Rachel K Neutral CC Cream Review +swatches and before and after photos

"Neutral CC Cream is a much more refined and improved BB cream which combines various benefits all in one - colour control, oil control, whitening, brightening, moisturizing and UV protection with SPF 35.  It enhances the complexion by improving its texture, balancing skin tone and brings forth the quality of real skin - dewy, fresh, elastic and with a glow. The end effect is a flawless, non oily (matte) and radiant complexion. Slightly more beige shade for skin with warm undertones, yellow, redness."

The Rachel K CC Blemish Balm is the first CC cream I've tried, so it is kind of exciting for a beauty addict :)
I really like BB creams and my favourite one is by Ginvera. CC cream is basically an imporoved BB cream with more added benefits for the skin. First of all, CC stands for Color Control and the product is meant to help with that, as well as oil control, whitening, brightening, moisturizing and UV protection. It comes with SPF 35, which is brilliant for those who care about ageing and preventing skin cancer.

I am going to base this review around the makeup properties of this product, but it is nice to know that it was made to help with some common skin concerns.  First of all, the light beige shade is suitable for most skin tones. I tried it on my tanned skin and on my sisters pale complexion and it was a perfect  match for her and slightly too pale for me. Once blended into the skin, it looked natural on both of us. I included a before and after shot and some swatches on my hand to show you the colour and texture of the product.

The consistency of the Rachel K CC cream is quite thick and I used my fingers to apply it. I had to use quite a lot of moisturizer before the application, because I had a feeling that the product might exaggerate dry patches. I wouldn't recommend it for dry skin, but it is perfect for normal/combination types. It gives light/medium coverage and the finish is matte, but also adds a healthy glow.

The final effect  looks very natural and one layer of the cream evens out skin tone, reduces appearance of pores, imperfections and discolouration. On good skin days, I can wear it on its own. If I decide to wear full makeup, I add a little bit of concealer under my eyes and on any breakouts to achieve a flawless look. I am very impressed with the lasting power of this CC cream. It stayed in place all day, set with a tiny amount of a loose powder!

Overall, I really like the natural finish I can achieve with this product and the lasting power is incredible!
I would recommend it for those with normal/combination skin, looking for a medium coverage and a dewy look.
