When I first heard about the Janjira 24K Gold Rituals range I was immediately drawn the the gold sparkle in the serum, as there is something very luxurious about it. Once I did some more research, I found out that the gold not only looks pretty, but it actually provides anti-ageing and brightening effects and helps to add a youthful, radiant glow to the skin.
I have been using the 24K GOLD RITUALS REJUVENATING ELIXIR* (£46.00) morning and night as a serum (after cleansing and toning) and it makes my skin feel lovely. It contains Niacinamide (to help moisturise), Ginseng Root Extract (to soothe and improve the texture and complexion of the skin) and of course Gold (anti-ageing and brightening). The elixir has a lovely texture and it absorbs quickly, helping to keep the skin firm and improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. I also like the packaging, as you can see all the flecks of gold in the formula through the clear glass bottle and the pipette helps with getting the right amount of product. It feels super luxurious every time I use it.
After using the serum/elixir I follow with the 24K GOLD RITUALS HYDRATING MOISTURISER*(£52.00). It comes in a gold jar with a dispenser, which is fab for keeping it more hygienic. It's a lightweight, but very hydrating moisturiser and it feels soothing and indulgent . It is infused with 24K gold, Ginseng Extract, Swertia Chirata Extract, Sunflower Seed Oil, Shea Butter, Vitamin E, Sodium Hyaluronate and a combination of peptides to help repair the skin, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, add moisture and radiance. I use it morning and night allover my face and neck and my skin is left feeling soft, supple and very radiant. It's such a nice formula. It works well under makeup as well, giving me a perfect base for foundation.
