I am a couple of days late with my 'May Favourites' but they are finally here :) I can't believe we are almost halfway through the year and my baby boy will be 3 years old on the 24th of June! Oh my... I am getting old :) haha. Back to the subject - I have a nice selection of skincare, haircare, bodycare and makeup to share with you and a beautiful fragrance as well.
Merumaya Skin Brightening Exfoliating Peel* (£19.00)
I mentioned this products in a recent 'Weekend Pamper' post and I am blown away by the results! Every time I use this mask, my skin feels soft and plump and I notice a big difference in the texture as well. It adds radiance, luminosity, removes dead skin cells, smooths imperfections and makes my complexion look much clearer. No, my skin isn't perfect and I have a lot of scarring, but this product definitely helps to fade scars. I will be having glycolic acid peels at my local sknclinic soon and my nurse told me that this mask will help a lot as well, prepping my skin for the treatments. I can't recommend it enough. It is fantastic and affordable!
Healgel Intensive* (£37.50)
Another product I have been using to make my skin better is HealGel Intensive - a scientifically-designed, multi-purpose skin rescue gel. It has a light texture and I use it as a serum allover my face at night time. It helps to speed up skin recovery from various problems - spots, acne, scarring, sunburn, irritation etc. If your skin is under any sort of stress, it will definitely helps to sooth and protect it. I love it and my skin feels amazing when I use this beautifully scented gel. It contains arnica and madecassoside and it provides an instant cooling effect as well, so you feel like it is working right away.
Bee Good Honey & Wild Flax Daily Moisturiser* (£19.50)
This moisturiser is best suited for for normal / combination skin and I have been using it during the day after cleansing, toning and applying a light serum. It is a light formula, that sinks into the skin quickly, leaving it soft and smooth. It contains British wild flower honey to moisturise, British propolis for antibacterial and antioxidant action, vitamin E to prevent free radical damage and British camelina oil to protect the skin.
Nip+Fab Glycolic Fix Pads* (£12.95)
These have been an absolute godsend for me and I have to thank Terri for recommending them to me. I got them from ASOS full price but Boots have them on offer for £8.66 HERE. I normally use an exfoliating toner (REN Clarifying Lotion or Clarins Gentle Exfoliator) but these are totally fuss free, because you already get the solution on a pad, ready to be used. No cotton wool pads needed and each of the little pad is enough for my full face and neck. I use these 3-4 times a week, or every day if my skin is a bit crazy. The formula contains Glycolic acid to resurface the skin, Hyaluronic acid to moisture and refresh and Blue daisy to soothe and calm. I am seriously impressed with these and I think I will stick to them, instead of repurchasing my go to exfoliating toners - which are fab as well by the way and make a massive difference, but I just prefer the pads at the moment.
FAST Shampoo & Conditioner Set* (£29.99)
I agreed to review the F.A.S.T. duo ages ago, but it took me ages to test, because I was expected to use it every single day for 30 days. I normally wash my hair every 4-5 days, so it would be a massive change for me. That's why I decided to use it every 2 days. During the 30 day period, I used up the full conditioner and half of the shampoo, which is always the case with other brands as well.
How does it work?
The duo is formulated with a special blend of natural herbs and essential amino acids which feed the hair shaft with healthy nutrients and promote a 99% faster hair growth. If your hair normally grows approximately half an inch a month, you can expect to see it grow to up to 1 inch after one month of daily use of F.A.S.T. The formula is kind to the scalp, leaves no product build up and may help with minor scalp problems like dandruff and itchy scalp. The new version of F.A.S.T. does not contain Parabens, Sulfates or DEA, it is suitable for all hair types (including afro) and mild enough to be used on kids.
My Results:
As I mentioned before, I only used it every second day, but my hair grew quicker anyway, my scalp feels much healthier and my hair is stronger and has more life. I am impressed. I was trying to get rid of the remains of my accidental ombre (I was blonde 4 years ago and I still had some lighter, damaged hair left at the ends) without cutting my hair too short and I was finally able to do it. Last week I chopped 2 inches off and my hair is now my natural colour allover :) Yay! If I didn't use F.A.S.T. I would probably have to wait another month. My hair grows really quickly naturally, but I needed a little boost. The scent is lovely too and lingers in my hair all day. BIG THUMBS UP FROM ME!

Organic Surge Tropical Bergamot Shower Gel* (£4.35)
I tend to use shower gels to wash my hands and I simply refill my Organic Surge hand wash bottle (with a pump) with an organic shower gel/body wash I like the scent of. The Tropical Bergamot Shower Gel is very gentle and it smells incredible! It contains sweet orange and bergamot essential oils to soothe the skin and glycerine to attract moisture, leaving my hands soft and hydrated. I used up the full tube in May.
PS. I noticed that my local Co-Op stock a small selection of Organic Surge products now! YAY!

Vichy Dermablend Total Body Foundation* (£29.75, £19.83 on offer)
Vichy Dermablend is my go to foundation when I need high coverage and the new total body version is just as good as the original. It is resistant to rubbing, sweat and water and it offers 16h wear time. I realise that it is made for your body, but I have been using it on my face, neck and decolletage to cover scarring and blemishes. It is fantastic and feels lighter than the face version in my opinion. The Dermablend Total Body Corrective Foundation comes with SPF15 and it is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive. It is also hypoallergenic, fragrance-free and non-comedogenic. Perfect! I love the way it looks on my skin, especially when I set it with the Dermablend Powder. It really lasts all day, even in extreme heat! You get 100ml of product and a little goes a long way, making it great value for money, especially when it's on offer. I love Vichy and their foundations and I can't recommend them enough for those who struggle with acne, scarring and general imperfections.
La Roche-Posay ROsaliac CC Creme* (£19.00, £13.00 on offer)
On days when I don't need full coverage I have been reaching for the Rosaliac CC cream by La Roche-Posay. It was formulated for those with sensitive skin , prone to all types of redness. I've always had a bit of redness around my nose and on my cheeks, but I noticed that I am getting little red veins around those areas and it is becoming a real issue. It is genetic and my mum has it, so I can't do anything about it. Rosaliac CC helps to neutralise the redness and it has a light and silky formula enriched with ultra soothing La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water and Ambophenol. It also contains SPF 30, which is always a bonus. Just like Vichy's offering, this base is paraben-free, hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic and it is suitable for all skin types. It can be used instead of moisturiser as well, because it feels very hydrating and soothing.
Benefit Hoola Bronzer* (£23.50)
I have been obsessed with this stunning bronzer and I love the way it looks on my skin. You can read more about it in my review and see how it looks like on my face. It is amazing!
Revlon Lip Butter Tutti Frutti (£7.99)
I very rarely repurchase lip products, but this baby is one of my all time favourite lip balms/butters and I needed it back in my life when I used up my last one. It glides onto the lips beautifully, provides stunning colour and keeps my pout hydrated. Tutti Frutti is a perfect Summer shade and if you love coral lips, you need it in your life. (Currently on buy 1 get 2nd 1/2 price offer in Boots).
Paul & Joe Blotting Papers (similar here)
I stocked up on these last Summer and I still have a couple of packets left :) I have been using them during the hot weather to keep shine at bay and they are brilliant!
Bourjois Volume 1 Seconde Mascara*(£9.99 or £6.99 on offer)
Bourjois never fail to impress me with their products and their new mascara blew my socks off! It adds volume and length, while separating the lashes perfectly. No clumps, no flaking, no smudging. There is also a waterproof option available and it comes in the same packaging, but with mint green/teal detail.

Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb* (£51.95)
My favourite scent of the month is definitely this beaut! It is sooo addictive! I reviewed it fully here. I've also been loving Gingembre by Roger & Gallet, but I decided to put it away for my holiday :)
Have you tried any of the products I've been loving lately? Do you have any Summer fragrance recommendations for me? I love trying new scents, so I am open to suggestions.
