Floral Dr Martens Boots

I tend to pick quite elegant shoes these days (preferably black ankle boots), but I have always wanted to own a pair of floral Dr. Martens boots so when the opportunity arose, I jumped at the chance. Was it the right choice?

YES! I am in love with the design and the boots look even better in real life than I imagined. They still need some 'breaking in' but I find them quite comfortable with thicker socks on. The model I picked is called Vintage Rose in Cherry Red* and it features 'Softy T' upper leather which is softer, therefore much more comfortable.

I love the burgundy colour of the leather and the little flowers add a nice feminine touch to the tough industrial feel of Dr. Martens boots. So pretty! The sole is welted using Dr. Martens iconic yellow stitching thread to make the boots last you a lifetime. There is nothing better than a pair of good quality boots for Winter, although these can be worn all year round. When I was a teenager I lived in classic black Docs. They are durable, easy to clean and once you break them in, they are the most comfortable shoes ever!

I really hope I get a lot of wear out of these. What would you wear them with?

You can buy Dr Martens boots from Brassingtons.
