Bobbi Brown Nectar & Nude Eye Palette

I've been lusting after this palette since the launch of the Nectar & Nude Collection, so the fact that it is finally mine makes me really, really  happy :) I was lucky to be offered a chance to review a beauty product from Debenhams and I didn't have to think twice about my choice :) Surprisingly, this is my first Bobbi Brown product ever, which might sound ridiculous coming from a beauty blogger, but... it looks like I might turn into a Bobbi Brown addict and I totally blame this stunning palette! It features a nice selection of neutrals, with four matte shades and two shimmers and it suits all skin tones and eye colours.

The black packaging is sleek and elegant and the palette comes with a mirror and a good quality double-ended brush. I like the pop of colour on the inside, which makes the palette more Spring/Summer appropriate. The actual eye shadows are perfect all year round and  ideal for those who like subtle eye makeup looks, a defined crease or brown smokey eye. The colours include:

Pale Cream - light matte beige
Soft Buff - warm matte nude
Golden Bronze - light golden bronze with a metallic finish
Pink Bellini - sparkly golden beige
Earth - matte medium brown
Rich Caviar - matte brown/black

The formula of the eye shadows is easy to work with: smooth, nicely pigmented, easy to apply and blend. I have been using the brush included in the palette to work with the colours and it is perfect. The lasting power of the eye shadows is fantastic and they stayed on my eyelids all day, without a primer. I actually prefer using this palette without a primer, because it makes the eye shadows apply much smoother.

The overall tone of the palette is very warm and really complements my skin tone, but it will suit paler and darker skin tones as well.

Overall, I am really impressed with my first Bobbi Brown product and I can see the Nectar & Nude Palette becoming a staple in my makeup collection. It is easy to wear, perfect for travelling and absolutely beautiful. It is pricey, but if you want to treat yourself or someone special to a luxury gift, you should check it out. You can buy it from Debenhams.
