When it comes to makeup, I adore many high end products, but... I also love cheaper options, including some real gems from E.L.F. I especially like ordering from them , during their 50% off sales :) To create this makeup look, I used E.L.F. products only and I went for a golden smokey eye, peachy lips and glowy cheeks.
For the eyes, I used the Beauty Book* (Bronze,£6.00). It is such a fab little kit! I primed my eyes with the primer, applied the gold shade allover the lid, dark brown in the crease and under the lower lash line and the light beige in the inner corners and under the brow bone. To add more definition, I added Precision Liquid Liner* (£3.95), Mineral Infused Mascara* (£3.95) and Individual False Lashes* (£1.95). I wasn't blown away by the mascara and liner, as they needed too many layers, but the individual lashes gave me the length and volume I was looking for. For my brows, I used the black eye pencil from the kit.
For the base, I used E.l.f. Flawless Finish Foundation*(£7.50) and I absolutely love it! It is quite thick and creamy and gives full coverage. It doesn't feel or look cakey though and considering the £7.50 price tag, it is AMAZING! The shade I am wearing here is Porcelain, which is far too light for my skintone, especially now when I am really tanned on my body, but I will be buying a darker shade in the future and use this one for highlighting/contouring.
To add a little bit of colour and a nice glow to my cheeks, I used the Baked Blush in shade Peachy Cheeky (£3.95). It is a gorgeous peachy/coral and I already had one in my collection :) It can be used as blush and highlighter in one, but I wanted more shimmer on the tops of my cheekbones, so I applied some of the shimmery beige shade from the Beauty Book.
On my lips, I am wearing the Moisturising Lipstick in shade Party In The Buff* (£3.95). It is the perfect peachy nude and it feels very hydrating.
Finished look :)
