My new signature scent: Serge Lutens Un Bois Vanille

I adore vanilla based scents and since getting my hands on a selection of Laura Mercier Souffle Body Cremes, I have been reaching for the most delicious smelling fragrances to go with the sweet theme. Oh my... Let's just say that I might be slightly obsessed with smelling like a delicious dessert...

The Serge Lutens Un Bois Vanille isn't the cheapest EDP, retailing at a whopping £69.00 for 50ml, but... you can currently get it for £58.65 from Escentual. I used one quick spritz of it this morning  and over 12 hours later it still smells amazing and I am very impressed with its lasting power. The most obvious note of the Un Bois Vanille EDP is obviously Vanilla, but there is also a hint of  liquorice, coconut milk and some woody notes to add depth to this beautiful scent. If you don't like sweet perfumes, you won't fall in love with it, but I would like to point out, that Un Bois Vanille isn't sickly sweet - it is just right.

With its classic bottle design, the luxury Serge Lutens EDP would make a perfect gift for any elegant lady in your life, who likes sweet, but not overpowering fragrances and simplicity!

I am officially a convert and I think I might be ready to forget about my all time favourite Flower By Kenzo for a while and switch to this beautiful and delicious scent!
