Quick natural makeup look with cream eyeshadows

Hi everyone.
I haven't been wearing much makeup lately, simply because of the depressing weather, but If I decide to slap something on my face, I try to keep it simple. I have been wearing MAC Sculpting creams and Ginvera BB cream* as a base. I use Liz Earle concealer* to cover dark circles and blemishes, Clarins Odyssey Face Palette* to get  a nice matte finish and Look Beauty brow kit* to tame my eyebrows. To add some colour to my cheeks I have been reaching for Jemma Kidd Cheek Duo in shade Desert Sand/Plum. The colours are very dark and pigmented so I only need one delicate sweep and I am done. On my lips I am wearing a peachy shade from Lily Lolo called Demure and Look Beauty lip liner* in shade Tangerine Cream.
I used to hate cream eye shadows, but when I noticed a Jemma Kidd Quad, named.... METALLICA, I had to have it :) I really like the consistency and colour payoff of all the shades and I used it a coupe of times for a hint of colour and shine on my eyelids. My current mascara is the Falsies by Maybelline. I am not a big fan of it, but I will use it up. It clumps, smudges and I don't like the brush.

I wish I could wear cream eyeshadows but I have slightly oily lids and the creasing I experiencing is just depressing

  16. I've been doing the same, for some reason I haven't wanted much on my face at the moment. I'll have to try that Ginerva BB as I've heard only good things about it. Do you find that the Liz Earle concealer works very well for dark circles? I know you say you use it on them, but is it very effective? Just asking because I can't seem to find a good enough concealer for the under-eye area.

    1. If my dark circles are not really bad, it works really well, but if they are extreme (like in this post), you can see that they are still visible. I really like thsi concealer though, it is creamy and light.
