Pink Makeup Look and Nails for Valentine's Day

Ooops I did it again... I just can't resist wearing pink on Valentine's Day. Pink lips, pink and violet eye makeup, pink nails... I love it! I was worried that it might be a bit too much, but I think it looks ok :) I am not too sure about the lashes though. Let me know what you think :)

FACE: I am wearing Benefit Porefessional, Bourjois Healthy Mix Radiance Reveal Foundation(shade 53) and Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer (shade SX06), Cargo Contour Palette in Malibu and Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Luminous Light (as a setting powder).

LIPS: I used Bourjois Rouge Edition Lipstick in shade 12 Rose Neon. I dabbed it onto the lips for a stain-like effect.

EYES: I used shades X-rated, Coax, Betrayal and Shellshock from Urban Decay Vice 2 Palette, Bourjois Liner Pinceau in Black, benefit They're Real Mascara and Eylure Naturalites Intense 146 falsies. If you click on the link, you will be able to see their shape. Quite cool and unusual.

BROWS: Urban Decay Faint Eye Shadow (from Naked Basics Palette)

On my nails, I am wearing a limited edition shade from Nails Inc. called Sloane Street*. It is a collaboration with The Fashion Innovation Agency and an emerging British designer Teatum Jones. You can buy it here for £12.00. I really like the finish of this shade. It is semi-matte and 2 coats give an opaque colour. You can add a glossy top coat, if you prefer a high shine finish.

There are two more shades available: David Longshaw's Hallam Street & Emma Shipley's Colville Mews. They are all limited edition and only available for 6 weeks, or while stock lasts.

What kind of makeup would you wear for a romantic Valentine's Day date?
