Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick - Nude Delight £6.29

I don't own many Rimmel products, but their lip lacquers and waterproof eyeliners are simply amazing, so I decided to finally give the Moisture Renew Lipsticks a go. I went for a nude colour - Nude Delight, because I own too many pinks and reds already :) The formula of these is meant to be highly pigmented, very moisturising and long lasting. The lipsticks contain SPF 20 too, which is always a good thing.

If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter, you will know that I have been buying lots of new MAC eye shadows. I really wanted to fill my palette as soon as possible, so I took advantage of the Debenhams 10% off deal and bagged myself over 1500 points on my Beauty Card too :) YAY! The shades I got are: Satin Taupe, Espresso, Expensive Pink, Coppering, Contrast and Lucky Green. I wanted a nice variety of colours and I must admit, I am very happy with all my choices.

Purple Smokey Eye with Urban Decay Vice 2 Palette

As promised, here is another look created with the Urban Decay Vice 2 Palette*. This time, it is a dramatic, purple/violet smokey eye. It is one of my favourite makeup looks and I wear it quite often. I am hoping to improve my blending skills with my new MAC 217 brush in the future, but this look was created before I got it :)

First of all, let's take a minute to appreciate the design of this beautiful bronzer. It is absolutely stunning! It took me a while to actually start using it properly, because I didn't want to ruin the embossed pattern with gorgeous gold shimmer :) If you are not a fan of shimmer, don't worry- it is just a thin overlay and it will come off with the first 2-3 uses. The rest of the bronzer is matte and it adds a gorgeous glow to the skin.

As a chocoholic, I always crave chocolate, but I do my best to avoid eating unnecessary, processed sugar. I have always been intrigued by makeup face charts and I must admit- I have seen some amazing creations on instagram and twitter. Makeup artists create real masterpieces with these and I would be happy to frame some of the charts I have seen and display them on my wall.
