Sunday Manicure: Deborah Lippmann Run, Run Rudolph

I picked up a couple of full size Deborah Lippmann Nail Polishes from TKmaxx recently and they were an absolute bargain. I got a set of three for £5 (without boxes)  and another set of three for £8 (boxed) I got two bottles of the orange and nude, so I might use them as stocking fillers or giveaway prizes :) Anyway... My favourite colour from the bunch is Run, Run Rudolf! It is a perfect festive red, with a little bit of sparkle and the name couldn't be more appropriate for a Christmas manicure :) I am sure it was part of last years Holiday Collection.

Christmas Yankee Candles

I burn candles nearly every day, especially during the colder months. I usually go for therapeutic scents from Neom or Aromatherapy Associates, but... I have some Yankee Candles and cheaper options in my stash too and burn them when my husband is home. He loves vanilla and cinnamon, so the two new additions to my collection have his approval :)

Debenhams Christmas Flowers

When it comes to flowers, I am usually obsessed with them in Spring/Summer and possibly Autumn, but for some reason I take a break from buying bouquets in Winter. I have no idea why, because as soon as this beautiful arrangement arrived at my doorstep, I felt the need to fill the full house with fresh flowers.

Luxury Christmas Gift Guide

Christmas is the perfect excuse to treat yourself and your loved ones to items normally considered quite pricey. I always feel super generous during the festive period and ...I also know that I can ask my husband for some more expensive treats :) My last gift guide features some fab ideas ranging from £30 to £150 and I hope you find it helpful.

Love Me Beauty Box - December

Love Me Beauty December Box* (£10.00 +P&P)

I love beauty boxes and Love Me Beauty is definitely my favourite. In December, I picked menu 1 and as usual, I am very pleased with the contents. There are 3 full size makeup products and two skincare samples in the box this month, most of them from brands I already know and like.

Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette (review + swatches)

Naked 3 is officially here (ink UK) and you can now buy it in store from House Of Fraser and place an order online tomorrow (Wednesday, 11.12). I received mine last weekend and I fell in love with all the gorgeous shades already. I have the original Naked and Naked 2, but the new one is definitely my favourite. It features 12 stunning neutral shades with pink and rose gold undertones. The colour selection is less varied than it was in the first two Naked palettes, but it makes it much more wearable for daytime.

Latest In Beauty Stocking #whatsinyourstocking

Latest In Beauty are currently running a fab offer in their sample shop, where you can create your perfect Christmas stocking packed with beauty treats of your choice. With every order of £10 or more, you get the stocking free and... once your stocking arrives, you can enter the #Whatsinyourstocking competition.

November Favourites

It is finally time to share my November/December favourites with you :) I have been trying out some new products, but I also rediscovered a couple of makeup gems in my  collection.

Sunday Manicure: Impress Press-On Nails

Impress Press-On Manicure

I found these in my Latest In Beauty Stocking* on Friday and I couldn't wait to give them a go. I have been meaning to buy a pack of Impress Nails since they launched, but they used to be quite expensive, so I quickly forgot about them :) The design I got is a bit crazy, but... I really like it.

WIN £500 worth of John Lewis vouchers with eHarmony

I am happily married, so dating is not my area of expertise anymore, but... getting dressed up is definitely something I love! I put together the outfit above as my perfect Christmas Party attire and I am pretty sure that it would make me feel amazing! Give your Christmas party outfit some extra sparkle with one of five John Lewis vouchers eHarmony is giving away to spread some Christmas cheer. (to enter, use the rafflecopter widget at the end of the post).

Home Cleaning: Best Ways To Clean Your Gas Hob

Gas hobs are timeless and add a lovely rustic feel to your kitchen. They also heat a lot faster than electric ones, so there are practical reasons to keep them! One of the key problems with a gas hob is figuring out how to clean it. From removing the racks, to trying to get rid of as much grime as possible.

Makeup Look: MAC Expensive Pink, Club and Nylon

I am still obsessed with my MAC palette and I try to create a nice variety of looks, instead of going for the same brown smoky eye every single day :) Obviously, there is nothing wrong with that,  but I simply want to get a lot of use out of all the individual eye shadows I picked for my palette. My favourite look so far must be the combination of Expensive Pink with Club and Nylon. I must admit, I wore it more than once, because it really suits my eye colour.

Here's a guide with some fantastic ideas that are sure to bring smiles and warmth to your family gatherings. So, grab a cup of hot chocolate, get cosy, and let's dive into these fun-filled activities!

Sigma Warm Neutrals Palette - Enlight Collection

Sigma Warm Neutrals Eye Shadow Palette* (£29.95)

I was lucky to receive this beautiful Sigma palette, before the official launch date and I must admit- I am really impressed with it! The Warm Neutrals palette is part of Sigma's new Enlight Collection and it will launch on the 9th of December in the UK. The collection also includes makeup brushes, lip glosses, cream eye shadow bases, blushers and eyeliners and it will be available from Beauty Chamber.

Fabulous Gifts between £15 and £30.

It's time for the second part of my Christmas Gift Guide, featuring presents in the £15-£30 category. There is something for everyone, including makeup, skincare, bodycare and aromatherapy.

Stocking Fillers and Gift Sets under £15

I am happy to report, that I have done most of my Christmas shopping already, but I know that many of you are still looking for stocking fillers and gift sets. This week, I will be sharing three gift guides, featuring a selection of items in three different price categories. I am starting with £15 and under :)

Fashion World Shapewear Challenge

I was recently asked by Fashion World , if I would like to take part in their 'Shapewear Challenge' and as someone who needs a little bit a lot of help with smoothing their body shape, I couldn't say no :) I must admit - if shapewear didn't exist, I wouldn't even consider wearing a bodycon dress, because I am very body/self conscious and I don't like my tummy area. Anyway...

Monochrome Manicure with Leighton Denny

This little set is an absolute bargain, especially for those who are looking for the perfect white nail polish or simply want to try the monochrome trend. For only £14.00 you get two full size Leighton Denny nail polishes - Pure Creation and Maneater - saving £8.00 in total. Pretty good deal in my opinion. The duo is my first experience with Leighton Denny  nail polishes and I must admit - I am really impressed.

Christmas with Bath & Unwind

Beauty gift sets are always my favourite presents and I can't imagine Christmas without buying them for my family or receiving a selection of beauty goodies myself. I was kindly sent a couple of beautiful sets from Bath & Unwind recently and I must admit- it felt like Christmas and I might have squealed when I opened the box :)

My favourite Autumn/Winter Blushers

I usually wear subtle colours on my cheeks, but my blusher collection includes many strong colours too and there is no better time to wear them than A/W. The only reason why I normally avoid darker colours is because I tend to overdo my blush and end up looking like a clown :) haha. It is easily fixed though. I have three favourites at the moment, all absolutely gorgeous and nicely pigmented.

The Urban Retreat Beautique Gift With Purchase

I do love a good Gift With Purchase Offer and I must admit - they simply keep getting better. If you are still looking for Christmas gifts (or want to treat yourself) and want to get the best deal, taking advantage of GWP events is the best idea. The Urban Retreat Beautique is launching their offer tomorrow (29th of November) and if you spend £150 online, you will receive over £110 worth of luxury treats, from skincare and haircare to high end makeup. The Urban Retreat Gift With Purchase contains:

Treating Yourself Right: The Art of Self-Gifting This Festive Season

Photo by Juliana Malta on Unsplash

As we head into the festive season, our minds often become consumed by lists of gifts to purchase for family and friends. But who says you can't treat yourself this year too? Give yourself something nice this time: embrace self-gifting this festive season as an act of gratitude. After all, you have done plenty to deserve this gesture, right?

Love Me Beauty Box - November

Love Me Beauty November Box*  (£10.00 + P&P)

Yes, LMB did it again! They did not disappoint and delivered yet another fabulous box! This time, the box included 6 products, instead of 5 due to quality issues in the previous box. I personally haven't had a problem with any of the contents, but some of the Lord & Berry makeup last month was dried up etc, so to make up for it - there is a free lipstick this month. It is good to know that the LMB team and the brands involved really care about their customers.

Real Techniques Sam's Picks Brush Set

'Sam's Picks' is a limited edition set featuring 6 brushes - five of them are already available to buy separately or in other sets and one is exclusive to this collection. I am a big fan of Real Techniques brushes, so I was very excited to try out a selection of Sam's favourites.

MAC 217 - worth the hype?

I have been thinking about buying the 217 brush for absolute ages, but paying £18.00 for an eye shadow brush seemed a bit extravagant. After some encouragement from fellow bloggers, I finally ordered it, taking advantage of a 10% off Debenhams offer. I only used 217 a couple of times, but I already know how I feel about it :) Soo... is it worth the hype?

Multitasking beauty products

I have many beauty products in my stash, but some of them deserve a special mention, due to their versatility. Who doesn't love a good 2 in 1 or 3 in 1 wonder? I definitely do, especially in terms of skincare. Balms are usually the best multitaskers, but I found some more gems too.

Highlighting Concealer Pens

Highlighting concealer pens are probably one of my favourite beauty inventions ever! They are super easy to use, perfect for a touch up on the go and totally hassle free. I have a nice selection of these in my makeup stash, from drugstore to high end. Most of them are 2 in 1 products and help to conceal and highlight at the same time. I really like the pens I have tried so far and I think that every girl needs at least one in her makeup bag.

All I want for Christmas is you :)

I tweeted about this AMAZING Urban Decay offering a while ago and I must admit... I was seriously considering saving all my pennies to buy this gigantic palette as a Christmas treat. Call me crazy... But I am obsessed with Urban Decay Eye Shadows. The price tag is really scary - £445 in Debenhams, or  $595 from Urban Decay Website, but... it would make me extremely happy.

Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick - Nude Delight

I don't own many Rimmel products, but their lip lacquers and waterproof eyeliners are simply amazing, so I decided to finally give the Moisture Renew Lipsticks a go. I went for a nude colour - Nude Delight, because I own too many pinks and reds already :) The formula of these is meant to be highly pigmented, very moisturising and long lasting. The lipsticks contain SPF 20 too, which is always a good thing.

Renovating and decorating a shower room

The shower room can be one of the toughest 'rooms' to decorate. You can either dismiss it as not being important enough to do much work on; or if you use it every day, you’ll want it to be as pleasant as possible. In a way, the smaller the room the more difficult it is to decorate. But there’s no need to feel defeated. Read on for some tips, that might work for you.

New additions to my MAC Palette: Contrast, Expensive Pink, Coppering, Lucky Green, Espresso and Satin Taupe

If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter, you will know that I have been buying lots of new MAC eye shadows. I really wanted to fill my palette as soon as possible, so I took advantage of the Debenhams 10% off deal and bagged myself over 1500 points on my Beauty Card too :) YAY! The shades I got are: Satin Taupe, Espresso, Expensive Pink, Coppering, Contrast and Lucky Green. I wanted a nice variety of colours and I must admit, I am very happy with all my choices.

NYX Born To Glow Liquid Illuminators

I am obsessed with highlighters, especially liquid ones and the NYX Born To Glow Liquid Illuminators are currently on the top of my list. If you don't feel like forking out £22.00 for the NARS Illuminators, you should give NYX a go. There are two shades available: Gleam and Sunbeam, both absolutely gorgeous.
