Glasgow Day Out (Science Centre, Jamie's Italian + Buchanan Galleries).

As we are now back in Scotland, I thought I would finally share our day out in Glasgow which happened over a month ago, but I simply didn't have time to talk about it. We visited the Science Centre which Zachary absolutely loved, followed by lunch at Jamie's Italian and a spot of shopping at Buchanan Galleries.

The Science Centre was incredible. The kids had a blast interacting with everything and my husband and I loved it just as much! It is the coolest place, full of amazing activities and displays, mostly interactive and very interesting.

Zachary said it was the best place he has ever been to, which says a lot! He is my little geek, so it was right up his street. He definitely takes after daddy with his love of science.

So much fun!

Mia really enjoyed it too and she didn't take a single tantrum (except the Planetarium, which I will talk about later).

I was mostly consumed by taking photos, but I can't wait to visit again!

Little cuties!

Seeing the kids play and learn makes me so happy!

One of the coolest photos of the day.

Honestly, you HAVE TO take your kids to the Science Centre!

We also enjoyed a short kid friendly show at the Planetarium. Mia was a little bit impatient and cried before the show started, but we still enjoyed it. Unless your 2 year old is an angel, they might get a bit frustrated with waiting and the commentary.

Zachary was completely immersed in the show.

After all the fun at the Science Centre, we headed to our favourite restaurant in Glasgow - Jamie's Italian. It is fantastic for kids and we simply adore it.

The supergrain salad is my favourite.

After the glorious lunch, we went for a bit of shopping at Buchanan Galleries. We find it the best place to shop, as we can just park in their car park easily and get what we need without getting soaked (Scottish weather, right?). And they have John Lewis, which means I can buy Emma Bridgewater.... but shhhhhh!

We also stopped at the Lego store, as they were supposed to host a little event for kids - a building workshop, but it was far too busy, due to the holidays.

Overall, we had a great day and the kids loved it very much!
