Purple Smokey Eye with Urban Decay Vice 2 Palette

As promised, here is another look created with the Urban Decay Vice 2 Palette*. This time, it is a dramatic, purple/violet smokey eye. It is one of my favourite makeup looks and I wear it quite often. I am hoping to improve my blending skills with my new MAC 217 brush in the future, but this look was created before I got it :)

Christmas Gift Idea: Aromatherapy Associates Ultimate Bath & Shower Collection

When it comes to bath and shower oils, Aromatherapy Associates are my favourite brand. I am obsessed with their Revive and De-Stress ranges and I can't imagine coping with anxiety and stress without them. They definitely make a difference and work wonders at making me feel relaxed.

Guerlain Terracotta Terra Nerolia Bronzer Review

First of all, let's take a minute to appreciate the design of this beautiful bronzer. It is absolutely stunning! It took me a while to actually start using it properly, because I didn't want to ruin the embossed pattern with gorgeous gold shimmer :) If you are not a fan of shimmer, don't worry- it is just a thin overlay and it will come off with the first 2-3 uses. The rest of the bronzer is matte and it adds a gorgeous glow to the skin.

Superfoods and healthy options for chocoholics

I was recently sent a lovely parcel full of healthy and yummy treats and I am very excited to share my thoughts with you. As a chocoholic, I always crave chocolate, but I do my best to avoid eating unnecessary, processed sugar. I personally prefer the taste of healthy, raw chocolate, but I struggle to find it in supermarkets. That's why I love online stores. They offer a big choice of products and you can get really good deals, if you are willing to spend some time comparing prices etc.

Recipe: Healthy Two Ingredient Banana Pancakes

I always get asked about the recipe for my healthy/clean pancakes and believe me... they couldn't be easier to make. The only ingredients you will need for the actual pancakes are bananas and eggs and you can add your choice of toppings or experiment with the batter.

Karla Powell Face Charts

I have always been intrigued by makeup face charts and I must admit- I have seen some amazing creations on instagram and twitter. Makeup artists create real masterpieces with these and I would be happy to frame some of the charts I have seen and display them on my wall. My attempts at creating something that resembles an actual face were miserable, but I really enjoyed playing with makeup and you can see the final look I created on the photo below :)

Pamper Night With St Grape Products + Giveaway

I love pampering and I can spend hours relaxing in the bath. That's why I couldn't say no, when I was asked if I would like to try out a selection of bath products from St Grape. They are a Canadian company, now available in UK and you can buy their products online. All the products are sulfate, petrochemical, silicone and paraben FREE and contain no artificial colours. They are also cruelty free!

YOU Beauty Advent Calendar

YOU Beauty Advent Calendar
YOU Beauty Advent Calendar

I totally agree with the statement, that the YOU Beauty Advent Calendar is 'the only thing better than chocolate this Christmas' :) haha. I am being a good girl though and I won't be opening mine until the 1st of December :) The calendar is worth over £240, which is insane (in a good way). Some of the brands featured in the calendar are: Caudalie, Dermalogica, Sisley, Stila, Leighton Denny, Balance Me, Aromatherapy Associates, Neom, Inika and more. The temptation of opening all the doors of the calendar right now is really strong, but I should be able to resist it :) If you want to see the contents of the calendar, they are all listed on the product page. I want to experience the surprise element, so I am avoiding reading spoiler posts :) Overall, I love the idea of beauty themed advent calendars and I know that I will be very excited to open each door on cold December mornings :)

iPad Mini and my favourite photo apps

As much as I love my iPad 4, I was super excited to finally get an iPad Mini. I think, that the big one is slightly too heavy and I don't really like using it in bed or on the go. It is simply too bulky. The mini one is much lighter and I am totally in love with it. The only bad thing about it is the lack of Retina Display, but it isn't a big issue. The display quality is amazing and the colours are very vibrant. I was  slightly worried that the screen will be too small for reading, but... the 7.9 inch display is perfect. I can read books without 'squinting my eyes' and the keyboard is big enough for my clumsy fingers :) I have been using my new iPad from Argos non stop, so I thought it would be a good idea to share some of my favourite photo apps with you.

5 Health Problems New Mothers Need To Look Out For

Many new mums are so focused on looking after their baby that they forget to look after themselves. Childbirth and looking after a newborn can take a toll on the body and mind, and it’s important to look out for warning signs of health problems so that you can treat them before they get too bad. Below are just some of the health problems to be wary of as a new mum.

ELF HAUL (with reviews)

I am pretty sure most of you placed a cheeky little ELF order, with their 50% discount code, to celebrate reaching 20 000 twitter followers. I couldn't resist getting a couple of bits and bobs half price :) I decided to order three of the powder blusher duos, a cream blush duo, a highlighter/blusher and a concealer. I am not entirely happy with all my purchases, but with the 50% discount, they were worth a try.

Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette

I apologize in advance, if you are sick of hearing about the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette, but... I was wondering how many of you will be purchasing it? As an Urban Decay addict, I have to say, that I need this gorgeous palette in my life and I think that the shades are  different enough to make me purchase it. The palette will be available in US this month and it will definitely launch in UK before Christmas. I am pretty sure that it will be the most popular makeup gift this year :)

Makeup Look: MAC Antiqued, Amber Lights, All That Glitters

I thought it was about time to feature a more wearable makeup look, created with my new MAC eye shadows. This time I chose Antiqued, Amber Lights and All That Glitters. They are all absolutely beautiful and go together really nicely. I wear this quick and easy look when I don't have a lot of time to do my makeup.

Neom Scents Of Christmas Gift Set

If I had to pick one thing I could treat every family member to this Christmas, it would be this gorgeous NEOM Scents Of Christmas Set*(£42.00). You really can't go wrong with it! It features three beautifully scented candles and comes in an elegant gift box. There is something for everyone and all three scents are perfect for the festive season.  I must admit, I started burning all of these already, because I couldn't wait till Christmas :)

In my online basket

There is so many beautiful things on my wishlist at the moment. I keep putting them in my Space NK and Cult Beauty baskets, but the reasonable part of me is telling me not to buy anything. Despite the fact, that I own enough makeup to last me and my family a lifetime, I know that I will end up purchasing most of these anyway :) haha. If I had to pick one thing from the list, I would probably go for the Anastasia Lavish Palette - the colours look incredible and all the mini extras make it an absolute bargain. I am also dying to try the Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer. Have you tried it? If so, is it worth the hype?  I linked all the products below:

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder Review (Luminous Light)

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder (Luminous Light) £38.00

I mentioned this beautiful powder in my October Favourites, but it really deserves a separate post! I am obsessed with it and I have been using it every single day since I got it. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder promises to make a true difference to your appearance and give a lovely, soft focus effect. There is 6 shades available and each one emulates a different flattering light source.  After many hours of online research, I decided to go for Lumionous Light and I must admit - it was a good choice.

Ebay Bargains: Statement Necklaces

I always insatgram pictures of my new necklaces and many of you ask me for links etc. To make your life easier, I decided to feature some of my recent finds and other beautiful designs I have my eye on. It is safe to say that statement necklaces are my addiction. Without further ado, here they are (links and prices included).

Sunday Manicure: Essie 'Some Like It Haute' Nail Stickers

I haven't mastered nail wrap application yet, but practise makes perfect and I am not planning to give up. I found these Essie 'Some Like It Haute' Nail Stickers while organising my nail polish drawers and I though I should give them a go, before the glue dries up. I got them in the Latest In Beauty Summer Nails Box a couple of months ago and totally forgot about them.

Subtle Golden Smokey Eye With A Pop Of Green - My Favourite Eye Makeup Look For Brown Eyes

I love adding a pop of colour to my eye makeup looks and you won't see me wearing subtle, neutral eye shadows every single day of the year. In my opinion, all the fun is in experimenting with new colour combinations and making them work for you! Thankfully, most shades go with brown eyes, but... my favourites are definitely gold and green. This makeup look will probably work for everyone though and you can always use a cooler shade of green, if you are not sure about my vibrant choice :)

Urban Decay Vice 2 Palette Review

I am pretty sure I mention it every time I review Urban Decay products, but... their eye shadows are the best on the market and I  adore them! I get a lot of use out of every UD palette I own, even the Book Of Shadows Vol II, purchased over 4 years ago. Believe it or not, but all the shades are still creamy and super pigmented!

The new Vice 2 Palette* (£42.00) features 20 new shades, all exclusive to this limited edition palette. You get a lot for your money and if you love Urban Decay- it is a bargain! The palette comes with a huge mirror inside (the biggest one I have seen so far) and a dual ended brush. I really like the purple packaging with a crystal UD logo. To open the palette, you simply push the long button on the front and the lid is released. Clever!

Kiko Colour Impact Eyeshadow Palette & Latex Like Lipstick

Last week two gorgeous Kiko products popped through  my letterbox and they already stole my heart. I love Kiko's baked blushers and nail polishes, but I was curious about the formula of their eye shadows, especially after seeing super pigmented swatches online. The limited edition Dark Heroine collection features many beautiful products, including lipsticks, eyeshadow palettes, highlighters, nail polishes and more. The products were released ages ago, but  you can still buy them  online and instore :)

October Favourites

My October favourites are a week late this time, but I couldn't wait to share my most loved skincare and makeup products :) I also decided to include some random favourites this month at the end of the post :) As usual, I have a lot to share, so let's get started.

A cute ebay find: Pink Eyelash Case

I have been looking for a cute eyelash case for ages, but there are really hard to find on ebay. I finally managed to get my mitts on this one, but unfortunately it isn't available as 'buy it now'. I had to bid on it and paid around £1.50 :) It is soooo cute! I can finally store my favourite lashes somewhere, instead of sticking them to something random, like a compact or an eyeshadow palette :) haha.

Cargo Contour Palette Review - Malibu

Contouring my face is something I am still trying to master and for some reason it is my favourite part of doing my makeup :) I developed an obsession with highlighters and I adore many different ones, but... finding the right contour colour is a struggle. I know that most girls use their normal bronzer to define cheekbones (I do it too), but makeup artists recommend using something with less orange hues, preferably with grey undertones. If you find the  'contour and highlight' thing confusing, I have a fool-proof solution for you! The Cargo Contour Palette is a godsend and offers perfect colours to help you  create gorgeous cheekbones and add dimension to your face in three easy steps.

NARS At First Sight Palette (review, swatches, makeup look)

I have been lusting after a NARS palette for ages, so it was the first item I placed in my asos basket, after I won a gift voucher on Sarah's blog. I was sooooo excited! The limited edition 'At First Sight' Eye & Cheek Palette by NARS includes four eyeshadows, a blush and a bronzer and it would be a perfect way to start your adventure with NARS products. I own a couple of things from NARS and I really like them, so it was a matter of time before I got one of their lovely palettes.

Sunday Manicure: Etude House Minnie Mouse Top Coats

I couldn't resist ordering some Minnie Top Coats from Etude House a couple of weeks ago and I must admit- they are as cute as I imagined them to be :) I ordered two variations - Minnie White Face and Minnie Pink Ribbon (approx. £3.50 each). They both look totally different in the bottle, but once applied over the same nail colour, they look quite similar.

Guest Post: Make-up Tips When Out Past Midnight

What's on my face #1

I quite like the idea of 'What's On My Face' posts so I thought I should start sharing my favourite makeup products weekly. I reviewed some of the products featured in this post already, but you can expect full reviews of the other bits next week :)

Budget Buy: MUA Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighter

I have been trying to get my mitts on the MUA Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighter for absolute ages, but it was sold out everywhere for a couple of months! Crazy! I made sure to sign up to Superdrug's notifications though, to let me know when it is back in stock and as soon as I got the email, I ordered... THREE of them :) haha.
