Brand Spotlight: Crownbrush (Makeup)

You might remember my Brand Spotlight post about Crownbrush (here), featuring some of their brushes and their amazing brush cleaner. I still love them and use them very often, but today I want to focus on Crownbrush makeup. Yes, they do makeup and... they actually have quite a wide selection of palettes. They are also releasing new liquid foundations very soon and I had a chance to try them before the official launch.

Everyday Makeup Look / The Face Of Fragrance Direct Entry

I very rarely enter blogger competitions, but I couldn't possibly ignore this one :) 'The Face Of Fragrance Direct Competition' is hosted by Fragrance Direct (one of my favourite online shopping destinations) and The Sunday Girl (one of my favourite beauty bloggers), so it would be rude not to take part :) I wasn't sure what type of entry I should go for, but I thought that showing you my 'Everyday Makeup Look' in a form of a step by step tutorial would be perfect. Let me know what you think :)

NEW Makeup Revolution Palettes!

I was pleasantly surprised when these new Makeup Revolution Palettes landed on my desk. The brand launched recently, but they are bringing more new products out already! Fantastic! The best bit - it's all cheap as chips, but the quality is incredible for the price! The new launches include five 18 colour eyeshadow palettes, two 8 colour blush & contour palettes, two 8 colour cover and conceal palettes, five 5 colour baked eye shadow palettes and two new bronzers. You can find all the new releases here, but before you head to the website, take a look at the beautifully pigmented swatches of the products and find out more about the formula etc.

Shellac manicure (at home) with USpicy UV/LED Light

I am one of those unlucky people who have weak nails no matter what they do. I can get them to a point when they aren't paper thin by taking supplements and eating a super healthy diet, but they are still weak, split easily and chip after 1 -2 days when I paint them with nail polish. That's why I decided to give Shellac a go, when I was kindly sent the USpicy 24W UV & LED Lamp* to try out.

Massively disappointed with Eyeko Skinny Liquid Liner

After reading tons of rave reviews of the Eyeko Skinny Liner (in black), I was delighted to see it as a magazine freebie in this week's Glamour. £2.00 for a £12.00 liner? Yes, please! I wanted the black one to be honest, but my local supermarkets only had the navy option left. I like experimenting with colours and navy seemed like a perfect Summer shade, so I picked it up and couldn't wait to use it! As soon as I arrived home, I opened the liner and swatched it on my hand. Outcome?

M2 Beaute Perfect Eyes Kit Giveaway (worth £135)

I am all about making my lashes look fuller and longer and I have tried many products to help them grow. My recent discovery is the M2 LASHES Eyelash Activating Serum from the M2 Beaute Perfect Eyes Kit* (£135.00) and I must admit - after just 2 weeks of everyday use, I am starting to notice an improvement! My lashes look slightly thicker and feel stronger (if you can say that about lashes) and I think they are little bit longer too. It is hard to tell, but I can see a difference already. I was kindly sent two of the gift sets. One for me and one to give away to one of my readers :) If you fancy trying this high end set, simply fill in the rafflecopter widget below for a chance to win.

My Sk:n Clinic Glasgow consultation + treatment plan for scarring

sk:n clinic glasgow consultation + treatment plan for scarring

If you read my blog regularly, you will know that I always mention hormonal breakouts on my jawline and neck. I also complain about all the scarring and redness around those areas and any marks left after occasional blemishes on the rest of my face. I didn't really want to take any pills or antibiotics to deal with my problem, so I waited patiently for my hormones to calm down and I think that my skin is finally at the stage when I can deal with all the damage. That's why I was absolutely ecstatic, when I was contacted by www.sknclinics.co.uk who invited me for a consultation at their Glasgow clinic and offered me a course of treatments I might need to get my skin back to normal. I was considering booking an appointment and treatments anyway, so the timing was absolutely perfect. I went for my first visit last Monday and I am happy to report that I decided to go ahead with the treatments.
