I am finally reviewing the  most beautiful lipstick in my collection- the YSL Rouge Volupte in shade 02 Sensual Silk.
I have been thinking about buying one for ages, but in my opinion it is very expensive and I just couldn't justify paying over £20 for a lipstick.
After months of telling myself no- I finally bought it and went for a gorgeous nude shade.
I actually used a feelunique discount code I got from lovely Estée from www.essiebutton.com
so I paid just over £20.00 for this beaut :)

First of all, the packaging is absolutely beautiful! There is not a lipstick on the market as beautiful as YSL Rouge Volupte and there is no doubt about it.
It has a special place on my dressing table and looks like a piece of art! Amazing!
All brands should consider making their packaging pretty! We all love pretty things, don't we?

The beautiful packaging would mean nothing if the actual lipstick wasn't good, but I can honestly say that the texture and colour payoff of YSL Rouge Volupte is great!
It feels silky smooth on the lips and glides on beautifully. It also hydrates and protects (SPF 15). Perfection!

The shade I got is called Sensual Silk and it is the most beautiful nude shade I have ever seen.
It is a creamy, cool toned pink beige/nude with a satin finish and looks very natural on my lips.

There is only one con- it stays put for 2-3 hours, or if I am drinking tea or eating it comes off easily.
I guess that most nude lipstick are like that though :)
Apparently the darker shades stay on the lips for  a bit longer. Sounds logical :)

Overall, I am in love with this lipstick and I am planning to buy more shades  in the future.
