Benefit Big Easy

Benefit Big Easy* (£27.50, 35ml)

I am all about a flawless, but natural looking base and BIG EASY gives me just that, plus many extra benefits. It is described as a 'multi-balancing complexion perfector' and offers light to medium coverage. Designed for oily and combination skin, Big Easy is an oil free wonder with a unique liquid to powder formula and it gets a big thumbs up from me.

Bobbi Brown Nectar & Nude Eye Palette

I've been lusting after this palette since the launch of the Nectar & Nude Collection, so the fact that it is finally mine makes me really, really  happy :) I was lucky to be offered a chance to review a beauty product from Debenhams and I didn't have to think twice about my choice :) Surprisingly, this is my first Bobbi Brown product ever, which might sound ridiculous coming from a beauty blogger, but... it looks like I might turn into a Bobbi Brown addict and I totally blame this stunning palette! It features a nice selection of neutrals, with four matte shades and two shimmers and it suits all skin tones and eye colours.

Crownbrush 626 'Starter Kit' Brush Set

I love makeup brushes and I probably own far too many already, but... I was really excited to try the new 626 Brush Set* by Crownbrush. It is described as the perfect starter kit and I couldn't agree more. It comes with 11 good quality brushes wrapped in a faux leather brush wrap and retails at £39.99. The set launched yesterday and you can now buy it from www.crownbrush.co.uk

What beauty products do you like to receive as gifts?

I am pretty sure that many of you received an awkward beauty present in the past. I know I have... I think that beauty bloggers are extremely hard to buy for, unless you are always up to date with their makeup collection and current wishlist :) haha. Beauty gifts in general can be very tricky to pick and that's why Debenhams created a survey to find out the preferred beauty products people love as presents. The findings of the survey will be promoted on Debenhams social media platforms as well as blog and online publications and I can't wait to find out the outcome. Today I would like to show you my personal top three beauty gifts and... ask you what beauty products you love receiving as gifts yourself?

Urban Decay Naked Lip Glosses

These have been on my radar for a while, but I wasn't too sure what shade I should get. Many bloggers mentioned that all the colours look very similar on the lips (which could be the case if you compare all of the nude ones, or have super pigmented, dark lips), but I was pleasantly surprised with the selection I was kindly sent to try out. They all have different hues, look stunning on the lips and feel really luxurious.

Ole Henriksen Truth To Go Wipes

I am totally against using wipes as a 'cleansing method', but I always have a packet of good quality face wipes in my stash and my favourite ones are the Ole Henriksen Truth To Go Wipes. Actually... they are the only wipes I have been using since last April/May, when I discovered them in a WIMH Ole Henriksen Discovery Kit

Urban Decay Electric Palette - review and swatches

Urban Decay Electric Palette* (£38.00)

I am a self-confessed Urban Decay addict and I consider their eye shadows THE BEST on the market. I am pretty sure that everyone who knows their formula will definitely agree with me. Their new Electric Palette was designed with colour addicts in mind, containing 10 insanely bright pressed pigments, with 8 of them being totally new and 2 featured in previous limited edition palettes. There is a nice selection of matte and shimmers, all super pigmented and and with a velvety texture.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush - Mood Exposure

I couldn't resist ordering another stunning Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush (£28.00) and I settled on Mood Exposure this time. I am still obsessed with Radiant Magenta, but I wanted something for days when I don't have too much time to do my makeup and need a multi-tasking cheek colour.

Big Green Smile Giveaway (£50 and £25 vouchers)

Big Green Smile stock some of my favourite natural brands and they kindly offered my readers a chance to win some vouchers to spend on their website. You can see some of my favourite products you could buy with the vouchers on the photo above, including Antipodes, Weleda, Korres, Dr Hauschka, Jason, Green People, Organic Surge, Burt's Bees and more.

Quick Noodle Soup Recipe

Hi everyone. I hope you are having a lovely, relaxed Sunday :) As promised, here is the recipe for my favourite noodle soup I mentioned on Instagram a couple of times. I can't take all the credit for it though, because it was originally  my husbands creation. He made it for me when I was ill a couple of months ago and I have been making it at least twice a week since then, adding my own twist to it and trying different flavours. It is really quick to make (takes about 20 minutes), filling and relatively healthy, depending on the ingredients you use.
