Home Decor: pink accents in the bedroom.

I have been drawn to blush pink  colours lately and I decided to experiment a bit and add some pink and mauve accents to the greys and whites in the bedroom and I am in love with the way it all looks together. It's mostly thanks to the stunning new prints from Posterlounge, as you can see, but also some new cushions etc.

I wasn't sure if I should really go for the pink or play it safe, so I ordered a few different grey options to go in the frames as well, but I went with the pinks at the end and I am so pleased with my choices. I opted for three 50x70cm prints as they fit perfectly into the affordable IKEA frames. I didn't actually put the frames up, as we have a little shelf behind the headboard where I can sit the frames without making holes in the wall. Perfect!

The headboard itself is a new addition too. We used to have a white faux leather one for a double bed but we switched to a super king a while ago, so I finally ordered a headboard to match the new size.  It's actually massive and looks very grand.

I added some new faux fur cushions from Dunelm and a little pink plant pot from IKEA with a real plant in it. I have to get some more plants, as they add such a nice vibe to any space. We have some in the living room as well and I just love them!

I am really pleased with the quality of the prints and the designs are so beautiful! The delivery was super speedy as well and I can't wait to show you how I styled the other prints in the hallway once it's all finished.

You can order these from www.posterlounge.co.uk. They offer standard prints, but also canvas and some unusual materials too, like wood, acrylic and more.

Head to my instagram this evening to enter a competition to win a £50 voucher to spend on prints.

Do you like hints of pink in your decor? I think it looks lovely with grey and white.
