As soon as the sun comes out in Spring/Summer, I feel like I have nothing to wear. I do the same thing every single year.. During colder months -I spend all my money on skincare and makeup, during warmer months- I go clothes shopping non stop! I started ordering new dresses, tops and skirts a couple of weeks ago and I can't seem to stop. My favourite places to shop for plus size clothing are New Look, Forever21 and Asos.
I placed quite a big order with New Look yesterday and I cannot wait for it to arrive.
Since I already bought a couple of floral and bright summer dresses, I decided to stock up on basics this time.
I will be able to make them work with my other clothes easily.

The first thing I placed in my online basket was a two pack of skater dresses. They are an absolute bargain and cost £17.99. The black one will probably end up as my most worn piece this year. The aubergine/pink one is very basic too and I will be able to dress is it up/down, depending on the occasion. I also ordered a black midi dress with 3/4 sleeves, because the one I own really needs a replacement :) The midi trend is something I really like, so I couldn't resist the tie dye midi skirt either. It will look lovely paired with the basic black shirt or the oversized grey jumper with a leather trim.
Believe it or not - I don't own a peplum top yet, so when I noticed them reduced to £4-£5 in the sale, I ordered them without thinking twice.
I usually order many accessories from New Look, so it was very hard for me to stay away from their jewellery section. Oh my... They have so many pretty necklaces this season. I decided to go for the big, chunky chain necklace, with turquoise stones and gold details. It is absolutely beautiful and I can't wait to wear it with a simple black dress. It was a bargain too - only £9.99.
I also ordered a couple of hoodies in bright colours and some loungewear (not pictured) because I love to be comfy :) All the pieces are from the Inspire range (plus size), but some of them are available in standard sizes as well.
I am very excited to prepare some outfit posts with the new additions to my wardrobe.
Do you shop more in Spring/Summer? Or is it just me?
*I was kindly sent New Look vouchers and I used them too place my order.
