No7 Eye Make-up Remover- a great dupe of Lancome's Bi-Facil

When it comes to make-up removers I have to be very careful.  My eyes are very sensitive and most products cause irritation, redness, tears and swelling.  I used Avon, Olay, L'Oreal, Simple, Garnier and all of them caused an allergic reaction! After using all the cheap brands, I decided to try something different. My sister recommended the Lancome Bi-Facil to me, so I paid £21 for a 125ml bottle! It is a lot of money to pay for a make-up remover, but I didn't mind spending it on something that actually works.
I have used Bi-Facil for over 3 years and I love it but... I wanted to find a cheaper alternative.
When I was looking for a no7 product to buy with my £5 off voucher in Boots, I found this amazing dupe!

I read many bad reviews of this product, but the only reason why people didn't like it, was the oily formula. If you don't like "oily" make-up removers, you won't like this one. I wouldn't say that it's greasy and I like the feeling of it. It is slightly more oily than Bi-Facil, but it works in the exact some way.

It is a bi-phase formula that activates when you shake the bottle. It is very gentle, fragrance free and removes all traces of make-up, leaving my skin really soft. With this kind of product, there is no need to scrub your eyes to get waterproof mascara off. All you need to do is gently wipe the make-up off with a cotton wool pad, lightly soaked in this double-action formula.

I absolutely love it and every time I get no7 vouchers I stock up on this product. It quickly became my favourite eye makeup remover and it is really cheap compared to my previous saviour from Lancome.

  1. Amazing dupe, although i too find that this is too oily for my liking. I received a Lancome Bi-facil travel size as a sample and i didn't really like it and the price is quite high for the full sized version too. I am quite picky when it comes to make-up removers but i have to say that the Garnier one works best for me without irritating my eye area but its such a shame that cheaper options causes you to have an allergic reaction. I used to use the MAC eye make-up remover too which works very well and is gentle but once again, i found that the pricing was a bit too high for something that i use regularly.
Thanks for sharing and i am glad that this no.7 remover works for you :)

  2. I'm just like you with my eyes, I also find that not many of the products are good enough, I don't even use a waterproof mascara. I tried Vichy one which was amazing for my eyes, but it just didn't do the job. I might give this one a go. I normally just love to use the Liz Earle hot cloth cleanser on my eyes, as it's removes everything. x

  3. This sounds absolutely brilliant, I have a voucher so I might have to try it :) xo

  4. Oh wow, I need to try this! Like you, I have really sensitive eyes and I really struggle to find make up remover that doesn't irritate them, so I'll give this a try! :)

  5. Great blog! I love to read something like that.

    xoxo, Nina

  6. yay im glad someone has something good to say about this product because I brought it this morning and read so many bad reviews for it on Boots website, but I'm much more confident about it now :) x

  9. I love No7 for eye make up remover, it's so great! xo

  10. I've used 2 bottles of the old style Cleanse and Clear one, and have just got a new one of these. I find it to be great, gets everything off and doesn't irritate me at all, I wear contacts and can sometimes have issues.

  11. I've been thinking of buying this for a while now, I use Bourjois eye make-up remover and have done for years but the bottle drives me mental! so difficult to use, will be sure to check this one out :D
