HND 3D nail wraps: Reflections

Hi everyone,

I received 2 sets of HND 3D nail wraps* about two weeks ago and I finally got a chance to use them last weekend.
I got 2 designs: "Reflections" and "Think Of Me". Both absolutely beautiful!
I tried Nail Rock wraps before and the results were ok, but I struggled to apply them.
HND nail wraps are more flexible and much easier to apply.
They are made of high quality vinyl and the application doesn't require any heat.
It took me less than 5 minutes to do both hands and the final effect is just amazing!
The 3D design makes the wraps look incredible and definitely has the wow factor.
I literally couldn't stop looking at my nails, because they looked so pretty!
I think that nail wraps are perfect for a special occasion or a night out.
I would expect them to be more expensive, but they only cost £5.50 and you get 20 individual wraps so it is enough for 2 full manicures. If you can't find the right size, you can simply cut them into a desired shape.
It is very easy and the effects are AMAZING!
What do you think? :)

I will be adding another NOTD post with the other design soon :)

Reflections* £5.50
"An elegant and on-trend design with silver and black animal print - made textured with small silver diamantes. Perfect for an evening out or even to give a luxurious twist to a pre-holiday mani!"
Think Of Me* £5.50
"Get flirty with these cute heart printed nail wraps. Perfect for that 'date night' or if you are feeling romantic!"

You can buy 3D nail wraps from www.nail-wrap.co.uk

Clarins mineral eyeshadow 01 White Sparkle review

CLARINS Ombre MinĂ©rale Eye Shadow 01 White Sparkle* 2g £16.00 link

"Delivers smooth, long-lasting, intense colour. Its ultra soft mineral texture can be applied wet or dry, to beautifully enhance the eyes with a matte, satin or shimmer finish."

I am always looking for the perfect white eyeshadow and I think I just found exactly what I was looking for.
Clarins Ombre Minerale Eyeshadow in shade 01 White Sparkle is a perfect eye highlighter colour.

White Sparkle is a shimmery white shade, sheer if applied lightly, but buildable if you apply more layers or use a wet applicator. You can see the difference between dry and wet application in my swatches.
It is  a perfect colour for the inner corner of the eye to illuminate and make eyes appear bigger.
I also use it under the brow bone or layer it on top of other eyeshadows to add a bit of sparkle.
It feels very light on my eyelids, stays put all day without a primer and the overall quality is absolutely  amazing. I also love the beautiuful design of all Clarins eyeshadows. Who wouldn't? :)

All Clarins eyeshadows are ophthalmologically and dermatologically tested and suitable for sensitive eyes.
If you are looking for long lasting luxury eyeshadows you will fall in love Clarins

You can find my previous review of a gorgeous Clarins Eye Quartet here.

ghd Cherry Blossom Limited Edition Set

I am not going to lie, I was super excited when I received the beautiful limited edition ghd Cherry Blossom Set*. The packaging itself made me fall in love with it instantly, but as you might know - ghd's are simply a wonderful, good quality product.

I was asked to create a celebrity inspired hairstyle with the styler and I decided to go for a hairstyle inspired by Jennifer Aniston. Her hair is usually straight, but with a bit of volume and that's what I usually go for. My hair is naturally very fine and straight and lacks volume, so it needs some help to look nice :)

Here is what I do to create more volume with straighteners:
-I use a volumising shampoo and conditioner and blow dry my hair.
-I clamp small sections of hair in the flat iron as close to the roots as possible and pull it straight up.
-Once I am done, I flip my head upside down and spray my hair with a texturising spray to give it extra volume.
-Sometimes I also like to slightly curve the ends of my hair to add some movement.

That's it. Nothing special, but it makes a big difference. I don't use heat very often, but when I want to look nice, I have no choice, but to blow dry and use straighteners or curlers.

I created this hairstyle with the ghd Cherry Blossom Limited Edition SetIt is such a beautiful design and the quality and attention to detail are amazing! The ceramic plates in the styler are shimmering pink and there is a little ghd sign on the inside, which lights up bright pink when the styler is on! Cute  :)

I don't think I have to rave about ghd straighteners, because everybody knows how good they are :) I am very impressed and I know that they will work perfectly for many years. They also come with a 2 year guarantee.

The set is a special edition and for every Pink Cherry Blossom styler sold in the UK £10 is donated to Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

You can buy it from www.ghdhair.com for £129 here.

Make sure to check out the celebrity hairstyles section on GHD website.

SAS & COMPANY Limited Edition Michel Mercier Box

Hi everyone.

I received a limited edition SAS & COMPANY box* recently and I wanted to share my thoughts with you.

"Michel Mercier have teamed up with some fabulous fragrance brands to bring you a selection of complimentary samples when you purchase the new SAS Box. In addition to an Award Winning Michel Mercier 'Untangle Your Day' Hairbrush, the SAS Box will also include five fragrance miniatures for 'him' and for 'her'. You are able to select the Michel Mercier 'Untangle Your Day' Hairbrush in one of three variants, for fine, normal or thick hair for the usual RRP of £14.95"
WHAT'S IN THE BOX?
Michel Mercier Untangle Your Day Detangling Brush
"An exclusive patent involving 428 bristles positioned at different heights with a unique geometric distribution, the brush helps to disperse the pressure placed on the hair during brushing, resulting in easier detangling, reduced hair loss and breakage, and a far more pleasant brushing experience overall. "

I've never tried detangling hair brushes, even during the Tangle Teezer craze,
but I always wondered if they actually work.
When you buy the SAS box you can  pick from three different brushes, designed for different hair types:
fine, normal and thick.
My hair is fine, so I decided to get a brush for fine hair and it comes in black and pink.
I used it on wet and dry hair and I am very impressed with it.
It definitely makes a difference - detangles all knots and glides through the hair.
The design of the brush makes it very comfortable to use.

5 fragrance samples:
KIM KARDASHIAN, LA PERLA IN ROSA, JOHN GALLIANO PARLEZ-MOI D'AMOUR EAU FRAICHE, GRIGIOPERLA NERO, LA PERLA CLASSIC

I am not a massive fan of perfume samples, but I do like to get them in beauty boxes sometimes.
The Kim Kardashian roller ball is the biggest sample and it actually smells nice- floral and feminine.
I am not a fan of celebrities (especially KK) and never buy celebrity fragrances, but this one is lovely.
The next sample I like is the Galliano one- it is light and fruity, but... I would never ever buy anything from Galliano, after his horrible antisemitic remarks... I hold grudges forever!
I also liked LaPerla samples and used them up already :)
My husband really liked the Grigioperla Nero- it is quite pleasant and not too strong.

Overall, I really like this box. The hair brush is definitely something I would consider buying myself.

If you need a detangling brush you should treat yourself to the SAS box.

You can get the box from www.michelmercier.co.uk for £14.95.

It is a limited edition, but it is still avaliable.

Bdellium Tools 15 piece Brush Set review

Hi everyone.
I have a slight obsession with make-up brushes and this Bdellium Tools set is the most recent addition to my collection. I am sure you've seen the green Bdellium brushes in the blogosphere already, but just so you know, you can also get them in yellow and black.
I absolutely adore this set and I think that Bdellium brushes are the most beautiful ones in my collection!

£79.95 from www.beautychamber.co.uk

"Professional Eco Friendly Complete 15 Piece Makeup Brush Set from the Bdellium Tools Green Bambu Series. 100% Cruelty Free, Vegan Friendly, Hypoallergenic Synthetic Bristles and Sustainable Bamboo Handles throughout."

First of all, I love the design. It is perfect and beautiful! The brushes are made of bamboo and the bristles are hypoallergenic and cruelty free! I am very impressed with the quality of the brushes. They are very well made and look expensive. The bristles are very soft and  feel great on my face, especially the powder and blusher brushes. Because the fibres are synthetic  there is no shedding, so you won't find annoying fibres on your face when you are doing your makeup:)
They are also easy to clean and dry in 4-5 hours.
The set contains every single brush you will ever need to do makeup, although I would add a buffing brush, because I am addicted to my Real Techniques one :)  My favourite brushes from the set are the 955B Duet Fiber Finishing Brush (perfect for applying and blending foundation), the 964B Blusher Brush (for blusher and bronzer) and the 762B Small Angle Brush (for filling in and shaping my eyebrows).
I have been using the brush set every single day since I got it and I love it! It comes with a roll up pouch which makes it perfect for travelling. If you are looking for good quality set, or if you want to get good single brushes, I can highly recommend Bdellium Tools. You can get Bdellium brushes from Beauty Chamber. They offer a wide selection of make-up, nail care and other beauty products with worldwide delivery.

NOTD: Revlon Colorstay Longwear Nail Enamel Cafe Pink 060

Hi everyone and happy Friday! :)
I haven't done a NOTD post in ages, but I will be doing a couple of them next week.
I received some Revlon Colorstay Longwear Nail Enamels* and also some new shades from the A/W Shanghai collection by Gucci Westman. I will be adding two separate posts with swatches, but today I am sharing the colour I have been wearing for the past couple of days.
The shade I am loving is 060 Cafe Pink*- a beautiful, creamy baby pink.
I will be talking about the formula and my thoughts on the Colorstay Longwear Nail Enamel collection in the post I planned for next week :)

Moroccanoil Restorative Hair Mask review

I found my Holy grail hair mask already- the Macadamia Deep Repair Masque, but I was very excited about trying the Morrocanoil Restorative Hair Mask and I had high hopes for it.
Read on to see if it met my expectations.

Moroccanoil Restorative Hair Mask* 250ml from hairtrade.com £30.45

"Moroccanoil Restorative Hair Mask from the Moroocanoil series is a treatment that offers a therapeutic remedy that penetrates deep into the hair. For hundreds of years Argan oil has been used by women in Morocco to treat hair and nails in order to counteract the effects of the hot climate. The Argan tree, found only in the South West of Morocco called Argana; blossoms in the desert-like conditions and produces fruits much like olives yet larger and rounder. Inside the fruit grows a large nut that houses up to three almond-shape kernels which are the source of this miraculous oil."

* Helps reconstruct and rebuild
* Reverses damage done by chemicals
* Restores hair from environmental elements like sun and wind
* Penetrates deep into the hair
* Unique formula brings out hairs inner health
* Leaves hair shiny and moisturized

Just like I said, I was expecting this mask to be absolutely amazing after trying the Macadamia one which is nearly 50% cheaper. I like it, I am not in love with it and it isn't something I would repurchase.

It is a very thick mask and it smells lovely. I used a generous amount of it on my dry ends and a small amount on the rest of my hair, but as soon as I applied it I knew that it won't be as good as Macadamia.
I let it work for 10 minutes, rinsed my hair, let it dry naturally and expected great results.
My hair felt quite soft and looked nice, but there wasn't  a big difference.
I used it about 5 times in the past two weeks and I can't see or feel a massive improvement in the condition of my hair.  I need to add that my hair is in quite good condition at the moment, because I very rarely  use heat and don't dye my hair anymore. The only thing I noticed was an improvement in the condition of my dry ends (bleached over 2 years ago). They look healthier and have more life.
I am guessing that the mask restores the hair from the inside and gives it strength and  I am benefiting from it somehow, but I don't think it is worth over £30.00.

It is probably better suited for those with very damaged/bleached hair and hair exposed to heat very often. It is a nice product, but I will stick to my Holy Grail Macadamia Deep Reapair Masque (review here)

You can buy this mask from hairtrade.com - one of the UK's leading online retailers of hair extensions hair care and beauty products.

NEW FOUND LOVE: Lily Lolo Lipstick in Intense Crush

Hi everyone!
After raving about Vegas Volt by MAC, I was sure that I found my favourite lipstick.
Last week I received some lovely products from Lily Lolo and I fell in love with the lipstick I got in a shade called Intense Crush. Oh my.... It is absolutely amazing!
I love it more than Vegas Volt and I can't stop using it! Read on for my rave review :)

LILY LOLO LIPSTICK: Intense Crush* £7.99 link

"Natural creamy lipsticks for beautiful and nourished lips. Each shade gives a stunning natural glow while protecting your lips with Vitamin E and rosemary extract."

I have been looking for a perfect peachy lipstick for months (years maybe) and I just couldn't find something I actually love! After trying Barry M in shade Peach a couple of weeks ago (review here) I thought that I will never find "the one" :)
As soon as I applied the Lily Lolo Lipstick in Intense Crush I knew that it will be my favourite colour ever!
When you get something online, you never know what to expect, but I am very happy with my choice!
Intense Crush is a shade described as a natural, coral peach and that's exactly how I would describe it too.
The consistency is very creamy and the formula is hydrating and full of goodness, enriched with Vitamin E and rosemary extract.
It applies beautifully and feels great on the lips. It is comfortable to wear and stays put for 4 hours.
I absolutely love it and I can't atop raving about it!
If you've been looking for a perfect peachy shade- this is it!
AMAZING!

Dolce & Gabbana Tortoise sunglasses review and a giveaway

DOLCE & GABBANA TORTOISE SUNGLASSES* c/o sunglassesshop.co.uk  £90.72

"This simple but seductive frame by D&G is simply gorgeous. Its sophisticated elegance is well suited to the female face and its oversized lenses are right on trend. Rounded edges soften the frame, making it really easy to wear, and its beautiful colour selection flatters all skin tones."

I always wanted a pair of D&G tortoise sunglasses, but never ordered them for some reason.
I bought cheap sunglasses with  tortoise effect frames before and I loved them, so I knew that I will fall in love with D&G ones. I picked square frames, because they are my favourite shape.
I don't think I look good in sunglasses in general, but it won't stop me from wearing them :)

There is one thing I always worry about when I buy designer sunglasses- somebody can sell you a fake, especially on ebay. I bought a couple of things from ebay  thinking that they are genuine, but unfortunately they were fake. Now, I only buy sunglasses from trusted retailers, to make sure that they have filters and won't damage my eyes. The website I got my sunglasses from is called sunglassesshop.com. They are an authorised dealer for every brand they sell, so you will always get genuine, top quality products.
The delivery was super fast and my package arrived the next day.

GOOD NEWS!
Lovely people at sunglassesshop.com  are sponsoring a pair of  Polaroid Tortoise sunglasses worth £37.00 for one of my lucky readers! The giveaway is open internationally!
All you need to do is follow the steps in the rafflecopter widget at the end of my post.
GOOD LUCK!
