Sigma Defining Eyes Palette* ( £47.95 via www.cocktailcosmetics.co.uk)

I mentioned in some of my previous reviews, that I love the formula of Sigma's eye shadows. They are nicely pigmented, easy to blend and long lasting. As soon as I found out about the gorgeous Defining Eyes Palatte, I couldn't wait to try it and share my review on the blog. The palette is a collaboration with a youtuber Tiffany D and features eight eye shadows, a double ended eye pencil, two gel liners and a dual ended brush.

Tiffany designed the palette "with colours that work together flawlessly to create looks from the most natural and toned-down, to the most dramatic". She also wanted to make sure that you can make your eyes look bigger, brighter and more awake with the products included in the palette. Perfect!

The palette comes in a medium sized box, with a booklet to give you some ideas for beautiful eye makeup looks. The eye shadow colours include: In the Dark, Midnight, Fog, Halo, Brunette, Chestnut, Smoke & Beam. All super pigmented and easy to blend. You can see the swatches on the photos below. My favourite colours are Beam (perfect inner corner highlight) and Smoke (a taupe colour with a satin finish). The neutral colours are ideal for everyday wear and the gorgeous deep purple/electric blue colour (Midnight) and matte black (In The Dark) are perfect for more intense, dramatic looks. As usual, the eye shadows lasted on my eyelids all day, without smudging or fading. Remember to use a good primer to prolong wear.

To apply the eye shadows, I used the dual ended brush included in the palette. It features  an E55 brush on one side (for shading) and an E30 brush on the other side (for smoking out liner and pencil). The quality of Sigma brushes is amazing and they feel super soft.

The dual ended pencil features a white side for brightening your eyes and a deep purple/electric blue side for adding a pop of colour. The pencils can be used on your eyelids, along the lashline or in the waterline. They are super creamy and beautifully pigmented.

The last two products in the palette are two gel liners: Blackout (black) and Chocolate (dark brown). I was worried that they will smudge during the day, but they stayed in place, looking perfect! They are very creamy and easy to apply with a Sigma E05 Eyeliner Brush. The black colour is perfect for dramatic smokey eye looks and the brown looks gorgeous with more neutral shades.
