Guest Post: Autumn Ambience / A Little Boat Sailing

Hey everyone! My name is Amy and I'm so excited to be over here on Sandra's blog whilst she is away on her holiday. I'm kicking things off today with some of my favourite make up items for this coming autumn; I hope you enjoy.

Kylie Jenner Inspired Makeup Look / 90's Lip

No matter how hard we try, we can't really avoid reading about the Kardashians and seeing them in the media. They are absolutely everywhere and even someone like me, who couldn't care less about 'celebrities' gets a little bit of inspiration from them sometimes. After all, they are famous for their flawless makeup and I am a makeup addict. The latest Kardashian craze is the 'Kylie Jenner Lip' which is basically a 90's inspired nude lip. I gave it a go and  paired it with a very subtle brown and beige smokey eye, winged liner and big lashes.

August Favourites

I skipped a month in favourites, but I am back with some skincare, bodycare, makeup and fragrance gems I have been loving in August. Hide your bank cards, haha :)

DHC Premium Lipsticks

DHC Premium Lipsticks* (£13.00 each, currently £11.00)
I am absolutely obsessed with the DHC Cleansing Oil and I know that their skincare has many fans worldwide, but I didn't have a clue that they also do makeup. In fact, absolutely stunning makeup! Just look at those lippies! They are gorgeous!

Plus size gal wardrobe basics/essentials

I might wear dresses when I want to look girly etc, but most of the time I wear a 'mummy uniform' which consists of black leggings, a longline t-shirt or cami, a waterfall cardigan and flats. Add a topknot to that and you have my signature look, haha :) There are things in my wardrobe I simply cannot live without, so I decided to put this little list together and tell you why you need them in your life. I included some pieces from standard ranges (up to a size 18) and some from Asos Curve (18-28), as I buy from both.

GlamGlow Supermud Clearing Treatment Review

After trying a small sample of this mask, I was over the moon when a full size jar arrived in the post. I was actually planning to buy it myself, but I was kindly sent the product by the lovely people at www.cosme-de.com who are also offering my readers a discount code! (more details at the end of the post)

Roger & Gallet Fleur de Figuier Huile Gourmande Oil

I am a big fan of the Roger & Gallet Bois d'Orange Dry Oil and Roger & Gallet fragrances, so I had a feeling that I will adore their new release. I have a soft spot for anything fig or blackcurrant scented and the deliciously fragranced Fleur de Figuier Oil contains both! Oh my... it is divine!

Fashion Monday #3 / Leopard Print Dress & Bowler Hat

Today's outfit is one of my favourite pattern/colour combinations: black and leopard print. I am also giving a bowler hat a go, but I am still unsure about it.

August Love Me Beauty Box

My August Love Me Beauty Box* (£10.00 +P&P) features four full size items and I am very pleased with most of them. I received three makeup products and an eye cream and I wanted to share my first impressions with you.

My Most Used Makeup Products

There is nothing I love more than photographing brand new lipsticks or palettes, but... today I want to talk about my most used and well loved makeup products. The ones I either used up, repurchased, hit the pan on or simply used every single day since I got them . Are you ready for some recommendations?

Sale Purchases: Fashion & Beauty

I am the queen of sales... seriously, most of my wardrobe was bought with a massive discount and I very rarely pay full price for any of my clothing. I like spending, but I also like saving. Here are some of my recent purchases, most of them ordered this weekend, so they are not with me yet. I placed orders with Asos, House Of Fraser, New Look and Feelunique.
