I’m truly enjoying all the formulas. Here’s the breakdown, with all the links.

Merit Retrospect L’Extrait de Parfum Review

this post contains ad/gifted products and affiliate links

I have to dedicate a full blog post to the Merit Retrospect L’Extrait de Parfum*. It is a very unique fragrance, and I completely fell in love with it! It's MERIT's debut fragrance, and the nose behind it - Fanny Bal definitely didn't play it safe. They took a risk , and in my opinion it really paid off. Retrospect comes in a 30ml format and it is priced at £79.00. Now let's dive into it!

Giorgio Armani Si EDP Review

Giorgio Armani Si EDP* (£67.00) has been on my radar since I received a tiny sample of it with one of my beauty purchases, and I fell in love with it right away. After spraying myself head to toe with the vial, I knew I needed a full size bottle of Si in my life :)

Pixi Beauty Liquid Lip

AD/ This post contains gifted products and affiliate links

It is no secret, that Pixi Beauty is one of my favourite makeup brands of all time. I adore their skincare too, but their MatteLast Liquid Lip* (£16.00) is my everyday beauty essential and I cannot live without the nude shades! I must go through at least 4 of the Pixi nudes per year, easily. I use these multiple times a day, so they will last you a long time, don't worry. Anyway... Let's dive into the formula.

Urban Decay Naked Heat review

I have been dying to try the Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette* and I am not gonna lie - it was sooo worth the wait! It was very hyped up and has the perfect colour selection for my skin tone and eye colour and I am simply in love!

Jimmy Choo I Want Choo EDP review

This post includes gifted products and affiliate links

It's so nice to be back to blogging properly, and what better way to get my inner beauty blogger going than a fragrance review. YAY! I recently popped into Frasers Glasgow to try the new I Want Choo EDP by Jimmy Choo*, as they had the JC Golden Chair set up at the iconic spot on the staircase and it was love at first sight. The bottle, the luxurious feel, the scent itself. Stunning! I was kindly gifted some Jimmy Choo goodies and let me tell you... what a lovely surprise! If you're looking for a new fragrance to try, you have to give I Want Choo a go. I got so many compliments on it already. Keep reading to find out more.

Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Muse Palette Review

This post features ad/gifted products and affiliate links

I own many eyeshadow palettes, but the Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Muse Luxury Palette*(£45.00) is definitely one of my all time favourites. From the quality of the eyeshadows, to the selection of colours and textures, it is perfect for everyday looks and special occasions. And I also have a 15% discount code for Charlotte Tilbury for you!

Giorgio Armani brow products.

I've been meaning to write about some of the Giorgio Armani eyebrow products for ages, but I never really got round to it till now. I received this selection and I was really confused about the bright red to be honest, but I actually used it on my lips and it worked a treat. The other products are much more suited to eyes and brows though, so I didn't have a problem trying them out. In fact - I found my new favourite eyebrow pencil and angled brush. Yay!

Brand focus: Typology Paris

(AD/gifted) This post contains gifted products and affiliate links

Skincare has always been a huge part of my blog (and my daily routine) and I have tried hundreds (or thousands) of products over the years and  it became very rare for a brand to catch my eye and get me intrigued, but... Typology managed to make me excited to write about skincare again. Yay!

I have been using Typology products for a long time and I mention them on Instagram quite a lot, so you are probably familiar with the name and aesthetic. I adore their ethos, packaging and formulas. I was recently sent a few more bits to try, so I thought it was about time to finally share my thoughts on the blog.

AD: Cliphair Wrap Aroud Ponytail

ad/gifted/affiliate links

I was kindly sent the new Wrap Around Ponytail by Cliphair to try out before the official launch date and let me tell you... for someone who will never have thick long hair, it is a game changer. I had a bit of time to get used to installing it in my hair and after 3 attempts, I mastered it and I am obsessed! Ariana Grande, move over... hahaha.

GeoSmartPro AIRLIT Smart Ring Light & Fan review

With almost every individual and business creating some sort of online content, it is essential to have good lighting. In the colder months, when the days are shorter, I really struggle with light and getting the photos and videos I want, so a ring light is essential! I was kindly sent the GeoSmartPro AIRLIT* £69.99 to try out and as a content creator, I definitely needed it in my life!

Bobbi Brown Molten Metals Liquid Eyeshadows

This post contains PR samples and affiliate links.

I was kindly sent the new Bobbi Brown Molten Metals Liquid Eyeshadows*(£18.50) last month and I can honestly say that I haven't been this excited about a makeup item in a while. I mentioned these in my Spring edit, but I have to dedicate a full blog post and swatches to this product, because I love it so much!

AD: Summer Makeup & Beauty with Boots

AD - this is a paid collaboration with Boots.com

I always have a little switch up in my makeup bag, skincare stash and even in my perfume collection for the Summer, because sometimes you need sunshine, a holiday or a festival to pull off neon liner or glitter makeup on your face. I am not afraid of taking risks though and you will always see me trying new trends and colours - I just love it! Today I am sharing some of my Summer beauty picks and a fun and easy makeup look which would be perfect for a festival or if you simply want to add a pop of colour just for fun!

FENTY Beauty Poutsicles Juicy Satin Lipsticks

This post contains PR samples and affiliate links
I've always loved experimenting with lip colour, so I knew I was gonna create some fun looks with the new  FENTY Beauty Poutsicles Juicy Satin Lipstick*(£18.00), despite the fact I probably wouldn't have picked blue or purple as my first choices. The Poutsicles are part of the new Summer collection and are limited edition.

Pixi Beauty Glow Cakes

This post includes gifted products and affiliate links.

I was kindly sent a selection of Pixi products a while ago and I was instantly drawn to the Glow Cakes*(£24.00), which combine subtle contour, blush and highlight in one and are an absolute dream to use. The formula is lovely and the colours are super flattering on most skin tones.

My Summer Beauty Favourites

AD/gifted: This post included gifted products and affiliate links

It's that time of the year again, when I share my Summer beauty favourites. Some are new to my routine and some have been mentioned already and repurchased. There aren't many makeup products on my face lately, as I've been keeping it very simple and letting my natural skin glow, so it's all about skincare and SPF these days.
