Urban Decay Vice 2 Palette Review

I am pretty sure I mention it every time I review Urban Decay products, but... their eye shadows are the best on the market and I  adore them! I get a lot of use out of every UD palette I own, even the Book Of Shadows Vol II, purchased over 4 years ago. Believe it or not, but all the shades are still creamy and super pigmented!

The new Vice 2 Palette* (£42.00) features 20 new shades, all exclusive to this limited edition palette. You get a lot for your money and if you love Urban Decay- it is a bargain! The palette comes with a huge mirror inside (the biggest one I have seen so far) and a dual ended brush. I really like the purple packaging with a crystal UD logo. To open the palette, you simply push the long button on the front and the lid is released. Clever!

Kiko Colour Impact Eyeshadow Palette & Latex Like Lipstick

Last week two gorgeous Kiko products popped through  my letterbox and they already stole my heart. I love Kiko's baked blushers and nail polishes, but I was curious about the formula of their eye shadows, especially after seeing super pigmented swatches online. The limited edition Dark Heroine collection features many beautiful products, including lipsticks, eyeshadow palettes, highlighters, nail polishes and more. The products were released ages ago, but  you can still buy them  online and instore :)

October Favourites

My October favourites are a week late this time, but I couldn't wait to share my most loved skincare and makeup products :) I also decided to include some random favourites this month at the end of the post :) As usual, I have a lot to share, so let's get started.

A cute ebay find: Pink Eyelash Case

I have been looking for a cute eyelash case for ages, but there are really hard to find on ebay. I finally managed to get my mitts on this one, but unfortunately it isn't available as 'buy it now'. I had to bid on it and paid around £1.50 :) It is soooo cute! I can finally store my favourite lashes somewhere, instead of sticking them to something random, like a compact or an eyeshadow palette :) haha.

Cargo Contour Palette Review - Malibu

Contouring my face is something I am still trying to master and for some reason it is my favourite part of doing my makeup :) I developed an obsession with highlighters and I adore many different ones, but... finding the right contour colour is a struggle. I know that most girls use their normal bronzer to define cheekbones (I do it too), but makeup artists recommend using something with less orange hues, preferably with grey undertones. If you find the  'contour and highlight' thing confusing, I have a fool-proof solution for you! The Cargo Contour Palette is a godsend and offers perfect colours to help you  create gorgeous cheekbones and add dimension to your face in three easy steps.

NARS At First Sight Palette (review, swatches, makeup look)

I have been lusting after a NARS palette for ages, so it was the first item I placed in my asos basket, after I won a gift voucher on Sarah's blog. I was sooooo excited! The limited edition 'At First Sight' Eye & Cheek Palette by NARS includes four eyeshadows, a blush and a bronzer and it would be a perfect way to start your adventure with NARS products. I own a couple of things from NARS and I really like them, so it was a matter of time before I got one of their lovely palettes.

Sunday Manicure: Etude House Minnie Mouse Top Coats

I couldn't resist ordering some Minnie Top Coats from Etude House a couple of weeks ago and I must admit- they are as cute as I imagined them to be :) I ordered two variations - Minnie White Face and Minnie Pink Ribbon (approx. £3.50 each). They both look totally different in the bottle, but once applied over the same nail colour, they look quite similar.

Guest Post: Make-up Tips When Out Past Midnight

What's on my face #1

I quite like the idea of 'What's On My Face' posts so I thought I should start sharing my favourite makeup products weekly. I reviewed some of the products featured in this post already, but you can expect full reviews of the other bits next week :)

Budget Buy: MUA Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighter

I have been trying to get my mitts on the MUA Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighter for absolute ages, but it was sold out everywhere for a couple of months! Crazy! I made sure to sign up to Superdrug's notifications though, to let me know when it is back in stock and as soon as I got the email, I ordered... THREE of them :) haha.

Lily Lolo Classic and Metallics Collection

I am a big fan of Lily Lolo and I own quite a big selection of their products.  Their Mineral Concealer is fantastic and their gorgeous Demure & Intense Crush  lipsticks are some of my all time favourite lip colours. I also purchased some of their loose eye shadows and the pigmentation was incredible, but... I prefer pressed products, so the new releases looked very promising. There are four new  Lily Lolo products available, including two Eye Shadow Quads and two shades of Shimmer Stripes.

Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation Review

I am pretty sure that this foundation doesn't need an introduction :) It is the one and only Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation. Many bloggers and youtubers rave about it and again... I fell for the hype. Even the £33 price tag didn't put me off. Is it worth the money and all the hype? Let's find out...
