Hi everyone. I really wanted to try the Illamasqua Speckled Nail varnish, but I was on a spending ban for the past 100 days, so... it was impossible. I was ready to break the ban to get the L'Oreal Confetti Top Coat (£4.99), but it was sold out everywhere and still is actually. I cannot find it in any of my my local Boots or Superdrug stores and it is out of stock online. I am dying to try it!!!
I was meant to blog about this manicure during the Easter weekend, but I totally forgot! Here it is anyway :) I used pastels and a bright yellow and added dots on every second nail. The pistachio shade is Navigate Her by Essie, the pastel lilac is called "To Buy Or Not To Buy" ( also by Essie) and the yellow one is "Big Yellow Taxi" by Ciate. For a speckled effect I used a glitter polish from NYX - Super Funk. It has three different sizes of glitter in it and I love the way it looks over pastel colours. To speed up the drying process and prolong wear I added one coat of Seche Vite.
I am really pleased with the final effect, but I won't rest until I find the Confetti Top Coat :)
