Christmas Gift Guide: Eyeshadow Palettes

Who doesn't love a brand new eyeshadow palette, right? I know I do and it doesn't matter if already own 50, I get excited about every single new addition to my collection. Whether you are shopping for a makeup newbie or a makeup addict, you simply can't go wrong with these.

Let's start with one of my current favourites, the Urban Decay Ultimate Basics*(£38.50). It's one of those palettes, you keep reaching for, thanks to the very wearable colour selection and the incredible quality of the shadows. I reviewed it in full here.

Another beautiful palette I can't get enough of is The Wish List*(£39.00) by BareMinerals. From mattes to sparkly metallics, it is perfect for the festive season and for everyday wear too. All the colours are neutral, super pigmented and apply like a dream. And the packaging is to die for!

Now onto something smaller, but so stunning, you might just fall in love. The Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Muse Palette*(£38.00). I am obsessed with it, especially the sparkly gold shade which I use almost every day on the centre of the eyelid on top of other shadows and even on my lips to add a bit of shimmer. It looks incredible! I swatched it here, if you want to see.

You might not know, but The Body Shop do makeup and this True Romance Quad*(£15.00) is a nice and affordable option, if you're looking for a stocking filler for a makeup addict. The purple tones are stunning and the formula is easy to work with and nicely pigmented.

Another small palette, but one I also adore, is this little beauty by Bagsy. It's the Dawn To Dusk Palette*(£24.00) in collaboration with Savannah Miller. Containing five celestial shades (Moonbeam, Sunrise, Dusk, Galaxy, Star Gazing) from neutral tones of creams and golds to smouldering hues with a wearable shimmer finish, it will be ideal for the party season.

I talked about these in my recent post, but I have to mention them again. The Soap & Glory Palettes are an absolute bargain, at only £13! One is full of mattes and the other one features shimmery shades. Read more here.

Do you have your eye on any of these? Which palette is on the top of your wish list this year?
