Real Techniques Sam's Picks Brush Set



 'Sam's Picks' is a limited edition set featuring 6 brushes - five of them are already available to buy separately or in other sets and one is exclusive to this collection. I am a big fan of Real Techniques brushes, so I was very excited to try out a selection of Sam's favourites.

MAC 217 - worth the hype?



I have been thinking about buying the 217 brush for absolute ages, but paying £18.00 for an eye shadow brush seemed a bit extravagant. After some encouragement from fellow bloggers, I finally ordered it, taking advantage of a 10% off Debenhams offer. I only used 217 a couple of times, but I already know how I feel about it :) Soo... is it worth the hype?

Multitasking beauty products


I have many beauty products in my stash, but some of them deserve a special mention, due to their versatility. Who doesn't love a good 2 in 1 or 3 in 1 wonder? I definitely do, especially in terms of skincare. Balms are usually the best multitaskers, but I found some more gems too.

Highlighting Concealer Pens


Highlighting concealer pens are probably one of my favourite beauty inventions ever! They are super easy to use, perfect for a touch up on the go and totally hassle free. I have a nice selection of these in my makeup stash, from drugstore to high end. Most of them are 2 in 1 products and help to conceal and highlight at the same time. I really like the pens I have tried so far and I think that every girl needs at least one in her makeup bag.

I tweeted about this AMAZING Urban Decay offering a while ago and I must admit... I was seriously considering saving all my pennies to buy this gigantic palette as a Christmas treat. Call me crazy... But I am obsessed with Urban Decay Eye Shadows. The price tag is really scary - £445 in Debenhams, or  $595 from Urban Decay Website, but... it would make me extremely happy.

Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick - Nude Delight




I don't own many Rimmel products, but their lip lacquers and waterproof eyeliners are simply amazing, so I decided to finally give the Moisture Renew Lipsticks a go. I went for a nude colour - Nude Delight, because I own too many pinks and reds already :) The formula of these is meant to be highly pigmented, very moisturising and long lasting. The lipsticks contain SPF 20 too, which is always a good thing.

Renovating and decorating a shower room


The shower room can be one of the toughest 'rooms' to decorate. You can either dismiss it as not being important enough to do much work on; or if you use it every day, you’ll want it to be as pleasant as possible. In a way, the smaller the room the more difficult it is to decorate. But there’s no need to feel defeated. Read on for some tips, that might work for you.

New additions to my MAC Palette: Contrast, Expensive Pink, Coppering, Lucky Green, Espresso and Satin Taupe


If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter, you will know that I have been buying lots of new MAC eye shadows. I really wanted to fill my palette as soon as possible, so I took advantage of the Debenhams 10% off deal and bagged myself over 1500 points on my Beauty Card too :) YAY! The shades I got are: Satin Taupe, Espresso, Expensive Pink, Coppering, Contrast and Lucky Green. I wanted a nice variety of colours and I must admit, I am very happy with all my choices.

NYX Born To Glow Liquid Illuminators



I am obsessed with highlighters, especially liquid ones and the NYX Born To Glow Liquid Illuminators are currently on the top of my list. If you don't feel like forking out £22.00 for the NARS Illuminators, you should give NYX a go. There are two shades available: Gleam and Sunbeam, both absolutely gorgeous. 

Purple Smokey Eye with Urban Decay Vice 2 Palette


As promised, here is another look created with the Urban Decay Vice 2 Palette*. This time, it is a dramatic, purple/violet smokey eye. It is one of my favourite makeup looks and I wear it quite often. I am hoping to improve my blending skills with my new MAC 217 brush in the future, but this look was created before I got it :)

Christmas Gift Idea: Aromatherapy Associates Ultimate Bath & Shower Collection



When it comes to bath and shower oils, Aromatherapy Associates are my favourite brand. I am obsessed with their Revive and De-Stress ranges and I can't imagine coping with anxiety and stress without them. They definitely make a difference and work wonders at making me feel relaxed.

Guerlain Terracotta Terra Nerolia Bronzer Review



First of all, let's take a minute to appreciate the design of this beautiful bronzer. It is absolutely stunning! It took me a while to actually start using it properly, because I didn't want to ruin the embossed pattern with gorgeous gold shimmer :) If you are not a fan of shimmer, don't worry- it is just a thin overlay and it will come off with the first 2-3 uses. The rest of the bronzer is matte and it adds a gorgeous glow to the skin.
