Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush - Mood Exposure

I couldn't resist ordering another stunning Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush (£28.00) and I settled on Mood Exposure this time. I am still obsessed with Radiant Magenta, but I wanted something for days when I don't have too much time to do my makeup and need a multi-tasking cheek colour.

Mood Exposure is a cool toned soft plum shade combined with Mood Light Ambient Lighting Powder. Together, they create a lovely plummy brown colour and I am really pleased with the way it looks on my skin tone. I can use it as a blush, bronzer and contour, which is brilliant!

I was surprised to see Temptalia's review with very warm toned swatches and an almost coral hue, because mine looks totally different! I can see that mine has much more of the actual lighting powder than the blush colour in the pan though, so this could be the reason.

The formula is beautiful, finely milled and silky, stays on my cheeks for 8h+ and adds a nice glow to the skin. You can read a more detailed review of the formula in my previous post. I am obsessed with Hourglass products. They are incredible!

Have you purchased any of the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blushers yet? I need one more in my collection and I will be happy. It will be one of the coral shades, possibly Dim Infusion :)

  4. I have Mood Exposure, mine is more like your's than Temptalia's. I like it but I do think it is a little bit over hyped, maybe the Lighting Powder it contains works better on certain skin tones or maybe I was expecting more of a highlightery glow, not too sure, but the colour is nice and the deep plum shade does compliment my skin tone well!

  11. I have the radiant magenta and diffused heat and contemplating on getting the mood exposure as well. I have swatched it a few times at Sephora and I see the particular blush in each store looks unique and I guess it all depends on how marbelized it is infused with the ambient powder.

  15. Mood Exposure is beautiful Sandra, I think I'd probably choose one of the lighter more muted shades such as that if I was buying one.
