Current skincare routine

Hi everyone. I finally decided to share my current skincare lineup! This post has been highly requested, but I wasn't too sure if I should write it. I switch between products quite often, but the ones featured in this post are the ones I used the most in the past 2-3 months.

First of all, I do my best to stick to natural products and very rarely use anything out of my comfort zone. I don't see the need to use really nasty ingredients in skincare,  but I do make exceptions sometimes...
So what have I been using on my face? Let's see...

For cleansing and removing my makeup, I have been using the Emma Hardie Amazing Face Natural Lift and Sculpt Moringa Cleansing Balm (what.a.long.name!).
I got this lovely product for Christmas with other EH goodies from my husband and I am very impressed.
It is totally worth the hype and I adore it! It smells incredible and works wonders on my face. I use it as a cleanser, as a massage balm and as a mask/treatment.  Let me know if you would like to see a full review of it. I know that everybody and their mother featured it on their blog, but I am happy to dedicate a full post to it. It is amazing and I would definitely recommend it, especially if you can find it on offer. Mine is the 100ml one and it came in the Emma Hardie Amazing Face Set from QVC (here)

I can't imagine my routine without toning my skin and I have been using two products for this step: the Jurlique
Rosewater Balancing Mist* and Caudalie Beauty Elixir. I reviewed both of them previously, so if you click on the names, the links will take you to full reviews. I switch between the two of them and also use them to set my makeup or refresh it during the day. They are both really lovely, but on the expensive side. From more reasonably priced toners, I love Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic.

This step is quite a recent addition to my routine. I am sure that you probably already own it or have it on your skincare  wishlist. It is the amazing Hydraluron*. It is a hydration booster with hyaluronic acid and it makes my skin feel incredibly soft and supple! If you haven't tried it yet, I think you should.

I forgot to include  serums in this post, but after using Hydraluron, I apply Dr Jart Pore Refine Up Tighten Serum on and around my nose, on my forehead  and chin and Ark Clearing Skin Response Serum* allover my face. Hydraluron makes the serums perform even better. I also started using a new serum recently - Bliss Firm, Baby, Firm!* It is really lovely and I will be reviewing it on the blog soon.

In the moisturiser department I always have far too many on the go. I am trying to use up my Emma Hardie Amazing Face Hydrating and Firming Treatment Moisturiser, so that's the one I have been reaching for the most. It is a light formula and it smells really lovely. If I see it on offer again, I will definitely repurchase it.  My current eye serum is also from the EH Amazing Face range. It is the Natural Lift and Sculpt Firming Eye Serum. It is much lighter than the face cream and it has an amazingly silky texture. It is very hydrating and it reduces the appearance of fine lines. Another eye cream in the lineup is the Weleda Wild Rose Smoothing Eye Cream* I tend to use this one in the morning and the Emma Hardie one at night. I blogged about it recently, so if you want to read a detailed review, click here.

For nasty breakouts, I am using the Origins Super Spot Remover. I wasn't impressed with it at the beginning, but I am addicted now and as soon as it runs out, I will repurchase it. If I notice a new breakout, I apply a tiny amount of the gel on it and it instantly stops any irritation. It reduces the size of a breakout in a couple of hours and if you are lucky, it can get rid of a breakout completely overnight!  I always make sure to apply it precisely onto the area I want to treat, because it is the most drying product ever. If you use it around the breakout, it will really dry your skin, so be careful with the application.  I can honestly say that this is the best spot treatment I have ever tried and paying £13 for 10ml was the right thing to do!

I also use many different face masks on a regular basis, but my favourite ones at the moment are: Aromatherapy Associates Deep Cleanse Face Mask* , Emma Hardie Soothing Moisture Mask and Liz Earle Intensive Nourishing Treatment Mask. I also love Montagne Jaunesse sachets and sheet masks and I am planning to review them on the blog in the future.

If my skin feels dry during the day, I spray it with Caudalie Grape Water. It is a hydrating mist, much cheaper than the beauty Elixir and without the strong scent.  I am addicted to it!

The last product I decided to feature is the Liz Earle Superskin Moisturiser. It is a rich cream, for mature and dry skin and I use it when my skin needs an extra boost of moisture.

There is more products in my routine, but it would take forever to write them all down. I am currently switching back to a Liz Earle  routine, with Cleanse and Polish etc, so keep your eyes peeled for the new lineup soon.

I hope you enjoyed this post as much as I enjoyed writing it :)
