I wasn't going to write an update for this week, but I had a midwife appointment and an unplanned scan, so there is a lot to talk about and I like rambling about my pregnancy, haha :) It's a long one, so grab a cuppa.
Don't you love a good nail polish? The 'one coat wonder' type that dries pretty quickly and lasts well on the nails? Well... The new Bourjois La Laque Nail Varnishes* (£6.49) offer exactly that and they come in really cool packaging too. Like all Bourjois products, these are also very affordable and often on offer in Boots and Superdrug. Amazing!
I am pretty sure that everyone and their mother managed to get their hands on a free sample of the stunning Burberry Kisses Lip Colour back in March/April. It was possibly the best twitter campaign ever. I opted for a beautiful nude shade called Nude Pink (05) and I am in love!
Oh wow, only 15 weeks left till my due date. I am not sure, if I am ready, haha :) Having a cheeky little toddler who loves crawling into our bed in the middle of the night isn't ideal when you have a newborn and it's something I am really worried about. I am also worried that I won't have enough milk for the baby, like the last time. Scared that I will end up having a c-section, scared of the pain etc.
I am not going to lie... I love trying new beauty gadgets. That's why I was very intrigued by the cute little silicone lip enhancers. I have seen many reviews on blogs and youtube and they were very positive, so I thought I will try one of the little contraptions. Honestly, I was just curious. I have full lips naturally, but as a beauty blogger, I just love trying new things. Unfortunately... I didn't realise that I could bruise my face!
Exfoliation is a big part of my skincare routine and there are many different product I use for this purpose. I like exfoliating toners, gentle scrubs, peels, masks etc, but I just love the velvety smooth feeling I can achieve after using an exfoliating powder. I've tried four different ones and to be perfectly honest, they are all fantastic!
I rave about Crownbrush Highlighters* a lot, but I haven't actually reviewed them properly on the blog. Not sure why, because I am absolutely obsessed with them!!! There are two shades available, but one of them became my Holy Grail and made me neglect my beloved theBalm Mary Lou Manizer :)
I don't get to review gadgets a lot, but I am all for it when I do have the opportunity to try something new. As a blogger and a photography enthusiast, I cannot live without my laptop, iPad, SLR, an array of memory cards and other bits and bobs. I was like that even before In started blogging. The item I am reviewing today is a Logitech Ultrathin Magnetic Clip-On Keyboard* for iPad Mini and iPad Mini with Retina Display and it is a nifty little gadget.
