NOTD: Messy hearts and camera emergency :)

Hi everyone and happy Friday! Today I attempted a heart manicure and it turned out pretty messy :) haha. It still looks cute though, so I decided to feature it on the blog. I am determined to get better at nail art and I will keep practising, until I can paint perfect hearts on my nails without using a stencil. I used "A Crewed Interest" by Essie as a base and Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine in shade Pomegranate for the hearts. I also added a shiny Seche Vite Top Coat.

Note: I am using an iPad to take my blog photos at the moment, because my DSLR decided to be a pain in the butt.
I am actually very impressed with the quality of the closeups and the way the pictures turned out.
If you don't have a DSLR, there is no need to buy it just to take some product photos.
You can take lovely pictures with a phone or a tablet,  if you put some time and effort into them. Buying a DSLR is not going to make a person who is not into photography a good photographer. I have seen many people wasting money on a £500 camera and their photos are still the same and didn't magically become amazing as soon as they bought a DSLR. It takes time to figure out the settings and different techniques. I am still learning something new about my camera every day and I am never entirely happy with my blog photos. Nobody's perfect :)
