Daniel Wellington His & Hers Watches + discount code

I featured Daniel Wellington watches on the blog a couple of times and me and my husband already have matching ones (see here), but none of them have silver hardware. That's why I opted for a classic black an silver design this time.

1 month baby & mummy update

Hi everyone. It's been a while since I last posted, but it has been a crazy couple of weeks and I am still adjusting to life with 2 kids. Between breastfeeding, pumping milk, topping up with formula, changing nappies, looking after my toddler, doing housework, cooking, replying to emails and spamming everyone with pictures of Mia on instagram, I end up having no time and energy left for my blog. I consider my blog my 3rd baby, so I have to find time for it pronto! I miss is as well, so it's not going to be forced, don't worry :) I am just very relaxed about it at the moment. Although... my 'to blog' product pile is getting out of control.

My Little Road Trip Box

Another fabulous selection of goodies by My Little Box, this time with a Road Trip theme. I am seriously late with this review (the next box actually arrived today!), due to the unexpected arrival of my little daughter, followed by severe baby brain and lack of sleep, but hey... better late than never, eh?

Fashion: Wooden JORD Dover Watch.

My evergrowing watch collection has a new member and it is possibly the most interesting design yet. It's the stunning JORD Dover Watch in Zebrawood & Cream* ($295). I just can't stop looking at it and I ordered a slightly bigger size to be able to share it with my husband (I always do this).

My baby girl is here!

Yep! I had my baby at 35 weeks! She just couldn't wait to be here :) If you follow me on instagram, you will know that I was admitted to the hospital on my 28th birthday (15.07), because I started bleeding all of a sudden.

Pregnancy Update: 34 weeks and lots of complications

I seriously wasn't expecting this, but... things got a bit complicated and I have been in and out of hospital for the past week or so. Oh... Where do I even begin? I am sooo upset and exhausted, I feel like I can't cope with this pregnancy anymore, but hey... fingers crossed it all goes well despite complications.

Nanshy Gobsmack Glamorous White Brush Set

With so many brands on the market, it is hard to try every single one, but I am glad that I finally got my mitts on this gorgeous Nanshy Gobsmack Glamorous White Brush Set* (£34.95). I've read many rave reviews of their brushes and I must agree - they really are fantastic! If you are looking for good quality, cruelty free, vegan and PETA approved brushes- these tick all the boxes.

My Little French Riviera Box

I am a bit late with this review, but I know that some people still haven't received their June box, which is a bit odd. Apparently MLB had a glitch last month, so no need to panic. I am sure they will sort things out with each customer. This months theme is 'French Riviera' curated by an interior designer Sarah Lavoine and it is right up my street.

New Makeup Brand Alert: Bagsy

Who doesn't love a quirky new makeup brand, eh? I am a sucker for pretty packaging and handbag friendly pieces, so Bagsy is right up my street. All of the products are absolutely fuss free and easy to use and I am really impressed with the quality and formulas. Here's a little selection of Bagsy's offerings. Warning - some might be too cute to resist :)

Why a Weekend in Newcastle is Worth Your Time

Pexels - CCO Licence

Newcastle might not be the first place you think of when you are looking to go away for the weekend, but it is definitely a place you should consider. From its world-class art galleries to its historic landmarks, the bustling city of Newcastle-upon-Tyne offers a plethora of unique experiences that make it an irresistible weekend destination. Let's take a glimpse into the charm of this vibrant city and uncover why a weekend in Newcastle is well worth your time.

Ray-Ban Aviators (+Ray-Ban Junior Giveaway)

I have some cheap aviators in my collection, but I have always wanted a pair of  proper Ray-Ban ones with gold frames and brown lenses. Well... my dream came true, as I was kindly offered a pair recently and I am in love! Let me tell you why...

Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm

With plenty of cleansers in my stash (some with a Holy Grail status), it took me a while to finally give Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm* a go. Why, oh why did I wait soooo long to try it? It is blooming AMAZING!

Marc Jacobs Fragrance Set (+discount code)

I have a lovely collection of full size Marc Jacobs fragrances, but I have always wanted to add some of the adorable minis to my stash. They are simply too cute to resist. I opted for the Fragrance Set*(£33.00) with DOT, Oh Lola (two that I haven't tried before), Daisy and Daisy Eau So Fresh, but there are other options available as well.

Foreo Luna Mini Save The Sea Special Edition

I am a big fan of the original Foreo Luna, so I was very excited to try the mini version. This aqua blue beauty is the Foreo LUNA Mini Save The Sea Special Edition*(£99.00), launched to support a campaign that raises the awareness and funds to help protect and preserve our oceans. Amazing!

Affordable skincare at Boots

I am not a 'skincare snob' and before I started my blog, most of the products I used were from Boots own offerings, mostly the Botanics range. It's all about finding what's best for you and your skin type. I also rely on Boots when I have to restock my husbands skincare supplies, because he just slathers everything on like there is no tomorrow :) haha.

Pregnancy update (32 weeks) & Baby Girl Haul

I am 32 weeks pregnant and I am soooo ready to have this baby! Seriously... My bump is out of control and it is making me super uncomfortable, especially at night time. The only thing I can do to feel more human is to take a mid-day nap, but it's not always possible. It's not all bad though :)

Bourjois Summer 2015

Summer wouldn't be complete without beautiful new makeup collections and the new releases by Bourjois are to die for! From light gel blushers to subtle glosses and pastel nail polishes, they have all your Summer must-haves covered.

Some of my pregnancy essentials

Pregnancy is usually a really lovely and magical time, but at some point everyone becomes a bit uncomfortable with their growing bump or experiences typical pregnancy symptoms. Here are some items that are making the final weeks a little bit easier for me.

Factors To Think About Before Embarking On Parenthood

https://unsplash.com/photos/giijfNulwxk

Parenthood is a special part of life and something that many of us look forward to. You'll rarely hear anybody say they regret having kids, and it's something that makes many families feel complete. After all, creating offspring is the one thing that we were put on the earth to do as humans. The rest is entirely open to interpretation. If you have been together with your partner for a while and you are thinking about trying for a baby, then there's a lot of things to take into consideration.

Summer Nails with Essence Gel Nail Polishes

This awesome delivery from Essence simply blew my mind and I am now 100% sorted in the nail polish department :)  Not like I needed anymore nail polish (I have a ridiculous collection already), but... the gel formula sounded promising so I had to give it a go. I must admit - swatching over 40 polishes requires real dedication, but it was also very relaxing so it's all good :)

Freedom Makeup

There is a new budget makeup brand on the market - Freedom Makeup London. The packaging might look similar to you. It's because it was created by the team behind Makeup Revolution.  I was kindly sent a selection of products to try out by Beauty Crowd, who are Freedom's stockists and I have a first impressions post to share with you today :)

More Father's Day Gift Ideas

I was only planning one Father's Day themed blog post this year, but I have more gift ideas to share with you, including a couple of typical 'dad favourites'.

Benefit Operation Pore-Proof Kit

If you follow me on instagram, you might have seen lots of photos of the lovely new Benefit Operation Pore-Proof Kit*(£28.50) already. It is such a fab little set! It's not officially launching till the end of June, but... you can now buy it exclusively from John Lewis!

Pregnancy update: 30 weeks

There was nothing interesting happening for the past couple of weeks, so I waited till my recent growth scan to update you on the pregnancy. I am actually surprised that I didn't get any extra scans in my 1st pregnancy, because I was measuring huge for dates and my private scan predicted a 9lb+ baby. Anyway... At least I know what to expect this time.

My Top 3 Summer Scents

My fragrance collection is out of control and I find myself switching between scents quite often, although... I still have my favourites that I use more than others. Gone are the days of being faithful to Flower By Kenzo :) haha. Here is my 'top 3' at the moment.

Father's Day Gift Ideas

With Father's Day just around the corner, I thought I should share some gift ideas with you. It's funny how we always joke about buying socks etc for every man in our life, but to be perfectly honest... they usually rely on us in this department and actually expect those little extras for every occasion :) haha. T-shirts, boxers, a bottle of their favourite aftershave or drink etc - these are always appreciated, aren't they? Here are my picks for this year.

Real Techniques Bold Metals 300 Tapered Blush Brush

I am a massive fan of Real Techniques brushes and I use their standard range every time I do my makeup. Easily the best brushes on the market. The latest addition to the RT brush family is the luxury Bold Metals collection and it is simply stunning! More on the pricey side, but the quality is insanely good (judging by the blush brush).

How I deal with dehydration

Sometimes my skin goes a bit wild, especially during pregnancy. I try to drink as much water as I can and follow a good skincare routine, but I can't predict how my body will cope with certain things. I have been feeling quite dehydrated lately and here are the products I have been using to keep my skin happy.

Makeup Revolution Mermaids Forever Palette

I am a bit of an eye shadow palette hoarder (ok, it's extreme, I have a full drawer of them), but... I get excited about every new addition to my collection. When it comes to eye shadows (and most makeup), please don't ever think that cheap products are all bad quality etc. They can be just as good, or even better than some high end equivalents. The new Mermaids Forever Palette* by Makeup Revolution is a perfect example of a fantastic product at a low price and I am in love with all the stunning colours!

NEW! Benefit Porefessional License To Blot

There is a new addition to the Benefit Porefessional family - License To Blot*, an instant oil-blotting stick. I am a big fan of the Porefessional primer, so I couldn't wait to give this new interesting product a go. How does it work?

My everyday makeup routine (video).

I wasn't sure if I should add my first ever 'get ready with me' video, but hey... I have been meaning to do it for over 2 years now, so I am not going to wait any longer. No, it's not a chatty tutorial, but I am anxious putting it out there anyway. This look is my 'everyday face' at the moment, so I though it would be fun to film it.

Roger & Gallet Fleur de Figuier EDP

I must admit - the new Roger & Gallet Fleur de Figuier EDP* arrived in style. One of the nicest deliveries I have ever received, complete with yummy macaroons, a personalised champagne flute, a scented candle and a mini bottle of bubbly. So thoughtful!

How To Relax After A Busy Day At Work

If you find you come home from work feeling worried and stressed, you’re not alone. However work stress isn’t just an inconvenience, it can also leave you with short and long term health conditions if you don’t deal with it properly. So many people are experiencing stress related conditions such as high-blood pressure, anxiety and digestive problems. In this article we take a look at some top tips for helping you to relax after a busy day at work and make your stress more manageable.

My simple hair styling routine + new tools

I don't use heat on my hair too often, but when I do, I always opt for soft curls. My hair is naturally poker straight and I am not a fan of that look, so I add some movement to it once a week. I don't know why, but it makes me feel much more feminine and confident.

Dior Tie Dye Collection

When I first saw the images of Dior's Tie Dye Collection, I couldn't stop staring at the beautiful blushers. I am sure I wasn't the only one, haha :) They are stunning! The collection also features beautiful lipsticks, nails polishes, khol pens, an eyeshadow palette and more, to help you create a perfect Summer look.

New online shopping destination: myDermacenter

If you love French Pharmacy products, you will be delighted to know about the launch of myDermacenter - a new website stocking the largest range of La Roche-Posay, Vichy, Skinceuticals and Roger&Gallet. To celebrate the launch of this fab new online shopping destination , I have a 20% OFF code for my readers :)

Illamasqua To Be Alive Collection

Blue is quite a tricky colour when it comes to makeup, but... the two pieces I received from Illamasqua's To Be Alive Collection couldn't be easier to pull off - a gorgeous opalescent blue nail polish and a clear lipgloss with a bit of shimmer. Gorgeous!

Pur Minerals Pout Pens

I really like lip stains and I remember a time when the only thing I wore on my lips was Benetint, I went through so many bottles of that stuff! I also stained many tops with it, so a tint in a pen/marker format, like the Pur Minerals Pout Pen* (£14.00) is a godsend! I was kindly sent two shades to try out and I am in love!

Pregnancy update: 26 weeks

I wasn't going to write an update for this week, but I had a midwife appointment and an unplanned scan, so there is a lot to talk about and I like rambling about my pregnancy, haha :)  It's a long one, so grab a cuppa.

Bourjois La Laque Nail Polishes

Don't you love a good nail polish? The 'one coat wonder' type that dries pretty quickly and lasts well on the nails? Well... The new Bourjois La Laque Nail Varnishes* (£6.49) offer exactly that and they come in really cool packaging too. Like all Bourjois products, these are also very affordable and often on offer in Boots and Superdrug. Amazing!

Burberry Kisses Lipstick

I am pretty sure that everyone and their mother managed to get their hands on a free sample of the stunning Burberry Kisses Lip Colour back in March/April. It was possibly the best twitter campaign ever. I opted for a beautiful nude shade called Nude Pink (05) and I am in love!

Pregnancy update: 25 weeks

Oh wow, only 15 weeks left till my due date. I am not sure, if I am ready, haha :) Having a cheeky little toddler who loves crawling into our bed in the middle of the night isn't ideal when you have a newborn and it's something I am really worried about. I am also worried that I won't have enough milk for the baby, like the last time. Scared that I will end up having a c-section, scared of the pain etc.

My BAD experience with silicone lip enhancers

I am not going to lie... I love trying new beauty gadgets. That's why I was very intrigued by the cute little silicone lip enhancers. I have seen many reviews on blogs and youtube and they were very positive, so I thought I will try one of the little contraptions. Honestly, I was just curious. I have full lips naturally, but as a beauty blogger, I just love trying new things. Unfortunately... I didn't realise that I could bruise my face!

Exfoliating powders

Exfoliation is a big part of my skincare routine and there are many different product I use for this purpose. I like exfoliating toners, gentle scrubs, peels, masks etc, but I just love the velvety smooth feeling I can achieve after using an exfoliating powder. I've tried four different ones and to be perfectly honest, they are all fantastic!

Crownbrush Liquid Highlighters

I rave about Crownbrush Highlighters* a lot, but I haven't actually reviewed them properly on the blog. Not sure why, because I am absolutely obsessed with them!!! There are two shades available, but one of them became my Holy Grail and made me neglect my beloved theBalm Mary Lou Manizer :)

Logitech Ultrathin Magnetic Keyboard for iPad Mini

I don't get to review gadgets a lot, but I am all for it when I do have the opportunity to try something new. As a blogger and a photography enthusiast, I cannot live without my laptop, iPad, SLR, an array of memory cards and other bits and bobs. I was like that even before In started blogging. The item I am reviewing today is a Logitech Ultrathin Magnetic Clip-On Keyboard* for iPad Mini and iPad Mini with Retina Display and it is a nifty little gadget.

Illamasqua Precision Brow Gel in Stare

I have been faithful to the Anastasia Brow Wiz in Brunette for a really long time, but... there is something I have been enjoying even more lately and it is the Illamasqua Precision Brow Gel* (£18.50) in shade Stare. I think I actually prefer it to the Brow Wiz.
