Pixi Beauty Liquid Lip

It is no secret, that Pixi Beauty is one of my favourite makeup brands of all time. I adore their skincare too, but their MatteLast Liquid Lip* (£16.00) is my everyday beauty essential and I cannot live without the nude shades! I must go through at least 4 of the Pixi nudes per year, easily. I use these multiple times a day, so they will last you a long time, don't worry. Anyway... Let's dive into the formula.

We all know the dreaded matte liquid lip formula... and we don't want it anywhere near our lips, right? There is nothing worse than your lips feeling tight and the product cracking and flaking off. Well... the Pixi MatteLast Liquid Lip is definitely NOT one of these lipsticks. Quite the opposite actually! It is ultra creamy and feels silky when you apply it. It's hydrating and nourishing and gives a stunning smooth finish. It applies like a dream, with intense pigmentation and an even colour distribution. It will make your lips look gorgeous and plump, but stay matte at the same time. I absolutely adore this formula! It takes a few minutes to dry after application, but it's just part of the process. Once dry, these last for a good few hours on the lips (if you don't eat or drink anything greasy, it will actually last for 6h+).

The applicator on the MatteLast Liquid Lipstick is the perfect shape for even and easy coverage. I always remove any excess product  before applying, as it's super pigmented and you don't need much. It's my favourite kind of applicator, as it allows enough precision, without needing a lip brush.

These are wet swatches of the 4 shades: Pastel Petal, Really Rose, Prettiest Pink and Evening Rose

I am wearing Pastel Petal here after it completely dried down.

Overall, the Pixi Beauty MateLast Liquid Lipsticks are my number one matte lipstick formula at the moment and I reach for the nude ones daily, so I can't recommend these enough for that classic matte lip look.

Available from www.lookfantastic.com, Sephora and of course https://pixibeauty.co.uk/

Have you tried these? Are you a matte lip fan?
