Chambray Skater Dress, Leopard Print and Foxes

When it comes to dresses, my favourite style is the skater type. I just love the cut and it really suits my figure.
I found this beautiful Chambray Skater Dress with black mesh detail for only £25 and I fell in love with it. It is perfect!
You might know that I love denim dresses and that I wear them quite often :) You can see me wearing one in my previous post here. Another thing I love is... leopard print. I know that it isn't everybody's cup of tea, but I think that if you style it right, it can look lovely. I remember mentioning a leopard print coat to my husband in the past and he said that if I buy one, he will burn it or divorce me :) haha. Hilarious!

A pastel dream with a touch of gold and marshmallows

Hi everyone. Since, many of you love my photos and keep complimenting on them,  I decided to share more photography on my blog :) I still want to keep it beauty related, so I prepared a NOTD post, but in a totally different set up.
I hope you like it.  I will try to challenge myself to come up with new photography ideas for each manicure post.

Sneak peek of my dressing room / Jewellery Storage Ideas and some news

Hi everyone! I was planning to add this post in the morning, but my internet connection wasn't working :/
We are having some issues with the modem again. Anyway...
I hope you are having a lovely weekend. I just came back from a  long walk with my baby boy and my sister. The weather is beautiful and I am really enjoying the sunshine and fresh air.

Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paints

I finally got my hands on some of the new Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paints. I checked my Boots card balance and I had over £15 on it!!! I have been buying all baby essentials there to collect points and treat myself at the end of the month.
We are allowed to use Store points on the spending ban after all :)

Spring/Summer 2013 Gladiator Sandal Trend

I must admit, I've always been a big fan of gladiator sandals. That's why I was extremely happy to see that they are a strong trend for Spring/Summer 2013. The possibilities are endless and the designs presented on the runaways recently are absolutely beautiful! My favourite pair is by Altuzarra and I wish I had slim, long legs and  a healthy bank balance to be able to wear them :) They cots nearly £ 2000.

Etude House Lovely Cookie Blusher in Raspberry Tarte

Etude House Lovely Cookie Blusher in Raspberry Tarte

I mentioned in my Valentine's Day Photo Diary post that I got more Korean products from my husband the next day. They arrived late, but I was very happy to receive them :)

One of the gifts was the Etude House  Lovely Cookie Blusher in Raspberry Tarte.
It is such a gorgeous shade- a bright fuchsia pink with delicate shimmer. It is highly pigmented and blends beautifully. You can see the colour payoff in the swatch below. It looks quite scary on the puff, doesn't it?

A Classic Holiday Look

I always struggle to find comfortable and flattering swimwear, but I think that I finally have a solution. I found some gorgeous swimdresses for women  and I can't believe now that I didn’t think about getting a couple of them last summer.

The polka dot swim dress I found is from Bonmarché, the UK’s largest womenswear value retailer catering for women over 50 years. You might ask... why is a 25 year old looking at a website aimed at more mature ladies? Well... finding clothes and swimwear isn’t that easy when you are a size 20 as I am at the moment.

"London’s biggest fashion and style extravaganza, the first 2013 London Fashion Week is over. It was a chance for the world’s best designers and up-and-coming stylists to showcase their work, what you don’t see are the people backstage frantically caring for the clothes, ironing and making last minute alterations.

Topshop bargain- Louise Gray Wave Machine Eye Cream Duo

"Cream eyeshadows. Blend onto eyelid. Build for more dramatic colour."

Ok, so I ordered this bargain from Topshop during my spending ban, but it was reduced to £1, so I just couldn't resist it. They had free delivery that day  as well :) Bargain! This duo is from the Louise Gray collection and the packaging really caught my eye. I've heard from other bloggers that the full Louise Gray range is reduced to £1-£3 in Topshop at the moment, so make sure to check it out if you get a chance.

More Bourjois Rouge Edition Lipsticks

Neom Contentment Candle review

"Contentment: A familiar blackcurrant scent that in fact comes from part of the fragrant South African buchu plant. This is combined with spicy nutmeg and warming ginger that works in rain or shine to make you feel simply content.A moment of contentment, of something that feels familiar and reassuring. A comforting scent to surround yourself with if you're feeling tired, overworked or just overawed. A scent that makes you feel you're home."

Simple eye makeup look with Wet n Wild Comfort Zone Palette

I like to keep my eye makeup simple most of the time and the Wet n Wild Comfort Zone palette is perfect  for it! I created this simple look, using three shades from the palette and it took me a couple of minutes.

Review: Liz Earle Signature Eye Colour in shade 14- Chestnut

"Create strikingly beautiful eyes. Our lightweight formula has a natural skin affinity, making it easy to blend for a smooth, even finish that stays true and lasts. Enriched with our own natural source vitamin E. Available in 20 shades."
I got this gorgeous eye shadow with my Glamour magazine subscription. Well... I got the subscription, especially to get two Liz Earle products :) It was such a bargain. You know how much I love Liz Earle skincare and makeup.

Etude House Princess Etoinette Crystal Shine Lipstick

"This smooth and creamy lips tick delivers a surge of moisture and a soft shimmering flush,
giving your lips a gorgeous, healthy look"

This lipstick is officially the most beautiful one in my collection! Forget YSL Rouge Volupte. The Etude House Etoinette Crystal Shine Lipstick is just gorgeous. It is a Korean product and it is available to buy from yesstyle.com or ebay. I got mine as a present for Valentine's Day and I am in love with it.  I also got the Etoinette blusher and I will be reviewing it soon too.

Urban Decay Naked Skin Beauty Balm Review

I've never tried an Urban Decay base, so I was very excited to give the Naked Skin Beauty Balm a go. I like the packaging and it reminds me of the Naked Basics palette. It comes in a 35ml tube and it is easy to use. It is designed for "zero rub-off" and to create an illusion of being invisible on the skin.  It also claims to "give you a natural naked-looking skin that keeps getting better every week". I am not sure about that yet, because I have been using it for just over a week.

FOTD: Full Coverage and minimal eye makeup

I know, I know... Another neutral look... I apologize, but I really wanted to mention my Holy Grail Full Coverage Foundation. I can't imagine my life without it! It is the amazing Vichy Dermablend!!! I have been using it for over 6 years and it always saves me when I have problems with nasty breakouts. It gives the best coverage I could ask for and it is just incredible. I will dedicate a full review to it soon (and the Vichy Dermablend powder), but today you can see a little preview of the product on my face. Due to lots of stress, I got a new wave of breakouts on my neck and jawline again and it is driving me crazy!!! Without this corrective foundation I wouldn't be able to go out of the house. If you suffer from acne- you will LOVE it and it will change your life. It covers everything, without clogging your pores and looking cakey!

Korres Lip Butters: Wild Rose, Guava and Mango

Korres Lip Butters / Wild Rose, Mango, Guava  £6-£7 via www.feelunique.com

"A buttery lip balm that melts on the lips and offers a shiny, tinted finish. The combination of Shea butter and Rice wax offers deep hydration and softness. Ideal for chapped lips."

I adore Korres lip butters and they quickly became my favourite lip balms. I love everything about them!
I actually reviewed the Mango one previously, but I wanted to share my little "collection" with you and swatched them all as well :) Let's start with the packaging. It is very simple and every pot has a different lid colour to match the shade of the lip butter inside :)  It really helps if you have more than one.

It is now time to introduce you to my lovely February advertisers :)

The easiest way of removing glitter nail polish - Innisfree Peel Off Base Coat Review

I love glitter on my nails, but I really can't be bothered with removing it. It is so much hassle! I actually stopped using glitter nail polishes, until I read Amelia's post about the Innisfree Peel Off Base Coat. She has a little shop (here) with loads of Korean Beauty products and stunning jewellery and that's where I bought the Innisfree Base Coat from. It arrived really quickly, wrapped in gorgeous paper, with a cute note inside :) I also have to mention, that Amelia has a fabulous blog and if you are not following it already, you will fall in love! I promise!

Photo diary: Valentine's Day Pretties :)

Hi everyone!  It is never to late to share some pretty pictures. I took all of them on Valentine's Day.
You might have seen some snaps of all the gorgeous presents I received on Instagram and Vine.
It was a lovely day. I got beautiful flowers, chocolates and loads of makeup I have been dreaming about, including a Chanel blusher, Etude House blusher and lipstick and a YSL lipstick.

Nude and elegant :)

I wasn't sure about the title of this post, but I might get some serious traffic thanks to it :) haha. I love nude nail polish, I love nude shoes and accessories and I am always trying to add more nude pieces to my wardrobe.
It is such an elegant colour and perfect for any occasion.

Red accents

Hi everyone.
I hope you are having a great weekend. I promised to add more OOTD posts and to be honest, I really enjoy preparing them. Let me know if you want it to become a regular weekend thing :)
I based the outfit around the red Smile Tote bag*  from www.bagbooth.co.uk.
It is a bargain-only £25! Obviously, I wish I could own the Celine Smile Tote, but it ain't gonna happen :)

Rose Tea with Balance Me

I couldn't resist sharing some photos of this lovely little parcel from Balance Me, along with a quick review of the rose scented products I have been trying out. I would like to add that I am not a fan of ordinary biscuits, but the lip and lip balm shaped Biscuiteers ones were absolutely delicious!!! *orders more*.
I also really enjoyed the Rose Garden Tea by Twinings- yummy!

New Look Plus Size Picks + Accessories

When I pick my outfits, I always put comfort first. I hate feeling uncomfortable. That's why my wishlist always looks the same- jumpers, oversized tops and dresses, denim shirts, leggings.
If you had a chance to see any of my outfits, you will know that I live in massive jumpers :) haha

This spring, I am planning to experiment with colours and instead of getting a black jacket I will go for something different. I really like the Blue Boucle jacket and I am thinking about buying it. It looks smart but casual and I suppose that the shape would look flattering on me.

Lazy Sunday :)

Review: One of the best lip products ever - Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquer

"The intense rich colour of a lipstick, enhanced by a satin smooth shine. The earth-shattering lip lacquer from Rimmel London"

Another review of Rimmel Apocalips??? Sorry, It has to be done :) I really want to show you swatches of my favourite shades and apparently, many of you find my reviews very helpful and love seeing my photos of products and the way they look on the lips etc.

Naked 2 dupe (?) MUA Undress Me Too Palette + review

I should have seen this one coming :) haha.  MUA released a palette called Undress Me Too and it is a dupe for the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette. I am actually happy about that, because not everybody can afford the UD one for £36.00. The MUA dupe comes at a fraction of the price- a mere £4.

Knowing Your Limits Around The House: What To Do Vs. What To Outsource

Homeownership really is the grand badge of adulting, but it comes with its peculiar blend of joys and jitters. One day you’re basking in the glow of your very own wall paint choice, and the next, you’re staring down a plumbing issue that threatens to turn your basement into an indoor pool. The eternal question is: to DIY or not to DIY? This is the conundrum we tackle today.

Spring lingerie shopping

I mentioned before that I buy many new lingerie sets for every season. There is so many pretty designs out there and I just can't resist picking up some new pretty pieces. Designer Lingerie  is something every woman loves, isn't it? I also buy far too many pyjama sets and I should definitely sort out my little collection. My wardrobe is getting out of control! I think that replacing  older sets with brand new ones is the answer :)

Review: Aromatherapy Associates Deep Cleanse Face Mask

"A treatment mask to draw out impurities, and refresh and revitalise your complexion. Particularly effective for deep cleansing the pores, anti-bacterial lavender and ginger are combined with natural clay and silt to absorb excess oils and replenish vital minerals. "

NYX makeup

Hi everyone.
I received a couple of NYX products from 123hairandbeauty.co.uk  recently and I have been experimenting with the glitter cream palettes quite a lot. I created an extremely glittery look to show you the colour payoff  of the creams, but... I have been adding a touch of glitter to most of my makeup looks for an extra bit sparkle as well.

Bourjois Total Look

Hi everyone. You all know how much I love Bourjois, right? Well... It turns out that I have just the right amount (and more) of Bourjois products to create a total makeup look, without reaching for other brands :)
I went through my makeup stash and got all the bits together when I was swatching the Aristo Clash Collection, so you might have seen a sneak peek of the eye makeup look already.
