Christmas Gift Guide 2015: Gifts For Him.

My gift guides are almost finished. I will miss the festive setup :) I left the mens one till now, because I was waiting for a couple of deliveries. Surprise, surpise - still not here, but I tried to include a bit of everything.

Christmas Gift Guide 2015: Kiko

Kiko is a brand I absolutely adore and I decided to dedicate a full blog post to their Christmas gift sets this year. From makeup to fragrance and brushes, they offer a variety of wonderful products.

Christmas Gift Guide 2015: Gift Sets

I talked about fragrance gift sets on Wednesday (here), but today I have a selection of skincare, makeup, bodycare, haircare and more. From budget options, to luxury brands, there is something for everyone.

Christmas Gift Guide 2015: Fragrance for Her

Oh, who doesn't love receiving a fragrance gift set or a bottle of your favourite perfume for Christmas, right? I know I do :) I am a perfume junkie! Every year, the gifts sets get more and more beautiful and some of  the bottles are simply breathtaking!

Christmas Gift Guide 2015: Home Fragrance/Candles

Part 3 of my Christmas gift guides is all about home fragrance. From beautifully scented candles to gift sets and stunning diffusers. I included a selection of festive blends and some other options too.

Christmas Gift Guide 2015: Personalised Gifts

I love personalised gifts, as they are extra special and very thoughtful. I was recently contacted by www.ijustloveit.co.uk who asked me to pick a couple of things from their website to showcase on my blog and I opted for two little presents for Mia and Zac and a keepsake for me and Scott.

Christmas Gift Guide 2015: Stocking Fillers

It's finally time to crack on with my Christmas Gift guides. Yay! I am starting with stocking fillers, as it is probably my favourite part. From makeup and skincare, to Christmas crackers and yummy treats.

Medela Double Electric Breastpump and other Medela products to help with breastfeeding.

About 3 months ago, I started using a range of Medela products to make my breastfeeding journey easier. The main thing was the Medela Swing Maxi Double Electric Breastpump*, but I also found the harmony pump and all the little 'accessories' very useful.

WOOUF at Flamingo Gifts

I've been looking for a good quality beanbag for the kids for ages and after buying one a while ago, that was a nightmare to clean, I gave up until I found some fantastic designs by a brand called Woouf. And guess who is their UK stockist? The lovely Flamingo Gifts!

Girls Day Out Show Glasgow 2015

I was kindly invited to the Girls Day Out Show in Glasgow on Friday and I decided to go with my sister in law Terrie, as she has previously attended the event with her friends and really enjoyed it.

Chanel Allure EDT

I received Chanel Allure Eau De Toilette Spray as a gift from my husband and it is the only Chanel scent in my collection. It comes in a very simple spray bottle with a silver & gold cap and it is described as a definition of elegance.

Frugi kidswear

I mentioned Frugi and their lovely breastfeeding cardigan here and I am sooo impressed with the quality. I've had it for a while now, it has been washed many times and it still looks brand new. Amazing! Mia and Zachary were kindly sent some beautiful Frugi pieces too and here they are, modelling them for the blog :) haha. It was sooo hard to get any good pictures of them together by the way. They are both super active and don't want to sit still.

The Vital Role of Regular Health Assessment in Leading a Longer, Healthier Life

As we all live busy lives, we tend to forget to care for our health and don't make it a priority. But as soon as we get sick, we realize how much we have neglected our body and physical health. A lot of us live busy lives without considering how much our lifestyle actually limits us. I
n this blog post, we will discuss how regular health assessments can actually help us enjoy life to the fullest.

Products you can now buy at Boots

Boots occasionally send me their 'beauty boxes' full of products available in their stores and I absolutely love trying everything they choose. I often get asked if the boxes are available to buy, but just to clarify - these are just put together for review purposes to showcase a range of items.  They are great though, as I can now share my opinion on the products with my readers. The selection this time is quite varied - from teeth whitening strips, to hair supplements, skincare and nails.

bareMinerals Blemish Remedy Foundation

I really like mineral powder foundations and the bareMinerals Blemish Remedy Foundation* (£23.40) is my new favourite. I have been using it for a while now and I can definitely recommend it, especially if you have blemish prone skin.

Bespoke Christmas Beauty Hamper with Boots

When it comes to Christmas presents, DIY beauty hampers are my speciality. I just love putting together a bespoke selection of products for the recipient to match their taste. Yes, you can buy ready hampers and gift sets, but it is so much more special when you make it yourself.

The perfect Christmas gift with Daniel Wellington

Watches are quite popular gifts during the Christmas season or for any occassion really. From chunky statement timepieces to simple and elegant designs, there is something for everyone. If you want to treat someone to a nice watch this year, but you're stuck for ideas, make sure to have a look at Daniel Wellington's new Dapper Collection, as it is absolutely gorgeous! They also offer gift wrapping for an extra luxe feel.

Christmas with NEOM Organics

Neom Organics is definitely my favourite home fragrance brand, especially when it comes to Christmas scents. Their Christmas Wish candle is my must have for the festive period and this year it comes in even more beautiful packaging.

Makeup Revolution Ultra Sculpt & Blend Collection review

How beautiful is the Makeup Revolution Ultra Sculpt & Blend Collection* (£14.99)? MR recently launched lots of various brushes, including this gorgeous and affordable rose gold set and I couldn't be more excited to add it to my brush collection.

Benefit They're Real Tinted Primer Review

Who doesn't love a new Benefit release. right? They seem to get it right most of the time, so I was very excited to try their new They're Real Tinted Primer* (£18.50). It's They're Real Mascara's new partner in 'prime' and it is a fab product!

Bravado Body Silk Seamless Nursing Bras

When you're breastfeeding, you can never have enough nursing bras. I have 6 and I could probably do with some more, haha :) I've tried many different designs, but my favourite ones are the two Bravado Body Silk Seamless bras*.

Doona Accessories

As soon as I received my beautiful Doona* (review here), I had to make sure I had a matching changing bag for it. I was torn between the big All Day Bag and the Essentials Bag, but I eventually settled on the latter and ordered it from Argos. I was also kindly sent some other accessories for the Doona, so let me tell you more about them.

Pur Minerals Secret Crush Palette, Vixen Mascara & Double Ended Liner

I mentioned the Pur Minerals Secret Crush palette on my instagram a couple of times, but I am finally getting round to reviewing it. I also got a chance to try the Vixen Mascara and Double Ego Liner and I am really impressed with the quality.

My Little Creative Box (October 2015)

I love being creative, so this month's My Little (Creative) Box* sounded right up my street. It is amazing content wise, but I am not sure where the creativity is to be honest as the items are just regular beauty and lifestyle additions.

Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette Review & Swatches

It's finally time to tell you what I think of the Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette* (£38.00). It has been one of the biggest makeup launches (if not the biggest) of the year and everyone seems to be obsessed with it. It sold out in the US within minutes after the launch and it took the UK by storm too! Crazy, right? Well, that's what happens when UD releases a new Naked palette :)

Weekend Activities For Relaxing

Spending your weekend lying around on the sofa can sometimes be fulfilling; however, it is better to spend your weekend pursuing certain relaxation activities so that you can fully unwind and reset. Here are some ideas for weekend activities that will help you relax.

Clarisonic Pedi System Review

My feet are one of my most hated body parts... Right after my post double c-section belly. That's why I couldn't wait to give the Clarisonic Pedi System* (£175.00) a go to sort my feet out. Seriously... they needed a lot of TLC after being neglected for months due to being heavily pregnant and then having a c-section and a super demanding baby!

Makeup Storage: Her ClutterBox

I am hoarder, but I like to keep my stuff organised. My husband calls it an 'oraganised mess', haha :) I keep most of my makeup in my Ikea units, but I also like having some of it in clear acrylic drawers. I have been eyeing up a big set for ages, so I was absolutely delighted when Her ClutterBox kindly sent me one. Ahhh, only a beauty junkie will understand my excitement :)

Having a tasty dessert occasionally is a great way to round off a hearty meal. Whether frozen, sweet, or crunchy, treating your palate to interesting desserts can be very satisfying. One fun fact about desserts is that ice cream makes up 23% of frozen desserts in the UK. However, even your favourite ice cream can start get boring sometimes, giving you nothing to look forward to. So this post will shed some light on how to vary your desserts to elevate your culinary experience.

Personalised storage bag from My 1st Years

If you follow me on instagram, you will know that I am a huge fan of My 1st Years, who offer the most beautiful personalised baby items. From decor and toys, to babygrows, bibs and keepsakes. I placed many orders with My 1st Years in the past and they recently kindly asked, if I would like to review something on the blog. I've had my eye on the Personalised Grey Star Storage Bag* (£40.00) for ages, so it was one of my top choices.

Deborah Lippmann Autumn 2015 ROAR Collection

I adore Deborah Lippmann nail polishes. The formula is to die for and the colours are always stunning. I've been a DL fan for years and I still remember my first DL purchase- Mermaid's Dream - sooo, sooo gorgeous! And worth every penny too! The newest releases from the Roar Collection* are very Autumn appropriate and I simply fell in love with them.

Good photography is mostly about lighting. Whether you’re taking a selfie, a portrait of someone else or a stunning shot of a landscape, it’s important to consider where the lighting is and the lighting levels. This post explains a few beginner tips to help you get the best lighting in photos.

Opera Outfit (Carmen)

My husband and I were kindly invited by Scottish Opera to see Carmen at Theatre Royal Glasgow last night and I thought I would show you what I wore for the occasion and tell you a little bit about the evening. I wasn't sure about the dress code, but I decided to go for something elegant, yet comfortable :)

How to Get Your Home Cosy in Time for Winter

Pretty much everyone loves the warmth and light that the summer brings. Then there’s the pumpkin spiced lattes and sweater weather to look forward to in autumn. But there’s no denying that there’s something really magical about the winter. The excitement of Christmas, all the cheer and goodwill are just some of the reasons people love winter. However, one of the very best parts of the season is the cosiness.

SnüzPod 3 in 1 bedside crib review.

With babies being the most demanding little creatures on earth, every little helps. From bouncy chairs and swings to bedside cribs. I am so glad these became available, as they make life of a new mum so much easier. There aren't many bedside cribs to choose from to be honest, but I've loved the look and the idea of the beautiful SnüzPod* since the moment I first discovered it during my pregnancy.

Breastfeeding: Q&A with Medela's Lactation Consultant

As promised, I am continuing my breastfeeding series and today I have a Q&A with Medela's Lactation Consultant Sioned. I asked her some questions about combination feeding, increasing your milk supply and advice for the early days of breastfeeding. I hope you enjoy it.

Fashion Tips that will Help you Improve your Style

Do you feel as though your fashion game has been lacking lately? Maybe you want to improve the way you look but just don’t know where to start. Either way, this is the guide for you.

NEW! Bourjois A/W 2015

I mentioned the new Bourjois launches on Instagram a couple of times and I was hoping to have the time to swatch them all for you, hence why I waited so long with this post. I did manage to swatch the lipsticks and one of the foundations, but the 2 month old dictator I gave birth to recently didn't let me finish, haha :) I hope you can forgive me this time. It's funny how a 4 year old and a newborn run my schedule these days. I will update the rest of the swatches when I can. Now let's talk about the gorgeous products!

Doona Car Seat/Stroller review

When it comes to reviews, I always try to find pros and cons and I also try not too come across as an overexcited toddler, haha :) But... with the Doona infant car seat/pushchair*, I just want to scream: OMG! I LOVE IT! Everyone needs one! What is this magic and why didn't I have one for Zachary? Seriously - it is life changing and I am not exaggerating! Just have a look at the gif below and if you are a parent, you will know what I mean.

My 5 Product Face

I very rarely have time to do a full face of makeup these days, but I became a pro at doing my makeup in the car, really quickly. I usually go for only 5 products and keep it very simple. I used to be the kind of person who doesn't leave the house without a smokey eye, so it's a big change, but I am now used to looking more natural.

Casual OOTD

Outfit posts are very rare on this blog, although I have tried to make them a regular feature many times. I used to do Fashion Mondays, but with the baby and lots of other things happening, I can't really commit to anything 100%. But... here is a simple casual OOTD I managed to photograph last weekend.

My Little Fashion Box (September 2015)

I don't usually keep up with fashion trends, so the full Fashion Week craze doesn't interest me, but I absolutely adore the Fashion themed My Little Box*. You don't really have to be fashionable to enjoy the contents to be honest, as the box is just lovely!

Vichy Normaderm BB Clear

Some of my favourite bases are aimed at oily and/or imperfection prone skin, just like the new Vichy Normaderm BB Clear Unifying Corrective Cream* (£16.00), so I was excited to give this one a go.

New In: Skincare & Bodycare

I can't remember the last time I wrote about skincare and bodycare. It's been a long time and to be honest, I very rarely have 'me time' lately and pampering became a real luxury. I became the queen of multitasking. Breastfeeding, replying to emails with one hand and eating my dinner in between sentences. It's ridiculous, haha! Anyway... Here are some lovely skincare and bodycare bits I wanted to show you.

Breastfeeding: My story with Zachary

Breastfeeding my children was the only option I have ever considered and I assumed that it would just happen and that I won't have any problems. Well... I was wrong... I have been meaning two write about my breastfeeding journey with Zachary for absolute ages, but I have been putting it off for years. Yes... YEARS! I waited so long, that I now have another baby and a totally different, yet similar breastfeeding story to talk about, but... better late than never!

Latest In Beauty Glamour Beauty Power List 2015 Box

I love Latest in Beauty & Glamour Magazine collaborations. The boxes are always packed with amazing products and the value for money is incredible. The Glamour Beauty Power List 2015 Box* is no different and I can't wait to show you what's inside.

Mia's DIY newborn photoshoot

I have always loved photography, so DIY newborn photoshoots were on the cards with both of my babies :) Plus... it saved me some pennies too. If you have a digital SLR, or even an normal digital camera or and iPhone and the most simple editing software (optional), you can do it yourself!

Frugi Breastfeeding Waterfall Cardigan Review

When it comes to breastfeeding, it is totally hassle free in regards of 'prep'. No bottles, no sterilising, no formula etc. It does require slight adjustments in the wardrobe department though, but thankfully you don't have to spend a fortune. Investing in a couple of good quality key pieces is all you need and this lovely waterfall cardigan by Frugi* (£55.00) is a great start.
