Products I've been loving lately

I don't write "favourites posts" regularly, but I really wanted to share some products I have been loving lately.
As you can see, there is a lot of them, so I should probably avoid writing another long intro (see last post) and crack on with the post... right now :)

I have been using this exfoliating toner twice a day since the end of May and I absolutely love it! Apparently, normal toners are very passé and I do understand why. The difference between using a traditional toner and an exfoliating toner is huge and noticeable after one use! REN Clarifying Toner isn't too strong and it can be used twice a day, even by those with sensitive skin. It removes dead skin cells, reduces the appearance of pores and helps to get rid of breakouts and other imperfections. After a week of  using it religiously, I can see a massive improvement in my skin and I would definitely recommend it, if you want to explore the world of exfoliating toners. I am also trying the Clarins Gentle Exfoliator and I will be sharing more detailed reviews of both products in a separate post.
I really want to try something stronger, like the P50 Lotion or Pixi Glow Tonic, but they are not available online :(

This product doesn't really need an introduction. It has been reviewed by most bloggers and praised by skincare gurus. I already mentioned it in my skincare routine post, but I will say it again - it is amazing! It feels very luxurious, removes all my makeup and daily grime and smells incredible. I also love using it as a face mask, if my skin needs a boost of radiance and hydration.

I always switch between a couple different face creams and one of my current favourites is the oh-so-affordable Skin Blossom Face Moisturiser. It is enriched with antioxidant rich Acai, Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter and Jojoba Oil. It is light, hydrating and suitable for all skin types. Skin Blossom is a cruelty free brand and all their products are vegan and certified by the Soil Association.

I have been a big fan of Aussie products for years and I adore their conditioners and 3 minute treatments. Miracle Shine is my favourite range from the brand and I usually have a bottle of the conditioner in the shower. It is a lovely, purse friendly product, perfect for those who want to add shine to their hair. It makes my hair feel soft and nourished, without weighing it  down. You can usually get it cheaper in supermarkets, or pick it up in Boots during their 3 for 2 offer.

I was very intrigued by this product and its soy milk content, made me want to try it. The formula contains Avocado Oil, Jojoba Oil, Chamomile Extract, Wheat Protein and Pro-Vitamin B and it is meant to hydrate, strengthen, nourish and protect. I can't really rave about a shampoo, but I have been reaching for this one recently and I love using it.

I am also loving the light soy conditioner, especially when the ends of my hair are feeling a bit dry. I use a shampoo, follow with a creamy conditioner, rinse my hair, towel-dry it and spray this miracle worker allover my hair, making sure to massage it into my scalp as well.
It really helps to keep my hair hydrated and smells very nice.

I was kindly sent this gorgeous dry oil last weekend, but I already fell in love with it and ordered another bottle from feelunique :) haha. That's how much I liked it! It is currently reduced from £12.00 to £8.40, so I had to take advantage of the offer. I have been using it on my décolletage, arms and legs, whilst enjoying the sunshine outside. (I was wearing SPF too obviously). It smells like fresh oranges and feels very luxurious, making my skin super soft. It contains six active plant oils, including orange essential oil and vitamin E.
It comes in a spray bottle, so the application is totally  hassle free. I would definitely recommend it, if you are looking for a light, affordable, multipurpose oil.

Benefit Sunbeam (full size £19.50)
I rediscovered this little highlighter last weekend, when I was looking for something with gold hues. I know that some people struggle with blending it, but I adore the way it looks on my cheekbones! I noticed that it works much better applied over light, dewy foundations and I try to avoid powdering my skin, if I want to go for a liquid highlighter, like Sun Beam. It is a perfect gold shade, with subtle shimmer and an illuminating finish. Perfect for summer, to create that bronzed goddess look. I might even purchase the full size, when my sample is finished.

I can't describe how much I love this product! It is a primer, but it works wonders as a natural looking bronzer. It has a creamy, mousse-like consistency and blends onto the skin like a dream, creating a gorgeous bronzed complexion. I like applying it with my fingers to achieve a natural, flawless effect. It suits even the palest skin tones and won't make you look orange. It is currently on offer in Boots and you can pick it up for £6.99! Bargain! I haven't tried Chanel's Bronzing base, but from the swatches I have seen, Bourjois offering is less orange and more cool toned than it's more expensive alternative. Oh, and it smells of chocolate! Amazing!

I mentioned it many times, but the Vichy Dermablend foundation is my saviour, when I am going through hormonal breakouts etc. I have a lot of scarring and pigmentation on some areas of my face and this foundation covers all of it, without looking cakey. It really "does what it says on the tin", gives 12h+ of flawless wear and makes me feel confident about my skin. I make sure to use it very sparingly on the ares of my face that don't need too much coverage, and build it up on the problem areas. I am also using the stick version and the setting powder and I will be sharing my reviews soon.

I have been reaching for this cream eye shadow base a lot, especially when I can't be bothered to do full eye makeup. I sweep this across my eyelids, add a coat of mascara and I am ready to go! It is a gorgeous gold shade and it's formula is incredibly creamy, pigmented and long lasting. It doesn't crease on me at all and I highly recommend it.

I won this beautiful compact in a twitter giveaway and I am addicted!!!  As you can see on the photo above, I hit the pan on it already! I have been using it nearly every day, as a foundation or a setting powder. Used on it's own, it gives light-medium coverage and mattifies the skin, without making it feel dry. Used as a setting powder, it gives a gorgeous, even finish and adds extra coverage. The texture of this powder feels like velvet, applies like a dream and gives a flawless, smooth finish. I am seriously addicted to it and it is possibly the best multipurpose face powder I have ever tried!

I bought this palette last year, because I fell in love with the packaging. The full Glamour Daze Collection was hard to resist to be honest :) I am glad I picked it up, because the colours in it are beautiful! The palette contains five eye shadows: Glamour Light, Retrospeck, Honesty,Cognac and Sketch. I have been reaching for  this palette to create subtle smokey eye looks and my favourite shade must be Sketch.

YSL Rouge Volupte Lipstick in shade 09 Pink Caress (£23.50)
I received this beautiful lipstick for Valentines Day and I love it! It is a beautiful pink shade and it feels very luxurious on the lips. The packaging is to die for and I would be happy to receive one YSL lipstick for every occasion :) haha.

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in shade Lovesick (£7.99)
I adore the formula of this product! It is very hydrating and adds a gorgeous flush of colour to the lips. Lovesick is the only shade I own at the moment, but I am planning to buy more soon :)

Laura Mercier Lip Glace in shade Sweetheart (£18.50)
I don't think I would have paid full price for this product, but I was very happy to see it in the gift set I bought from the Space NK sale in December. I adore the high-shine finish of this lip gloss and shade Sweetheart compliments my skin tone beautifully. The formula is non sticky and smells like a delicious cake/biscuit. Oh my... I love it!

Wow! It was a long post, but I really enjoyed writing it :) Have you tried any of the products I mentioned?
