Sigma Beauty Cleansing and Polishing Tool -week one

Sigma Beauty Cleansing and Polishing Tool* from www.beautychamber.co.uk  £34.95

"The cleansing and polishing tool from Sigma Beauty is an electronic cleansing brush tool, with 3 interchangeable brush heads. The tool has 2 rotation speeds and is water resistant.
Attachments Included: Soft brush for daily facial cleansing and polishing, Medium brush for daily all over body exfoliation, Firm brush for deeper body exfoliation of dry areas, such as the elbows, knees and heels."

I have been lusting after a Clarisonic for ages, but I didn't want to spend over £100 on a face brush, especially considering cheaper alternatives available on the market.
One of them is the Sigma Beauty Cleansing and Polishing Tool. It comes at a fraction of the cost of a Clarisonic and it does the same thing. I haven't tried a Clarisonic, so I can't compare them, but I am very happy with the Sigma version.
It comes in a lovely pink case and three brush heads, it is waterproof and has two rotation speeds.

I used it for a week and I can honestly say that it is amazing! My skin feels smoother after each use and it looks more radiant. My makeup looks ten times better now, because the foundation looks flawless on super smooth skin. I can't wait to see the results in a couple of months when my skin is back to normal and not affected by central heating and the cold weather.

I am using the brush as part of my night time skincare routine, after removing most of my makeup with a makeup remover. The cleanser I have been using with the brush is Vichy Normaderm Purifying Cleansing Gel and I am loving this combo!

The brush exfoliates, reduces the appearance of pores and blemishes, helps to control oily areas and makes my skin feel very clean. I noticed all of the above changes after one week of using the Sigma Beauty Cleansing and Polishing Tool  and now I know what the Clarisonic craze is all about :)

I will be updating you after my first month of using the brush and probably after 2 and 3 months.
I haven't experienced the purging stage yet, so fingers crossed it doesn't happen :)

If you are still looking for a great gift for a beauty addict, you can get the Sigma brush from www.beautychamber.co.uk  for only £34.95

  1. Cute!!!! I love how pink it is... and I agree when you said you just couldn't justify forking out so much money to get a Clarisonic when there are so many dupes on the market for cheap; I've had the Olay version for a few months and absolutely love it :)

  2. Wow sounds amazing and a great price too, i love the colour :)

  3. I couldn't justify spending that amount of money on a face brush either @Cassie and Sandra. This sound the business though, I might give this a go,thanks!

  4. OMG I think I need it!

  5. This is so cool. A lot less expensive too. I've wanted to try a Clarasonic for ages but have always been put off my the horror stories :)

  6. Roll on payday! I need this in my life....Christmas present to myself ;-) xx

  7. I completely forgotten about this thing. I saw a video quite sometime ago about this product and now I think I will get it now, cos you remembered me :)
    Thank you ;)

  8. Thanks for that, been thinking of getting a clarisonic, now looking at competition!

  9. This sounds awesome! I don't know how I haven't heard of it sooner :-)

  10. It looks so cute!! I would love a clarisonic or a sigma brush. I wish it was rechargeable though, hate messing with batteries xxx Great photos and review BTw

  11. This does sound good and a cheaper alternative to the Clarisonic (which you know I'm a huge fan of). You won't experience a 'purging' phase, not unless you have anything in your skin to purge. If your skin is relatively clear of toxins & blocked pores then you'll be fine hun xx

  12. This looks really interesting! I have the Clarisonic, and love it, but this is definitely a much more affordable option :)

  13. I didn't realise that Sigma had a Clarisonic dupe available! I ordered the Rio Sonicleanse from Very back in May but it never arrived :( Luckily I got a refund. I may have to look into trying this instead! Great review :)

  14. I loved this review, and I am holding you responsible that i accidentally bought one too ;) I hope mine has the same effect on my skin.

  15. I have been interested in a clairsonic for a while but you're right, this is a fraction of the price! I just worry that I'll do it for a while and stick at it, but then get bored because it takes up time. Do you think it takes long? or do you think the results are enough to keep you interested in it? Sorry for all the questions! also, I'm having a Christmas giveaway if you'd like to join :) http://improvisedintentions.blogspot.co.uk/2012/12/christmas-giveaway.html

Hope you have a lovely Christmas! xx

  16. I have been really wanting a clarisonic for a while now but after seeing this post I think I will just have to purchase this sigma one! I love how its so pink aswell.
