Let's be honest... Valentine's Day during a global pandemic is not something I ever thought I would experience, but we've now celebrated birthdays, our 10 year anniversary and more during lockdown, so I'm used to it at this point, haha. I actually love Valentine's Day, even more now as a mum, because I always prepare a fun Valentine's Day breakfast for the kids too, pancakes, heart shaped toppings and lots of fresh cream, hot chocolates and cute decorations everywhere. This year the plan is the same and for me and Scott, it will be some lovely gin cocktails and a candlelit dinner maybe, if the kids let us, haha. I was kindly sent a few gifts from Moonpig to make our Valentine’s Day even more special and I’m really looking forward to having a low key lockdown celebration.

Hi everyone! Long time no... blog?  Haha. I know, I know... I haven’t blogged at all in 2020, but I’m forgiven, right? Pandemic and all... If you follow me on Instagram, you might already know that I dedicated the whole of 2020 to self care, fitness and working on myself. It was blissful! I trained to climb Ben Nevis and I did it in September and it was the best feeling ever! In the process, I lost 120lbs and I look like a different person (well, like myself 10 years ago), but this is not about weightloss. And guess what? That’s the key to changing your mindset! Let me give you all the tips for staying consistent, finding motivation and moving your body for reasons other than weightloss!

New spring accessories, beauty & fragrance

Spring is playing tricks on us and the rain is back somehow, but I am fully in Spring/Summer mode and I am enjoying more colour. I switched up my makeup too and I am using more corals and pinks and my skin is definitely ready to catch some rays and enjoy more sunshine!

Travel: Edinburgh Day Out

I love a good staycation and we have stayed in some lovely Edinburgh hotels before, but last Saturday we headed to the capital for a day trip, with our fingers crossed for good weather. We were really lucky, as the whole car journey and the time we spent in Edinburgh were filled with sunshine and we had a fab day taking in the architecture and views. We also indulged in some yummy vegan food and delicious mocktails and checked out some shops we don't have in Glasgow (Anthropologie, Harvey Nichols etc). Perfect!
