Classic Black Wrap Dress

Can we take a moment to acknowledge that our British Summer is officially over? Was that hot week back in May supposed to be it? I am wearing black tights, cardigans and ankle boots in July! Yep... We couldn't even take the photos yesterday after I got ready, as it was raining ALL DAY!  Are you wearing Autumn outfits too?

As you can see, I am standing in the rain, haha :) I put a hat on to keep my hair dry, as I washed it in the morning and I wasn't going to let it get soaking wet. The gorgeous dress I am wearing is by Manon Baptiste and it's from Navabi. It was one of the last ones they had in stock and I got it in a smaller size, but it still fits and I am obsessed with it. They have similar ones still available though (here, and here).

It's a simple wrap dress, made with thick jersey and the ties are really long, so you can either tie them at the front or at the back. I tied them at the front, slightly to the side. It's such a classic and versatile dress. I will definitely get a lot of wear out of it. It has a lot of stretch as well, so I can wear it now with a cami underneath and if I am ever back to my pre-baby size, I will just tie it tighter and the v-neck will actually cover my boobs, haha :)

The bottom of the dress is adorned with a lovely lace trim, which makes it extra special. As I am wearing black tights, you can't really see it properly when the dress is on, but if I had bare legs, it would be more visible.

I am wearing my old black ankle boots with silver hardware. They are super cheap and you can get them on ebay. I have a red pair as well and they are soooo comfy!
