Apicare Manuka Honey Lip butter with pomegranate review

Hi everyone!
I was planning to add my April Glossybox review today, but... I got the red "Something for you" card through the door :/ I don't know how that happened. I was in all day... I will pick up the parcel tomorrow and review my box on Sunday.
Here is a quick review of Apicare lip butter I have been using for over a week. I wrote a review of Apicare moisturisers before, so feel free to have a look here.

Apicare Manuka Honey Lip Butter with pomegranate 8g* £7.50 link

INFO: This 100% natural lip balm contains NZ beeswax, active UMF 16+ Manuka honey, plant oils and plant butters to hydrate and moisturise your lips, with the added benefit of a natural sunscreen to protect.
Key benefits:Natural zinc oxide provides SPF15 protection from damaging UVA and UVB rays. Pure New Zealand Beeswax and active UMF16+ Manuka honey work with natural plant oils & butters to give a thick, creamy long lasting lip balm. Pure essential oils give a yummy subtle flavour to this lip balm.
MY OPINION: I really like this lip balm/butter. It is highly moisturising and leaves my lips really soft and smooth. I use it anytime I feel like my lips need moisture, about 5 times a day :)
Like other Apicare products, you need the tiniest amount so it will last for a few months if I keep using it 5 times a day. The flavour and scent are delicate and all natural. It contains SPF 15 so you don't need to worry about sun protection :) The consistency is quite thick when it comes out of the tube, but as soon as you put it on your lips it melts and feels lovely and smooth. I noticed that consistency changes in different temperatures, the colder it is, the thicker it gets.
It also gives my lips a nice light pink(ish) sheer. Gorgeous!
I also like the packaging, you need to admit- it is really cute.

Edible Manicure with Purple Glitter Sugar :)

Please don't think I am crazy, haha :) I was clearly very bored and wanted to take some cool pictures. I do not wear edible glitter on my nails all day.  Many of you said that the caviar/fish egg manicure looks good enough to eat and it makes you think about sweets :) So here is something that is edible :) I hope you like it.

Yves Rocher Riche Creme and Elixir 7.9 review. Perfect anti-aging combination!

Hi everyone.

I am finally back to normal with my posts. My husband installed PhotoShop on his PC, I got an app called Blogsy for my iPad and I got a new card for my SLR. What about my laptop? Still dead...

Today I am sharing a review of a perfect anti-aging solution I discovered recently. Now, I know what you're thinking... Anti-aging at 24? Well... Yes!

I have got wrinkles on my forehead! But that's not the only reason why I started using anti-aging products. The damaging effects of the sun will soon start to appear on my face, so I would rather start preventing it now than cry later :) I always use sun protection in various forms during the day and I started using anti-aging creams and serums at night time.

I always liked Yves Rocher products, especially their Bio Night Lotion, so I was very happy to be given an opportunity to test their anti-aging range. I picked Elixir 7.9 Youth Intensifier and Riche Creme.

If you haven't heard about Yves Rocher, have a look at their website. There is hundreds of products to choose from and I am sure you will find something suitable for you at a great price. You also get a free gift with every order! Here is a link to the Yves Rocher website www.yves-rocher.co.uk

PS. I am sorry for the reflection of my chair and me in the gold packaging :)

Yves Rocher Elixir 7.9 Youth Intensifier 30ml* £35 link

INFO: Elixir 7.9 Youth Intensifier is to be used every day, morning and evening, under your usual anti-age care to greatly increase its rejuvenating effectiveness or, as a 1-month intensive treatment 2 to 3 times per year, when your skin needs it.
Visible effects:Smoothes wrinkles, Refined skin texture, New skin effect, Firmer skin, Boosted radiance.
Suitable for all women and all skin types. Paraben-free formula and tested under dermatological supervision.
MY OPINION: I love the light formula of this elixir/serum. You only need a tiny drop to massage into your face and it sinks in right away. It smells really nice, not too strong. I use it in the morning, before applying moisturiser and foundation and at night time followed by Yves Rocher Riche Creme. I noticed that my skin became really firm and radiant and the wrinkles on my forehead seem to be less visible.
I really like this light serum and and I will keep using it at night time to increase effectivness of my anti-ageing creams.

MY OPINION: This cream feels like luxury enclosed in a gold pot. That's how I can describe it in one sentence. First of all- I love the packaging. It is a limited edition version to celebrate the 40th anniversary of The Riche Creme line. The gold jar is made of thick plastic and it looks absolutely beautiful. The texture of the cream feels thick and luxurious. The smell reminds me of my mums anti-wrinkle creams that I used to try when I was younger :) Sorry mum :) I always loved trying beauty products. I use this cream as part of my night time skin care routine, after using the Elixir 7.9. It isn't absorbed by my skin right away, I wait about 5 minutes before I put my head on the pillow. I can't believe how nourished and soft my skin feels after using these two products together. I am very impressed!

Saving- Depotting Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion

Hello my lovelies!

I was organising my make up last week and I found two bottles of Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion. One is over 1 year old and "empty" and one is brand new. The funny thing is... they were the same weight. I remembered that I seen a post about "depotting" the UD primer and I thought, I will give it a go to see... I was shocked!!! I sliced the tiny bottle with a sharp knife (I also sliced my finger, so be careful!) and it was FULL!!! I was convinced that there was no product left... Now... see what was inside:

Deborah Lippmann Happy Birthday + Rimmel London Clouds

Hello everyone!
Another post with pictures taken with my digital camera :/ I can't believe I haven't received my new card yet. Anyway... I bought a set of Deborah Lippmann polishes "Get This Party Started" a couple of weeks ago and I have been trying different manicures with it. My favourite must be Happy Birthday over a white base. It looks lovely. The set wasn't a great purchase, but I will do a seperate post about it.
PS. Excuse my cuticles :/

Crush on crushed velvet flocked nails

Mu crushed velvet manicure is finally here!!!
I have been looking for crushed velvet flock for a reasonable price and it took me over 2 weeks to find it on ebid  for £0.99 plus £0.81 delivery!!! There is 4 colours in one pack. What a bargain! If you buy more colours, you get a p&p discount.
If you want to splash your cash on more colours there is a pack of 12 from theglitterpot for £14.49  here.

The manicure is very simple:
1.Paint your nail with a nail polish similar in colour to the flocking you want to use.
2.Dip your nail into a pot of flocking powder.
3.Press the flocking powder onto your nail firmly and blow off any excess.
4.Repeat on all nails and there you have fluffy, cuddly, soft nails :) amazing!

PS. I am sorry for the picture quality. I lost my XD card for my SLR and I had to use my ordinary digital camera. I am very upset about that, because I love good quality pictures :/ I ordered a replacement and my photography will be back to normal after the weekend.

BUDGET BLUSHERS: Accessorize Scandal, MUA in shades 1 and 4

I picked up a few blushers from Superdrug and I thought I will do a quick comparison.
I love blushers and I can't imagine my makeup without them. It just looks unfinished to me.
I don't stick to one shade, I like to try different ones. It also depends on the colour of my skin. In summer I am usually very tanned, so I go for bronzers or blushers with gold shimmer.
At the moment, I am in love with pretty pinks and peachy shades.
I bought 2 MUA blushers in shades 1 and 4 and a cute accessorize blusher in shade 6-Scandal.
ACCESSORIZE MERGED BAKED BLUSHER- 6- SCANDAL
First of all, I love the packaging. It is absolutely gorgeous! The product itself looks really pretty, I love the swirls of different colours. It really caught my eye in the shop and I couldn't resist it! I am so glad I picked it up. The pigmentation is great and it looks perfect on my skin! It is a lovely shimmery(but not too shimmery) medium pink with a little bit of light gold highlighter. I am very impressed! It costs £5 and it feels really luxurious!
It became my favourite blusher!

MUA BLUSHERS
SHADE 1
I really like to use it when I want to achieve a natural look. It is a light pink with a bit of shimmer.
There is a little fall out, but for £1 you can't go wrong. I think that it suits all skin tones, so if you get a chance, pick it up from Superdrug. The packaging is nice and simple and  there is 6 different shades to chose from. I wasn't very keen on trying MUA, I thought... 1£ makeup must be terrible. It isn't! I can't wait to try other MUA products.
SHADE 4
This is another shade that will suit all skin tones. It is a warm peachy colour and it feels very nice and smooth when applied on my cheeks. It has got just the right amount of shimmer and I really like it. Both MUA blushers have got great pigmentation and are really worth trying.

Real Techniques Core Collection Brushes by Samantha Chapman

I am sure you already heard about the Real Techniques brushes, so I won't be going into detail in this quick post.
All I want  to say is: I can't believe I used to do my make up without the real techniques brushes!
They are amazing! The bristles feel unbelievably soft, the design is great and they are very well made.
I own Eco tools brushes that are really soft, but Real Techniques ones are even softer!

The set includes 4 full-size brushes and a ravel case, which can also be used as a stand.

detail brush: I use it to apply concealer, but you can also apply lipstick with it.

pointed foundation brush: use it to apply liquid foundation

buffing brush: I use it to apply foundation, powder and blusher... It is my favourite brush from this set and I use it all the time.

contour brush: I apply highlighters and bronzers with this brush, to contour my face.

you can get the set from Boots for £21.99
