Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush - Radiant Magenta

If you read my blog regularly, you will know how much I love my Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders. They are truly incredible and I can't even imagine my makeup without them. As soon as I found out that Hourglass are bringing out Ambient Lighting Blushers, I knew I had to get my mitts on a couple of shades. My budget is tight at the moment though, so I only ordered one so far. Most of the shades are still available on a 'pre-order' basis, but mine arrived within 5 days. After googling swatches and reviews I went for Radiant Magenta- a stunning fuchsia colour combined with some Radiant Light Ambient Lighting Powder. It is simply breathtaking!

First of all, I adore the packaging. The plastic case is slightly smaller than the powder one (2/3 of the size) and comes in a lighter, more golden colour. It looks classy and elegant. The blush itself is absolutely gorgeous and I love the fusion of two colours in the pan. Radiant Magenta is probably the most vibrant out of all 6 shades, featuring a bright pink blush shade and a warm toned peachy highlight running through it in a form of a Radiant Light powder. There is no visible shimmer in the blush in daylight, but you can see the tiniest gold flecks in the photo with flash. The colour payoff is surprisingly good and the blush applies very evenly. In fact, I have never used a cheek colour, which gives such a natural, seamless and even finish. It makes me look like I am blushing naturally, but adds the most beautiful glow as well. It is hard to explain :) It also lasts really well and I don't need a touch up for 8 hours, which is fab for a cheek product.

The formula is very similar to the Ambient Lighting Powders and has the exact same texture and finish, with an added wash of colour. There are no nasties included, which is something I would expect from such an expensive product. All Hourglass powders are paraben, talc, fragrance, nano-particle and gluten free.

I am really impressed with my Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush and I am planning to buy another one soon, probably Mood Exposure (update: it is already on it's way, haha). Space NK are offering FREE delivery on all UK orders at the moment, so you can get your mitts on one of the stunning colours, without paying for the postage :)

As you can see, I have a nice little selection of various Hourglass powder shades in my collection, thanks to the limited edition Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette I got a couple of months ago. I couldn't be happier with it. It is amazing!

Have you tried any of the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders or Ambient Lighting Blushers?

The blushers and powders are available from Space NK.
