GLOSSYBOX REVIEW- FEBRUARY 2012

This is the first time I received my Glossybox in the original powder pink packaging. Two previous ones were special editions in red and hot pink, so I have a nice little collection now :)

Here is what I received this month:

1.DuWop Venom Gloss- combination of subtle tinted lip gloss with DuWop's Lip Venom- tingly gloss that gives you fuller bee stung lips. AMAZING STUFF!!! This is definitely my favourite from this month's box. I have got naturally big lips and I was in shock how big they were after using this magic lipgloss :) Highly recommended for anybody who wants fuller, sexier lips in a second!

2.Dr Bronner Magic Liquid Soap- a combination of organic extra virgin coconut, olive, jojoba and hemp oils, together with pure essential oilsThe peppermint essential oil tingles the body and clears the mind. Because therapeutically peppermint oil is a mild stimulant it increases vitality and clarity.
I am not sure what I will use it for, probably to clear my airways before bedtime :)

3.Paul Mitchell Superskinny Relaxing Balm-intense hydrating treatment for your hair- very nice smell and consistency, left my hair nice and soft.

4.BM Beauty Pure Mineral Eyeshadow-  cruelty free and suitable for vegetarians and vegans. very nice earthy colour, used with a primer the colour is very intense and long lasting.

5.Como Shambhala  Invigorate Body Lotion- a revitalising blend of essential oils that puts you in a perfectly uplifted mood- It smells absolutely amazing, absorbs quickly leaving skin soft and hydrated.

Duwop venom Gloss- full size £16/10.4ml

BM beauty pure mineral eyeshadow- full size £7.00/2g

Como Shambhala Invigorate Body lotion- full size £20.00/300ml

Dr Bronner Magic Liquid Soap- full size £5.49/236ml

Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Relaxing Balm- full size £15.25/200ml

FLORAL KIMONO - NOTD- NEON TIGER PRINT AND... GIVEAWAY WINNER ANNOUNCED

Believe it or not, but I managed to find this gorgeous piece for £4.99 from H&M!!!
It was also available in black , but it sold out quickly and I didn't get a chance to order one.

Would you wear a kimono? Or just like my husband, you consider it a bedroom garment?

I wore it with a black skirt.

I like neon colours and I decided to wear neon orange tights and I painted my nails with neon orange  tiger print :)

I used:
Models Own Neon Sorbet Nail Polish as a base
black MUA polish for the print with Konad plate M57
and a glossy top coat from Bourjois

The winner of my last H&M and Rimmel giveaway is...

I will contact the winner via email today x

LEOPARD PRINT- BLACK AND GOLD- WITH KONAD

I don't want my blog to turn into a nail blog :) but I just love sharing my latest nail polish purchases and creations with you :)
Today I went for black and gold leopard print look.
All products used, are on the last picture. I love my Konad stamping kit and I ordered more plates with different designs. They are so easy to use, and you can create so many looks with just one plate and many colour combinations.

I ♥ MAKING BATH BOMBS

I love bath bombs, and I used to be addicted to Lush ones, but... I figured that it will be cheaper and more fun to make them myself. I bought all the ingredients and "equipment"  to make them and here is the final effect. I will try to add a tutorial in the future.
The fresh ones I photographed, are scented with vanilla and lemon grass and decorated with rose petals :)

In a wicker basket, with cute tissue paper and ribbons they make a great gift x

Strong natural nails- Trind nail repair treatment review

Hi everyone.
I've been using Trind nail treatment* for over two weeks now and I can finally share my thoughts on it with all of you.
Trind is a Dutch company that sells nail and hand care products. Some of you may be familiar with the brand or this nail treatment, as it was included in Carmine and Glossybox a while ago.
I wasn't a subscriber back then, but I was sent this product by Trind for review purposes.
If you want to have a look at their website, here it is: www.trind.com
You can get this treatment from The Garden Pharmacy that sent this product to me.
It retails at £12.95 for a 9ml bottle and you can buy it by clicking here
It's designed to make your nails strong by using a special formula that doesn't dry out your nail, but keeps the moisture in and makes the nails look healthy and pampered.
You need to apply the treatment to your nails every day for a period of two weeks ( before applying again, remove the former coat). After two weeks its recommended as a weekly treatment to keep your nails strong. It has got a nice glossy finish and it looks very natural.

My nails are naturally very weak, they break and split and I really struggle to grow them.
I need to admit that it worked wonders for me. My nails are stronger and I managed to grow them and didn't break one nail in the past two weeks-just so you know-I do a lot of housework every day and I have got a baby boy that is very very active, so my hands are in extreme use 24/h.
I definitely recommend this product. Its worth the price and it will probably last me for over a year, as after using it for two weeks there is still about 90% of the product left.

*this product is a PR sample. my review is 100% honest

CUTE MOUSE RING

I just had to share this gorgeous little ring with you! It really is the cutest ring I have ever seen. I received it today and I don't want to take it off- ever! :) haha
