NEW Makeup Revolution Palettes!

I was pleasantly surprised when these new Makeup Revolution Palettes landed on my desk. The brand launched recently, but they are bringing more new products out already! Fantastic! The best bit - it's all cheap as chips, but the quality is incredible for the price! The new launches include five 18 colour eyeshadow palettes, two 8 colour blush & contour palettes, two 8 colour cover and conceal palettes, five 5 colour baked eye shadow palettes and two new bronzers. You can find all the new releases here, but before you head to the website, take a look at the beautifully pigmented swatches of the products and find out more about the formula etc.

The Salvation Palettes come in black cardboard boxes with very eye catching designs on the front. The actual palettes are much more luxurious than the 12 colour ones released earlier this year and feel more sturdy and very well made. Retailing at £6.00 they are an absolute bargain, considering the huge selection of colours! You get 12 shimmer shades and 6 matte shades in each one and the pigmentation is insanely good! You can see it on the swatches below. I am impressed.

I haven't tried these on my eyes yet, but the other Makeup Revolution shades last on me for 8-10 hours without a primer and all day with a good primer. Some of the colours are almost identical to the ones in other palettes and the formula feels the same, so I am pretty sure the lasting power will be similar. Unlike the cheaper Makeup Revolution Palettes, the Salvation range features large full size mirrors!

What You Waiting For? Palette* (£6.00)
This palette is perfect for those who love neutral and bronze shades. It's like a mixture of Naked 1,2 and 3 in one! I can see myself using it a lot! I haven't experienced any fallout when I was swatching the colours with my finger or the applicator, but there is a bit of fallout if you apply them with a fluffy brush, which is normal with most eye shadows.

Girls On Film Palette* (£6.00)
This option features mostly neutrals with an addition of subtle purple and grey hues. All the colours look like they would suit every skin tone and I love how they look on the swatches. I can't wait to create a nice makeup look with this palette. Again, I only experienced some fallout, when using a fluffy brush. I prefer applying shadows with a firm applicator or my finger for maximum colour impact!

Blush & Contour Palette in Hot Spice* (£6.00)
As a self confessed blush and highlighter addict, I was seriously excited about this beaut! The compact features 8 super pigmented powders consisting of shimmer and matte blushers, a merged baked blusher and and merged baked highlighter. This colour option is very warm toned and all the colours have coral/orange hues (except the highlighter). The formula fells almost velvety and I found it very easy to blend. The colour stayed on my cheeks for 6 hours, which is great for  a budget brand. I am in love with the full concept of the 8 colour face palettes and I can see them selling out quickly!

Baked Eeyshadow Palette in Bang Bang* (£2.50)
This product isn't as exciting as the other ones, but it is a great dupe for the small Bourjois palettes. Bang Bang is a combination for the perfect grey, black and silver smokey eye and the pigmentation of all the colours is really good. I actually forgot to swatch it, but... Makeup Revolution have swatches of all their product on each product page! Amazing, eh?

I am seriously impressed with all the new Makeup Revolution gems and I think that they are amazing value for money! They launched yesterday and you can buy them from www.makeuprevolutionstore.com.
