MUA lipstick in shade 15/Juicy

MUA Lipstick in shade 15/Juicy (£1.00)

Juicy is a peachy coral shade, but I was expecting it to be more pigmented after swatching it on my hand. When I applied it onto my lips the colour payoff wasn't that great, but I still like it :) After all, I only paid 75p for it :)  Unlike other MUA lipsticks, this shade actually has a name- it is called Juicy/ shade 15.

I was very impressed with shade 3 and the consistency and colour of it were amazing but shade 15 is slightly less creamy and less glossy. To make sure it doesn't look patchy, I used a lip scrub and a lipbalm before applying the lipstick and the final effect was quite nice, but it didn't have as much shine as I would like. The colour  lasted on my lips for 2 hours, which isn't that bad for a £1 lipstick.

Remember when I mentioned all the lipsticks being different sizes? Yeah... What is that all about? ;)

  4. I bought this as I really liked the colour of it and found it was also slightly difficult to apply and went patchy. I bought another shade along side it and that went on beautifully. It's sort of like they've used a different 'recipe' for the Juicy shade which is slightly odd.

  12. I have this but I'm not completly sold on whether or not it suits me. Oh and I bought some recently too which were all different sizes- the larger ones bottoms screw off, maybe they are changing the packaging?

  18. i really like the peachy coloured lipsticks and this one is very nice indeed. MUA always provides people with highly affordable make-up, but i am not too keen on its cheap packaging and would rather pay more for a more sturdier nicer packaging. The different sizes of the lipsticks is a bit strange and random though. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this :) xoxo

  21. If you unscrew the bottoms of the big MUA lipsticks it's like a little pot of the lipstick :)
