Afternoon Tea with Liz Earle

Guess what my lovelies? I went to my first ever event! Yep... After saying no to events for over 4 years, I finally kicked my anxiety's butt and got over my fear of meeting new people and being socially awkward. I just couldn't say no to afternoon tea with Liz Earle, as her skincare products have a special place in my heart! It was such a lovely event and I was worried for no reason, because everyone was lovely and I am now feeling more comfortable going to any future blogger events.

You probably already know this, but Liz Earle recently launched her new book - SKIN and she talked to us about it, sharing her favourite recipes and secrets for radiant skin. I am really looking forward to reading the book and trying out the 6 week wellbeing  plan. All skin friendly foods are my favourite thing in the world, so I will definitely enjoy it.

The event took place at one of my favourite venues in Glasgow - the Blythswood Square Hotel. I actually reviewed their amazing afternoon tea on the blog HERE, if you want to have a read. It's sooo good!

While we were enjoying some amazing healthy smoothies and naughty sweet treats, we got to try some new Liz Earle products and have a peek at the Christmas 2016 Collection (which I forgot to photograph). The two body oils pictured above are to die for and the new Overnight Mask and Botanical Essence No9 Perfume are amazing too.

Overall, the event was absolutely amazing and very relaxed and it was pretty awesome to be able to chat to Liz Earle about her new book and products. She is sooo, sooo lovely and she looks even more beautiful in real life! I should have probably taken a photo with her, but everyone was just enjoying the relaxed afternoon tea and I completely forgot :)

I will be reviewing the products soon, so keep your eyes peeled. The mask is a miracle worker!

Most importantly, I am super proud of myself for not letting my anxiety stop me from going to the event. That's one thing ticked off my 30 before 30 list :)
