Clarins Eye Quartet Mineral Palette in shade 05 Violet

"A collection of wet and dry formula eye shadow quartets, each containing four toning shades of satin and iridescent long lasting, super silky and blendable eye colour. Presented in Clarins' signature pale gold compact with mirror and two quality foam tipped applicators; one for defining the eye and one for shading and blending."

Today I have another Clarins eyeshadow palette review for you :)
I reviewed the gorgeous Rosewood palette here and the limited edition Odyssey palette here and I need to admit - they are the most used eye products in my makeup collection at the moment and I reach for them nearly every single day.
What makes them special and easy to use  is the great selection of colours in each quad and the long lasting, easy to blend formula.

The new addition to my little collection is the beautiful Eye Quartet in shade 05 Violet.
I used to wear purple smokey eye very often when I was younger, but for some reason, I started to go for more neutral shades in the past couple of years. I love violet shades and I like to experiment with makeup so I've been using  this palette quite a lot lately.

What I love about this quad is the silkiness of all the shades. I can apply them easily and create an elegant look in 2 minutes, thanks to an easy to blend texture.
The quartet includes an illuminating pearl white, two base shades in light and medium violet and a dark purple liner colour. All the shades are fairly pigmented and look beautiful wet or dry.
I prefer to use them dry, for a more subtle smokey eye look.

There is no creasing and the lasting power is amazing- 12h without a primer. Basically, my eye makeup stays put all day, until I remove it. That's why I love Clarins eye shadows so much.

I adore the design, the gold compact is simply gorgeous and it comes with a big mirror inside.

Overall, I love the quality of Clarins eye shadows, the packaging is beautiful and if you are looking for something special for your mum, sister, girlfriend or wife you might want to have a look at Clarins website :) The eye quartets come in  eight different colour combinations and would make a perfect Christmas gift.
