NYX makeup

Hi everyone.
I received a couple of NYX products from 123hairandbeauty.co.uk  recently and I have been experimenting with the glitter cream palettes quite a lot. I created an extremely glittery look to show you the colour payoff  of the creams, but... I have been adding a touch of glitter to most of my makeup looks for an extra bit sparkle as well.

NYX Jumbo Lip Pencil*  in shade Hot Red £4.50

"What could be better, a lip liner and lipstick in one! NYX Jumbo Lip Pencil delivers precise lip lining while filling your lips with a smooth creamy, moisturising colour."

This might come to you a surprise, but I don't own any jumbo lip pencils, except this one. I don't own a single Clinique Chubby Stick or Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain. I don't know how I managed to avoid the craze. I really like the formula of the NYX Jumbo Lip Pencil, it is very soft and glides onto my lips without tugging. It is moisturising and very pigmented. I love the intense red shade! It fades evenly and leaves a hint of red on my lips for over 10 hours - it basically stains my lips red, even after the products is totally rubbed off. To me it is a bonus, because I like lip stains :)

"NYX Girls Polish line offers a high-octane and trendy colours to your nails. The formula dries quickly,
is long lasting and does not chip. Paint fun and gorgeous nails."

I love glitter on my nails! I can't get enough of it! It is usually a pain to remove, but it doesn't put me off. I have a couple of glitter top coats, but this is my first nail polish from NYX. It is a clear top coat with 3 different sized pink glitter particles. It would look lovely applied over many colours and I am sure I will be adding a NOTD post soon with this beaut :) Did I mention that it is a bargain? :)

NYX Glitter Cream Palettes - Royal Violets*and Sweet Chocolate Browns* £6.00 each

"Transform your look, or float from day to night, with a dash of celestial sparkle. Our palette of five gel-based glitters can be used to embellish eyes, cheeks and lips. Two applicators with sponge and brush tips included."

Now onto the most exciting bit- the glitter cream palettes. I couldn't wait to try them! I picked Royal Violets (with purples and gold) and Sweet Chocolate Browns (with gold, bronze, brown and pink).
Before I swatched the palettes, the glitters looked super pigmented and lovely, but... after the first swatch, all the shades turned into a glittery mess/ vaseline (?) with glitter in it, so not very nice.
I never give up, so I found a way to use them. After using up the top layer of amazing glittery goodness to create the makeup look below, I used the glitter creams to add a bit of sparkle to most of my makeup looks. I use the sponge applicators to apply a small amount of the glitter creams on top of my normal eyeshadow, in the centre of the eyelid and it looks really lovely. Not too sparkly, but very interesting. I will add a makeup look with some gold glitters soon.

I was expecting the palettes to be amazing, but I am a little bit disappointed and still looking for reasonably priced, super pigmented glitter pigments. Any recommendations?
