We Made Me Pao Papoose 3in1 Baby Carrier Review

As Zachary was a very quiet baby and didn't require non stop attention, I didn't really look into baby wearing. He was always content and happy in his bouncer, cot, on a blanket etc. Mia on the other hand... well.. she is very clingy and demanding and wants to be attached to me 24/7. Typical diva! That's why I was very excited when We Made Me, who are experts when it comes to baby wearing came to the rescue with their range of baby carriers!

I was kindly sent two of their carriers: the Wuti Wrap* and the Pao Papoose*. Both are brilliant, but I will start with the latter, as I have used it the most.

Pao Papoose*(£89.99) is a 3 in 1 baby carrier and it features a very stylish and practical design. What I love about it the most is how soft it is and the fact that it is super adjustable, which is very important to me (I am a size 20, so some carriers wouldn't fit my frame). All the straps feel very comfortable on mine and Mia's body and there is no digging into the skin etc. Sooo, soo comfy!

Pao Papoose is suitable for babies from 4 to 36 months of age and offers two front positions and one back carrying position. I personally haven't tried the back one as I find it too tricky to place Mia in the carrier myself on my back. The two front positions are super easy to do though and baby is very, very secure inside the carrier.

All the padding on the straps and waistband adds extra comfort, which is essential for all mums, but especially those after a c-section like me. I am assuming that Mia feels very comfy inside too, as she loves being in the Pao Papoose. The front facing position is her favourite. The carrier also has adjustable head support that doubles as a protective hood and it's made of 100% cotton. In case of any accidents (poop, dribble, sick etc) it is machine washable at 40 degrees, so very easy to clean.

Obviously, Pao Papoose has been tested and approved and it is perfectly safe for you and your baby. It comes with instructions and a handy 'how to' stitched onto the inside of the carrier (genius!), just in case you forget how to strap it, which you won't, because it's sooo, soo easy! We started with the arms in position, but it was more comfy for Mia to have her arms out, due to her size.

I opted for a classic midnight black colour, but it also comes in lavender (lilac) and pebble (beige/grey). The 3 in 1 carrier comes in  a pouch for easy storage and a big sturdy box, that can be used for a cool DIY or as it is, to keep bits and bobs. I will be doing a DIY with two of the boxes, so keep your eyes peeled.

We absolutely love our Pao Papoose by We Made Me and it is very handy when you want your baby close to you, or you simply don't have a choice and your baby is only happy glued to you, haha :) With the carrier, you have both of your hands free and you can do whatever you need to do, like hoovering and general housework or simply going for a walk or grocery shopping, without having to take a stroller. Fab! And most importantly, it's an amazing bonding experience for your baby and you/your partner. Because nothing beats baby cuddles!

Have you tried baby wearing? Are you a fan?
